About this property
Newly renovated dog friendly cottage with spectacular sea views
Enjoy spectacular sea views from this 3 bedroom cottage in New Quay. Clydfan has recently been redecorated throughout and features a lovely sea side theme.
Downstairs is open plan with a large living room with TV, DVD player, Bluetooth enabled Cd player and comfortable seating for all the family This leads into a spacious kitchen diner with a large dining table and chairs, cooker, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.
The first floor is accessed via a spiral staircase with 2 double bedrooms, the rear bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with shower cubicle and beautiful views over Cardigan Bay which can be enjoyed from the upper deck area accessed from the bedroom.
Also on the first floor is the family bathroom with bath and shower over.
The second floor attic area is perfect for the younger members of the family with 3 single cabin beds, TV & DVD, games console & table football table. There is also a bed chair in the attic which can be used as an additional "put you up" if required.
Whilst the cabin beds are adult size, the headroom is limited so if adults are sleeping there they need to watch their head!
Bed linen, towels and toiletries are all supplied, but please bring your own bedding, including duvet and pillows, for the chair bed and travel cot and please bring your own beach towels.
From the kitchen diner, accessed via bi fold doors, there is a beautiful, fully enclosed garden with a deck area with table and chairs for al fresco dining. The garden also has comfortable seating, sunbeds and a barbeque.
With views over the sea and coastline the garden is perfect for dolphin spotting whilst enjoying a well earned sundowner after an exhilarating day on one of New Quay's three beaches, or messing about on the water, sailing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, fishing or taking one of the many dolphin watching or fishing boat trips all available in New Quay and a short walk from the cottage.
Alternatively put your feet up after walking one of the many coastal paths very close to the cottage, which form part of the Ceredigion Coastal path, walking guides and OS maps are available in the cottage. There are no restrictions on taking dogs onto 2 of New Quay's 3 beaches throughout the year and up to 2 dogs are welcome at an additional cost of £15 per dog.
There are numerous eating establishments in New Quay ranging from Restaurants, Pubs, Cafes, Take Aways and of course Fish and Chip shops so that you can enjoy your fish and chips on the quay or the beach.
All the local eateries pride themselves on sourcing local produce, where possible, and the fish on your plate may well have been landed that day by some of the local fishermen who sell their catch on the quayside.
Alternatively take a picnic, we have a picnic hamper and picnic rug at the cottage.
.
Although there is no parking at the cottage within 100 metres is a pay and display car park with a weekly multi use tariff of £21.00.
For larger parties Clydfan can be booked with Garthowen Property 1668824, 3 doors away at a 10% discount of the overall cost.
