We had a wonderful stay at Elaine’s property here in Aberdeen. It was just like staying at grandmas. Such a cute apartment and Elaine was kind enough to leave wine, coffee, snacks, and chocolates out for us. We had all the essentials we could possibly need and were just a short walk to the city center. Elaine was so flexible in our arrival time and offered to store our luggage for us until we caught our train. Highly recommend.

Elaine was a jewel. Very helpful, explained things to see in Aberdeen and did not stop their. Helped us with train to Edinburgh info. Called a taxi for us as our phones did not connect, but we had her number. Not just a place to lay your head down, but a place to call home home away from home. Empressed with the secret goodies Elaine left for us. Highly recommend staying here in Aberdeen. We now have the perfect location when we return in the future. So much history, scenery, excursions you can take. Check out Silver Darling restaurant...the beach view is stunning, serve prompt, and food tasty. Thank you Eliane for all your help.
This apartment is a rare and unexpected gem. Elaine is a great host, from her thorough walk through to make sure you know where things are and how things work, to the special touches she adds to ensure you feel like a welcome and appreciated guest.
The apartment has everything you might need and more, and you can feel the love that Elaine has put into the place. It’s also impeccably clean!
We thought we had chosen a practical and affordable place to ‘hang our hats’ for a couple of days, but we found a warm and charming haven with lovely cityscape views. And we got lucky! Aurora Borealis from the balcony. Just fantastic!
Easy to find, super friendly and helpful hosts :-)
Good central placement in Aberdeen!
Only one small point: the floor was not clean, but we only picked that up because we are used to not wearing shoes indoor, so our socks got a bit dirty
Otherwise no problems at all!

Hi Frank hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.
Thank you for your great review and so glad you enjoyed your stay.
We have had a fair bit of rainy weather lately and did find that coming in from the balcony left a bit of dust etc on the floor we have rectified that by putting a small mat at the door of the balcony.
Enjoy the rest of the summer and we hope to host you all again in the future.

Comfortable flat in a great location
Elaine and George were so wonderful! The flat was clean, comfortable, and the little extras were so thoughtful. Elaine left a sweet treat for our 2 boys that were traveling with us (our son and his best friend). They appreciated that! There were essentials in the kitchen including milk and juice and coffee and cereal so we didn't have to run out and get breakfast items. We loved visiting Aberdeen and will be back. Hope to stay in Elaine and George's flat again in the future.

Centrally located, excellent price
The flat, in a modern building, is well-equiped, located near Union street and the center of town. For the two days our family of 4 was in Aberdeen it was perfect. Elaine had stocked the kitchen with everything necessary for breakfast and all the essentials for cooking so there was no need to buy salt, oil, etc. She was extremely helpful and made sure our stay went well. Only disadvantage is that parking is a bit hard to find around the building.
