About this property

Casa das Batatas, Lugar do Outeiro, Amarante

Rustic house with a small garden and a patio located in a village with almost no inhabitants.
The house was once a granary where potatoes were stored, in addition to the hay.
It consists of the ground floor where the bedroom and the bathroom are accessed from the garden, and the first floor consists of a living room with a sofa bed, and a kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, coffee machine, microwave and other kitchen utensils.
Capacity for 4 people and animals are welcome.
Quiet and refreshing place with access to a tank used as a pool, you can also walk around the surrounding hills, or even the farm itself.

Owner speaks English and Spanish. Please contact us preferably by email.

Quiet self contained rustic accommodation. Friendly and accodating hosts who presented us with Cherry Liquor on arrival. Our hosts specially went shopping for an electric kettle for their English guests. Handy location for visiting the beautiful Douro valley and surrounding area.

Adorei.. Um sítio fabuloso pra descansar. Com um campo e parte de monte super sossegados. O meu filho adorou. O meu cachorro nem se fala pois conheceu alguns amigos, o Zé, o Pantufas e o Pintas. Pessoas muito humildes, um obrigado á D.Alice da mercearia e á sua vizinha. A D.lurdes e o marido pessoas espetaculares, sempre á disposição. Assim como a D.carla que é muito simpática. belle petite maison aux pommes de terre

A part une arrivée un peu tardive due à la difficulté à trouver la maison, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympathiques et le lieu est calme et reposant. Un grand terrain apprécié aussi par notre petite chienne entoure la maison. La ville la plus proche, Amarante, n'est qu'à 12 kms et est très agréable à visiter, traversée par une belle rivière, le rio Taméga. On y trouve également de très bonnes pâtisseries et un bon vin: le Vinho Verde. En conclusion: belle région à découvrir, et habitants vraiment très sympas.

Gostámos muito da estadia que tivemos na casa. A Dona Lurdes é muito simpática e prestável. O local é muito calmo, mesmo bom para descansar. Também há muito terreno onde se pode passear o cão, o que para nós foi muito bom.
