Property exactly as advertised.
Nothing negative to say.
Lodge was perfect, well equipped, quiet, lovely area, all great.
There were only two of us and it was perfect for a lovely short break. Highly recommend.
Beautiful 5 star quality luxury lodge in lovely tranquil surroundings. Great scenery to look out on sitting in your private hot tub on the deck. You can see no expense has been spared inside the lodge and we couldn't fault our stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely stay again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend Tor Farm lodges to anyone!
Our family of 4 had the best 3 night break away at Tor Farm.
The lodge was immaculate and well equipped with the hot tub a bubbling welcome. Our check-in was swift and friendly and the location, although rural, is a brilliant base to explore in and around Cheddar.
Watching the sheep and chickens graze was also therapeutic - i also spotted a few rabbits!
The owners also sell fresh eggs provided by their happy brood.

Great place for a reunion with friends. Fabulous location and the facilities in the lodge were excellent. The only thing we couldn’t find (and no one thought to bring!) was salt and pepper! We’re planning a return trip!
From the moment I booked communication was spot on. Contactless booking in highly recommend. Everything needed for short break.
Hot tub was a superb bonus
We are a group of 4 friends that wanted a beautiful lodge with a hot tub in beautiful surroundings to relax and honey suckle lodge definitely delivered on this it’s beautiful.
We spent a really lovely week at Honeysuckle Lodge. It was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The lodge is located in beautiful countryside and gave us the peaceful break we wanted. We also loved the hot tub!! It is only 10 mins from Cheddar, which has some lovely shops & tearooms/restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
I am passing on the comments from my daughter and partner as they stayed for her 40th birthday and I had booked it. After an initial mix up with the booking, i had received an email with the details and code for entry and to be fair i did not check the name of the lodge. They arrived at primrose lodge as it said on the email find it was the wrong lodge. This was quickly resolved and they were soon in the right place. They said it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The only criticism was the internet, it was off most of the time. Apart from that the loved the lodges and hot tub and would certainly return

Thank you for your review.
I sincerely apologise regarding the mix up on lodge name on your email, you booked Honeysuckle lodge and i accidentally keyed the wrong name on our check in details email. The lodge you booked was allocated to your booking correctly.
We are so pleased your daughter and partner enjoyed Honeysuckle lodge, its location and hot tub.
We pride ourselves on our personal and friendly service and always look to resolve any issues immediately, so please always contact me to let me know when you are here if there is a problem, i would have gone to reset our routers and/or contacted our internet provider had i known their was an issue with the internet not working.
Lovely to hear your daughter and partner would return to Tor Farm and look forward to welcoming them sometime in the future.
Keep safe and well.
Many thanks

Excellent furnishings, spotlessly clean, easy check in. Few things missing which I would expect to see in a property of this rating : - Oven Gloves
Microwave Cooking utensils
Proper size wine glasses ( Glasses provided were mroe like breakfast juice glasses) no Gin Glasses ( Seeing as this is the drink of the time ) and no tea plates, just dinner plates
We had a lovely relaxing time, the surrounding scenery was beautiful. Enjoyed a short walk up to the main road where there was an excellent cider barn. Hot tub was fantastic, overall the calming experience we wanted. Thankyou
We stayed at Honeysuckle Lodge and couldn’t fault it in any way. Spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and situated in beautiful countryside. We really didn’t want to go home but as a consolation we booked to go back for three days at New Year and we really cannot wait. Thank you Karen and family for creating such a beautiful place.
The property is very impressive! Super clean, modern and neat with many essentials already catered for such as shower gel and shampoo. The hot tub was definitely the highlight for me as I made sure to enjoy that daily. The surrounding area is beautiful with the fields and farm animals. I would certainly recommend a stay here.

About the host
Hosted by Karen Hansford
Brian and Caroline Ladd, both in their sixties, have lived at Tor Farm for 33 years and originally farmed the land. They have brought up 4 children who all left home and now have 8 grandchildren to enjoy. For the last 24 years they have offered B&B in the farmhouse, but now want to take things a little quieter, and are just offering 9 holiday cottages, so that they can spend more time with their family. Their main interests are gardening, playing bridge and touring Britain in their caravan.
Why they chose this property
We originally bought the land, the holiday cottages now stand on in 1985, when it was a dairy farm. We have farmed for many years until it was no longer viable, and decided to turn the old farm yard, and farm house in to luxury self catering holiday accommodation. We still live on site, so we can welcome new arrivals, and sort out any concerns or problems guests may have.
What makes this property unique
You can enjoy the countryside from your own door step. Private hot tubs to massage away everyday stresses. Car parking close to accommodation. Shared heated swimming pool to exercise in or just relax on the terraces. 4 lodges dog friendly. Walk your dogs down the quiet country lane outside the cottage. Close to Cheddar Gorge, Longleat Safari Park and the coast.
