The apartment called "the Black", is at the center of Zafferana, on the first floor of a new building, close to the Square and the Town Park.
It is used as a holiday home, fully furnished and equipped.
The apartment is spacious and has two bathrooms and two comfortable bedrooms, which offer up to 6 beds. a spacious living room, a balcony that overlooks the main street and a comfortable balcony.
The kitchen is equipped with everything and is available to guests, which, when used, must maintain its litter.
The price varies according to the number of guests.
Being in the center, you can walk to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops in the country.
The bus stops are very close to one hundred meters and, in the space opposite the Town Park, there is a large car park.

Appartement idéal a Zafferana !

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans l'appartement d'Enza. Il est magnifiquement placé en plein centre de la ville et a proximité immédiate de toutes les commodités. La décoration est soignée, la litterie confortable, les pièces spacieuses, très bien équipées, et la terrasse est magnifique. Pour parfaire le tout, Enza est une personne charmante et joviale, qui a été disponible à tout moment pour nous renseigner sur toute question pendant notre séjour. Plein de petites attentions nous attendaient a l'arrivée, dont tout le nécessaire (et bien plus) pour le petit déjeuner. Le choix de Zafferana est idéal pour découvrir le volcan (les 2 routes pour l'explorer y passent) et plus largement tout l'est de la Sicile. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, n'hésitez pas un instant !

Alexis, Amélie, Lucile et Clémence sont arrivées à l'heure, dans une belle voiture Rouge et Noir, qui s'accordait parfaitement avec les couleurs de l'Etna quand il est en éruption, et bien sûr aussi avec mon appartement ! Et l'harmonie s'est poursuivie tout au long du séjour ! Agréables, sympathiques et respectueux, ils ont laissé la maison en parfait état. Que demander de plus?

Apartment was spotless!! Impeccably maintained with 2 large bedrooms and wide open space for combined dining and living room. There was a fabulous selection of food & drink for breakfast and all the amenities you'd need for a very comfortable stay. Location was PERFECT in Zafferana and getting to/from other towns around the Eastern side of Mt. Etna. Best part - our incredible host Enza and her family!! From beginning to end, she was amazing! Helped track down our Sicilian family roots, provided up-to-date tips on our outings and great restaurant suggestions. Really can't say enough about how amazing she is and how she helped create the trip of a lifetime for my family. THANK YOU ENZA!!!❤️🇮🇹😊

Herzlich und sehr Willkommen

Enza ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die keine Wünsche offen lässt! Die Wohnung ist gross und perfekt ausgestattet, wir fühlten uns sofort Zuhause und bedauerte es sehr nur 2 Tage bleiben zu können. Zafferena ist ein hübsches Städtchen und alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Parken durften wir in Enzas privater Garage, kostenfrei! Auch bekamen wir ein wunderbares Frühstück serviert, mit dem wir nicht gerechnet hatten. Lediglich die zentrale aber auch verkehrsreiche Lage ist vlt. nicht jedermanns Sache, aber ein Schlafzimmer liegt nach hinten und es gibt eine wunderbare schattige Terasse.

A gold star for 'the Red and the Black'!

Enza is a warm, friendly and generous hostess, who could not have been more helpful and delightful! She also speaks English very well, which is a great help to those of us whose Italian is limited to a few words, mainly to do with food! A 'welcome breakfast' on our first day and a 'farewell breakfast' on our last were unexpected bonuses, but typical of the hospitality shown, which included a well stocked fridge, fresh fruit and wine! The apartment is very spacious with a big comfortable lounge/dining room, two large double bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, a well stocked kitchen and two outside sitting areas. The name 'The Red and the Black 'reflects the proximity of Mt Etna and is carried through the décor of the apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and sheets, towels etc. were changed mid way through our stay. The secure, underground garage meant that parking was never an issue and the proximity of all of the amenities in Zafferana mean that there is no need for the car once you return from longer excursions to Taormina, Mt Etna, Catania, Syracuse etc. Enza knows her home area well and is happy to recommend places to eat and visit which are off the main tourist routes. Being on the main road means that you are close to the main square where there are lively bars and eateries well into the evening. A slight downside is that some of the late-night revellers can be a bit noisy as they pass by! Sadly Mt Etna is not visible from the terrace, but its presence can be felt throughout Zafferana. In all, our stay was delightful and memorable, made all the better by the kindness and thoughtfulness of our delightful hostess, Enza and all of the other warm and friendly Sicilians we encountered. Many thanks for having us to stay with you.
