Charming house overlooking Manistee Golf and Country Club with distant views of Lake Michigan from the living room window. Just a few blocks from Lake Michigan beaches, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, boat launch, river walk and downtown Manistee.

Central air, high-speed wireless internet, large screen tv with roku, HBO and netflix, outdoor grill, Keurig coffee maker, washer and dryer, fire pit, large fenced backyard with a patio and a garage are just a few of the many extras that come with this vacation rental.

First street beach, just a hop skip and a jump away, has two playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, a boat launch, a dog park, and picnic tables and grills. There are several restaurants and bars in the town of Manistee and a quaint historic downtown district. The little river casino is 7 miles away.

Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed, with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on the top.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, baking dishes, pots and pans, flatware, wine glasses, and much more.

There is a huge completely fenced backyard. In the backyard, enjoy croquet and cornhole. There are lounge chairs and tables and chairs to enjoy the outdoors.

All linens are provided.

Cherry Street property

Excellent location, well maintained and quiet neighborhood. Minutes from downtown and 1st street beach. Kitchen was well equipped too. Nice fenced in back yard. Only 1 bathroom but not a big deal. Overall a great place

Great vacation!!

This was a cozy house for me and my adult/teenage daughters with plenty to do. We went to the beach every day...shopped downtown...and took a daytrip to the Arcadia Dunes. We couldn't ask for a better getaway....we love Manistee and this house..... and will definitely be back next year!!

Enjoyable stay in Manistee

The house was just as stated. Enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the limited bath towels, and wash clothes (we had only one for each of the 4 people for the 5 nights we stayed and would prefer not to have to do laundry for a clean towels.). Also enjoyed the fawns in the backyard.

Cozy and Clean

We had such a wonderful time at the Cherry Street Cottage with our 3 dogs. We were able to visit many wonderful towns just an hour to two away. Including a few day trips up north. Our pups loved the fenced in yard and the golf course view was peaceful. Close to downtown and First Street Beach. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Charming retreat

Everything about this property was exactly as portrayed and even above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend staying at this sweet cottage, especially for those with children, as there are bunkbeds and games available for all age groups.

A week in Manistee

The house was easy to find, and the pictures do it justice. The house was very comfortable, feeling like home. The golf course across the street was an added benefit making the front yard feel expansive. The location was great as we walked to beach area and the river walk. The fenced in backyard was great area for our standard poodle to check out. We recommend this property to anyone staying in the Manistee area. We will look to stay here again the next time we vacation on Manistee.

Attractive small older house with huge nicely landscaped fenced backyard with patio area and fire pit. Located directly across street from Country Club golf course (we collected a half dozen balls, recommended to park in garage!), 5 minutes from public beaches and downtown. WiFi worked well. Needed to reset TV hookup. Kitchen had newer appliances. Dishwasher was small mobile unit that had to be moved to hookup to the sink faucet, we used it once and then hand washed the remainder of our stay. Washer and dryer in basement worked well. AC worked well. Floors in entire house squeaked, we joked no one could sneak up on us. Bathtub was a bit freaky as it had a spongy bounce when you stepped on it, likely from having a bath fitter overlay unit. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoor areas.

Quick family getaway

The house is exactly as described. Charming, clean, fully stocked kitchen and lots of very nice amenities. The back yard was way bigger than I expected and my dog loved having an area to go run around off leash. The beach is so close abs within walking distance. The golf course is directly across the street. It was nice to look out the front windows in the morning and evening and watch all the deer families walk through. Downtown is also very close. Lots of places to choose from. Just remember to check hours as everything closes earlier than normal. We will definitely come back here to stay.

60th high school reunion

We had a great stay. There are so many positives about this property and it’s perfect for children and a dog with all the games, yard toys, several bikes and the fenced in backyard. Our dog loved it. The location was great - right across the street from the golf course and within walking distance to first street beach. We walked our dog there several times. The kitchen was very well equipped with a separate eating area with a table and chairs for eating. The only negatives we’re having to go down in the basement to do our wash as the stairs were quite steep for elderly people. The other negative was the bathroom - it’s very small and really only one person Can comfortably fit in there at once. Plus the shower/tub situation is really difficult for anyone who is a senior as the tub itself is quite old and very high with nothing to hold onto when stepping in and out. We wouldn’t recommend this property for any senior adults because of the bathroom & basement laundry situation, but it would be great for a young family.

Enjoyable vacation.

Really enjoyed the view of the golf course. Our dog absolutely loved the backyard with so much space to run around. The house was well supplied with everything we needed to feel at home. The only thing I missed was our king sized bed at home. We slept in separate rooms. The beds were very comfortable though.

Wonderful location

We loved the Cherry Street house. It was clean and the backyard is amazing! We used the bikes to ride to the beach and loved watching deer graze on the golf course across the street. The house has everything you need for a great stay in Manistee.

Great Place

We had a great time here. Really good location in a nice neighborhood setting. Close to town, walkable to a large beach area with a nice front porch looking out over the golf course across the street. Huge backyard that our dog and daughter loved playing in during the day.

Beach family getaway

Cute little house - older so rooms were small but perfect for our purposes. We needed a place we could have our dogs with us and the large fenced-in back yard was great. Best of all the neighborhood was quiet and first street beach is just down the street (including a dog beach! ). Great fit for our needs and our granddaughters loved it.
