Southernmost Condo Complex in Garden City with Wide Un-Crowded Beach!

Enjoy this quiet beachfront property with a beautiful wide beach and ocean view from our third floor balcony. This family friendly location is 2.4 miles south of the Garden City Pier and offers a slower paced environment than the crowds of Myrtle Beach. Enjoy swimming in a large oceanfront pool or walking an un-crowded beach just 1 mile South to the mouth of Murrells Inlet or 2 miles North to the Garden City Pier. The master bedroom has a king size bed, half bath, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and an ocean view. Second bedroom has two full size beds and a ceiling fan. There is a full bath between the two bedrooms. The kitchen/dinning room is fully furnished with everything you need to prepare and serve meals. The living room has ample, comfortable seating as well as a flat screen TV, cable TV, DVD player, WiFi, and central air/heat. The grounds include an oceanfront pool, charcoal grill, and a coin operated community laundry facility. Building security includes a gate code to enter both the building and parking lot. This charming ocean front getaway, only contains 24 condos and is the southern most condo complex in Garden City. Please note, this building is not handicap accessible and does not have an elevator.

Love the location, the bed is exhausting to sleep on (stiff as a board) the floor in my opinion wasn't clean felt sticky (cleaning crew gotta step it up) furniture old and out dated

Beach Time

Once again we had a wonderful stay at South Pointe Villas. The condo is well stocked for your comfort and convenience. The beach is clean and was not crowded. I’m already making arrangements for next year.

Vintage vibes of the Grand Strand

Found this perfect little gem away from all the hustle and bustle typical of present day Myrtle Beach. This 2 bedroom condo was reminiscent of those my family and I stayed in throughout the 1980s, The condo was very cozy and pristine without all the unnecessary frills and distractions often found in modern resorts. Appreciated that towels and lines were included in my stay. Surrounding pool and property were all well maintained. The local residents were also very pleasant, this complex was situated in a lovely neighborhood area and I found it to be delightful. The host was top quality, entire process from initial reservation to checking in and out was a breeze. Highly recommended!

Condo smells moldy

My family has been vacationing at south pointe villas since the 80’s. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with the condo we’ve rented. The mold smell was the worst part. The furnishings were ok but not great. TVs were very small. I love the South Pointe Villas location but wouldn’t recommend this particular condo.

We had another wonderful stay at Southpointe Villas. The location is convenient to anything you may need or want to do. Mini golf, restaurants, local attractions, seafood and grocery stores. The condo is comfortable and has everything you need. Check-in is easy and always goes smoothly. Looking forward to next year.

Good beach stay

Unit/condo was clean and kitchen was well supplied but when we first got there, there was a musty smell. Furniture is wicker and could use updating. Scream door kept falling off so did not use it. Great access to the beach. Enjoyed the pool.

Getting Away

We enjoyed spending the week at this adorable condo with the Atlantic Ocean just steps away from our front door. What away to start your mornings with a cup coffee or a night cap at the end of the day listening to the ocean waves hitting the shore. Breath taking views from our balcony of the Atlantic Ocean but also of Murrells Inlet. We watched dolphins swim along the shore, explored the surrounding coastal towns rich in history, caught a spectacular show one night at the Carolina Opry. We are planning on return trip in the future.

Wonderful!

This property couldn't have been more perfect for us! The booking process was super simple. Jennifer emails you the information you need to get checked in. The condo is stocked with everything you need for your stay. The beach is fantastic! I don't know if it was the time of year we were there but the beach was empty for my sunrise and after dinner walks. So peaceful. The condo is located near everything you would need for shopping and eating. We loved the location. I felt like it was a safe area. There is a pool but the water was a bit chilly. Jennifer is very quick to respond. She was awesome. I can't find anything negative to say. You will not be disappointed.

Great location!

Great location on the beach. Pool looked nice (although too cold to try it out). Condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the balcony with ocean view. Quiet area but still close enough to drive to everything. Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect family getaway

This condo tops our list of perfect properties for our beach getaways. We stayed for 9 nights and had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked, beds we’re comfortable and furniture was exactly what a beach place should have. The views from the balcony were perfect for sunrise, sunset, and sandwiches at lunch. The pool and landscaping around the property were immaculate and the gated parking lot was a real bonus. Jennifer was quick to respond during the reservation process and gave detailed instructions on check in and out procedures. The property is well taken care of and we appreciate her hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

We have stayed at South Pointe Villas since 1991. This is by far the nicest and best equipped condo we have stayed in. Jennifer is quick to respond to any questions you may have. The location is perfect. Close enough to anything you may need or want to do. The beach is the best.

Actual condo was better than the photos on Vrbo! No bug anywhere! Washer and dryer inside the condo. The entire building was very quiet and family friendly.

Condo in Murrell's Inlet

The condo was located in a quiet part of inlet. The balcony had a fabulous view of the ocean. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys were provided, but no umbrella as stated in the description (the owner did state this when I asked). I would highly recommend this condo in Murrell's Inlet.

My husband and I both grew up going to Garden City Beach with our families. We have very fond memories as children and continued to vacation there once we were married and had a family of our own. We fell in love with Southpointe Villas after vacationing there for several years. We love the location, wide beach, oceanfront pool, and family friendly community.

What makes this property unique

We chose this particular condo because of the amazing coastline view from the balcony. Even when you are inside, you still feel like you are at the beach.
