Very exclusive 3 bedroom luxury villa (sleeps ideally 4) in Greece for rental, with UNBELIEVABLE VIEWS OF THE IONIAN SEA - offering the highest standard of accommodation in the unique village setting of Kourkourmelata village, set on a hillside. The villa stands alone, has an infinity pool with landscaped gardens, furnished with high quality interiors.The terrace overlooks Kourkoumelata village and the Ionian Sea. A purpose built BBQ is also provided. Very unique, perfect choice for stunning views & luxury stay in premium location, 5* facilities, & great reviews.

Flight Information: There are many direct flights available from April thru to End October with the main tour operators, Thomson, Olympic and now Easyjet & Jet 2. Out of season you can get to the island via Athens, from Athens to Kefalonia you will need to use Olympic airlines. You can also fly via Pisa with Ryan air from London Stansted.

Kefalonia: Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian islands. Very unspoilt with beautiful varied landscape. Beaches offer something for everyone safe sandy or pebbly, all with beautiful clean blue water and excellent for snorkelling.

Places to visit - villages such as Assos and the beautiful harbour of Fiscardo, virtually undamaged by the earthquake of 1953 are well worth a visit also the beautiful church of Agios Gerasimos, the Drogarti caves and Melissani Lake. You could also take a day trip to Ithaca. If you like walking visit the dramatic Mount Ainos,1628m, and its surrounding National Park. In Omala Valley you will find the famous Robola vineyards.
There are boat trips available from Argostoli the capital. Information available at the Villas.

Weather - the weather on the island is very warm from May right through to October. The winters are mild with many a sunning day even in December.

Food and drink: Local mini markets will provide essentials e.g. bread, fresh milk. There are also main supermarkets which will provide you will all the essentials you will need mid way between the Villas and Argostoli. There are daily fruit and veg markets in Argostoli with harbour front fish and meat also of a very high standard. In the main town there are a selection of food stores with a wider range of groceries. There are numerous tavernas around the island offering fresh fish, meat, pasta, salads and local dishes. In Argostoli, there are more restaurants to enjoy also some excellent patisseries. For wine lovers there are several wineries on the island to visit and sample the local Robola grape.

Pretty villa with a great pool in a quiet location with fabulous views . The villa had everything you could require to hand and the hosts John and Claire were so friendly and full of local information and handy tips. We loved our stay and will be going back.

Our stay at the villa was idyllic. Beautiful property which was maintained to the highest standards. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the hosts performed a clean after our first week. The view to the ocean was magnificent and we were treated to memorable sunsets every night. The hosts were delightful and very helpful with all our questions. We highly recommend Villa Flora.

We loved Villa Flor. John and Claire could not have been more wonderful, helpful and attentive.

It is a spacious house with everything you need. Pool is a good size. Views are excellent. Much better than the photos. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Easy to be there with a group. Kefalonia is a gorgeous island. We had never been to it before— many five star beaches and no end to restaurants.

Roomy villa, pretty garden, pool and pool area with bbq, plenty of space. Lovely terrace with fabulous views across the Ionian Sea to Zakinthos! Just stunning! Absolutely loved it!

Stunning Villa with great hosts!

We had the most amazing holiday in Villa Flora. John was there on arrival to show us around and Claire was always available with any questions and helped with anything we needed whether it was Villa related or not. Villa Flora was better than we could have imagined – stunning location and the views are to die for! The outdoor and indoor space were just fabulous. We would highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Views - Excellent Hosts

The property has phenomenal views across the south coast of the island and the sunsets are magical. John and Claire are the kindest and most helpful hosts we have ever come across. The villa is very well appointed and furnished and set in a hidden location. A car is essential if staying here and you have to manage the steep descent to the villa although you can park at the top if you don't fancy the descent. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa.

Great villa with a great view

This villa has an amazing view. Claire, met us on arrival and showed us around the villa. Very clean and comfortable. Has all the facilities you need including a lovely welcome pack, very thoughtful. Lovely pool with comfortable sunbeds, actually loads of outdoor seating for every time of day. Would thoroughly recommend. Also great location for visiting the capital and local beaches.

Stunning villa!

We have just come home from a fantastic 10 night stay in the beautiful villa Flora! The communication was fantastic, John was there to greet us when we arrived and Claire came over the following morning. The villa is situated in a lovely quiet location with beautiful views and close driving distance to larger towns and beaches. There’s everything you could want in the villa and more! We’ve never been to Kefalonia before, but will definitely be returning and without a doubt staying at Villa Flora! 5/5 rating on everything from us all! Thank you John and Claire for such a wonderful stay!

