With Gwenver beach right below you, Brook House is in a fantastic location for a memorable holiday at any time of year.

Town: Sennen Cove is a small fishing village situated close to Land's End. The village has a lifeboat station, church, a couple of shops and a café. The town of St Just is close by and has several monuments, prehistoric antiquities, a town hall, a church, shops and pubs. Chose this venue, which was a charming beach house which had stunning views by the way, because of the close proximity to the dog friendly beach. However for my husband and I the access was too much of a challenge. Whilst we are in our 70's I at least, am fit and healthy but was advised by younger relatives that both accesses to the beach were not suitable. In fact they were challenged as were others we spoke to. The outside space alluded to wasn't overly user friendly on a daily basis to sit and relax. Other properties on the site had balconies and usable flat grassy areas to sit and enjoy the view. I would have preferred one of those to be fair. Couple of niggles within the property but not major ones and they didn't spoil the experience but the beach issue definitely was a major disappointment. We weren't able to go on the beach at all for the duration of our stay sadly. For this reason wouldn't rebook this house.

Great views

House was spotless and clean. Kitchen utensils good, knives sharp enough to fillet the wonderful fresh fish bout from the fishmongers on The Strand in Newlyn. Walk to the beach exhilarating but safe! Really beautiful views from the living room matched by the unbelievable weather (only rained the afternoon we went to the Minack!) . Must return next year.
