Beautiful, cosy chalet with a great view

Friendly and personal contact prior to our stay and a warm welcome.A spacious and cosy chalet, equipped with all amenities. With a beautiful large balcony with a great view of the lake. A completely enclosed spacious garden, through which a rocky stream flows (very shallow water). The stream and garden were favorite places for the grandchildren to play.It was a week of pure enjoyment!

A Real Gem,

An excellent location. The pictures on the website pretty much say it all. I am disabled, and access couldn't have been easier. Also great terrain to try out my new mobility scooter. We had a French speaker in our party, which was fortunate as it seems to be an area where English doesn't appear to be spoken much. Didn't see another British reg. vehicle the whole week.

Gerardmer - Superb!

A comfortable and well equipped chalet with superb views over Gerardmer Lake and situated in a nice area of the town. It has a large balcony that is in full sun for most of the day and a superb spot for eating as there is a huge sun shade, electrically operated. Sleeps 6 persons comfortably. A new sauna in the basement area. Parking is in secure parking area. The town is popular with visitors who have full access to the lake and with numerous restaurants and bars. Thoroughly recommended. We were well supported by a local representative of the owner.

Very cosy chalet with a fenominal postcard view of the lake from the roomy deck. Good size rooms, decent beds. Nice (christmassy) decoration throughout. Dowstairs is like a seperate appartment with separate bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and the sauna. Close to the center of Gerardmer, but note it is up on a hill, so walking up from the town is a bit of a walk uphill. Gerardmer itself is a nice town with a lively center and plenty of dining choice. The part near the lake is nice also, The beach area is small though. Tip: rent an electrical boat for an hour, it's very nice.

Optimal für Reisen mit Hund. Das Gelände ist komplett eingezäunt und die Zufahrt lässt sich mit einem Tor schließen. Leider sind die Räumlichkeiten im Untergeschoss für große Menschen nicht nutzbar. Ich mit 1,91m kann nicht aufrecht stehen. Damit wäre die beworbene Sauna für mich nicht nutzbar. Das war jetzt im Sommerurlaub nicht das Problem. Der Rest des Hauses und auch die Lage am Berghang mit Blick auf den See waren einfach nur klasse. Alle Fenster lassen sich mit Schiebeläden bzw. Rollladen verschließen, so dass die Sonne wenn nötig ausgesperrt werden konnte und auch eine Markise für Sonnenschutz auf dem Balkon ist vorhanden. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet.Wir waren für eine Woche zu viert mit Hund dort und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Das Chalet liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend. Zu Fuß oder per Rad ist man schnell am See oder im Ort mit vielen Geschäften, gemütlichen Bars und Restaurants.Das Haus ist sehr sauber, bei der Ausstattung fehlt es an nichts. Die Küche ist besonders gut ausgestattet und ist sehr geräumig. Die Holzterrasse ist sehr schön und bietet einen herrlichen Ausblick auf den See und die Landschaft. Sehr schön ist der komplett eingezäunte Garten speziell für Hunde. Auch die untere überdachte Terrasse am Fahrradkeller ist sehr praktisch. Die Kommunikation mit Claude war problemlos und sehr nett. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Chalet idéal pour un séjour en petite famille (chien inclus!).La situation est parfaite avec une vue dont on ne se lasse pas, à proximité du lac, du centre. Les village environnants et les autres lacs sont à quelques minutes en voiture.Le chalet est pratique, très bien équipé, les pièces de vie sont suffisamment spacieuses (mention spéciale pour la cuisine). La terrasse est idéale en été!Le jardin entièrement clôturé et joliment aménagé ont fait le bonheur de notre chien.Et enfin, un hôte attentionné avec qui la communication est facile et rapide. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine et reviendront certainement !

Das Chalet bietet alles was man braucht, sehr gut ausgestattet. Geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, große Küche, tolle Terrasse mit Blick über den See, eine kleine Sauna trägt zudem zur Entspannung bei. Der komplett eingezäunte Garten ist für Hundebesitzer besonders empfehlenswert. Das Auto steht direkt im Grundstück, für Radler steht ein Fahrradkeller zur Verfügung.Wir hatten zusammen mit unserem Hund eine erholsame Zeit. Das Chalet ist absolut empfehlenswert, der Vermieter ist jederzeit zu erreichen und hilfsbereit.

Ce chalet est juste sublime, tellement chaleureux, on s'y sent bien dès les premières minutes.De plus, l'accueil réservé par Claude est aussi chaleureux que son chalet.Tout y est pour notre confort, il ne manque vraiment rien.Une vue à couper le souffle sur le lac qui varie tout au long de la journée.Nombreuses promenades à faire en forêt ou autour du lac, sans parler des pistes de ski à vol d'oiseau.Merci encore pour cette belle semaine entre parenthèses...A l'année prochaine !!!!

Très beau chalet rénové avec goût