A beautiful house and wonderful view

we very much enjoyed staying at John and Claires' house ,in particular sitting or lying next to its lovely pool marvelling at the superb view across the island to the sea.We were grateful for the range of provisions provided when we arrived and for John's kindness and enthusiasm in making our stay enjoyable and memorable.Like some others we found the hill down to the house a bit daunting (although perfectly driveable) so we parked in the square next to the church a couple of minutes walk away, which was no hassle.Thanks also to Claire for her prompt and accurate communications.

A wonderful stay at this lovely villa

We had a brilliant holiday in this great part of Kefalonia. The villa is situated close to a few good restaurants and the beach, but is also secluded. The pool area is gorgeous and with its elevated position, the villa looks out onto the landscape below with the sea in the background. A lovely vista to wake up to each morning and to look at whilst having a morning cuppa on the balcony! Claire was a brilliant host, she left us to enjoy the villa but we knew she was there if we needed her. She responded to a query we had on the lighting really promptly and nothing was too much trouble for her. All in all, I would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.

Fabulous

From the beginning John and Claire (the owners) were welcoming and informative. They were unobtrusive as they changed towels etc. and even lent us some binoculars to enhance the fantastic views from the terrace and the pool. The villa is magnificent and the infinity pool means that there are never any leaves or bugs in it. In every way they made us feel at home with nothing too much trouble for them. The aircon cools the villa so there are no hot, sleepless nights. There are a number of excellent beaches a short drive away and the water is very warm and clear. My wife and two children (4 & 7) had such a great time relaxing and having fun that, for the first time in several years, we didn't want to come home. I wholeheartedly recommend the villa, the island and the owners.

Wonderful Villa Flora

We have recently had the most wonderful stay at Vila Flora which is even more stunning than the photos suggest. The property is spacious and immaculately presented and the pool area is beautiful with sun loungers and umbrellas/shade available on 3 sides and a breathtaking view. John and Claire had thought of everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We arrived late so really appreciated the very well stocked fridge and cupboard (including fresh bread, honey, cheese, yoghurt, mlk and fresh fruit) and with a plentiful supply of basic items which meant we didn’t even have to locate the supermarket for the first couple of days. John took time to explain how we would navigate to various destinations and made some useful recommendations about restaurants and other places to visit. John and Claire were especially accommodating in allowing us to check out late in the day for a nominal fee which effectively allowed us to have a whole extra day to enjoy this lovely space. The villa is located at the end of a steep and somewhat intimidating drive and whilst this is clearly quite manageable for confident drivers (as evidenced by John), we chose to park on the road instead. We cannot recommend Villa Flora more highly and have been recommending it to all and sundry since our return.

Little Bit of Paradise

Villa Flora was beautiful - light, airy, spacious and attractively furnished - in an amazing hillside location with breath-taking views from the house and the poolside across the south of the island to the sea. It really was a little bit of paradise. The villa is well located offering easy access to Argostoli and the sandy beaches on the south coast. Our favourite, Ai Helis - a sandy cove where you can snorkel around the rocks - is an easy five minute drive away. There are a number of good places to eat out within walking distance.

Best villa I have ever stayed in

We arrived and was very pleasantly surprised at the thought and effort that had gone into this place . John the owner met us and showed us around , we all felt immediately at home. There was nothing whatsoever we needed. Villa flora had the most beautiful views and on our last day we had problems with our passenger location forms which meant we didn’t check out on time, not only was this not a problem John and his beautiful wife Claire helped us to get the forms done and could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be back and are very grateful to have stayed in such a beautiful villa in such a beautiful island with such wonderful hosts

A piece of Heaven

Everything about this villa was simply excellent. The villa itself is very well equipped, beautifully decorated. The outside area and pool are exceptional. Stunning sea views and lovely garden. The location is perfect for visiting all the island and really peaceful all the time. Close to so many great restaurants. The owners are exceptionally helpful, recommending places to go and checking in every now and then. Even dropping off yummy cakes one day. A nice welcome pack is waiting when you arrive. I can recommend this villa too highly. Magnificent two weeks here.

Superbl Holiday Venue

Villa Flora offers a super setting for a holiday stay for friends or families. Facilities are excellent, the villa is very well aquipped, comfortable and has a stunning outlook. Claire, the host, is helpful and attentive without interfering. As a group of 3 couples we had all the space and convenient accommodation to socialise together, both in the sun and shade, and room to have separate quiet time if wanted. I thoroughly recommend Villa Flora and indeed the Island of Kefalonia both of which exceeded all our expectations. Just one point to remember - the access road is formidably steep ( wheel spinning steep) and should not be underestimated. We all had a wonderful and memorable 2 weeks and would all love to repeat the experience.

Perfect family villa

The villa was exactly as it stated online. Very clean, well equipped and beautiful views. Several lovely restaurants in walking distance and short drives to beaches. Claire was brilliant with all communication and gave us some great tips about local restaurants and places to visit. Absolutely loved the island and hope to return in the future!
