Thank you so much, Michelle, for taking the time to share your experience — we’re really glad you enjoyed your week at the villa and that the outdoor spaces, pool area, and the comfort of the beds made it a relaxing stay for your family. We also appreciate you highlighting the areas that need attention. A few things weren’t working during your visit, and we’re sorry for that — those items have now been logged with our maintenance team so they’re properly resolved. Regarding the countryside track leading up to the villa: the residents’ group for that stretch has recently combined forces to lobby the local council for a more permanent fix rather than the usual patch‑and‑repair approach (which, as you noticed, never lasts long). We’re hopeful this will finally lead to a proper resurfacing. The metal drainage strip around the pool should never have been popping up — apologies that it caused you an injury. We’ll have that fully secured so it doesn’t happen again. This is also our first season using an external cleaning company, and there have been a few teething issues, including the mix‑up with your checkout time. We’re sorry the cleaners arrived early, and we’re tightening up communication so that doesn’t happen again. Thank you again for your kind words about Roy — he’ll be delighted to hear them — and for the thoughtful feedback. We’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope we can welcome you back in the future.

Hey Si, thanks for your review. We installed a new mesh network last year to give better wifi coverage poolside, and the small white cylinder that is outside on the main terrace next to the house needs to be plugged in at all times. Maybe if that was unplugged you were getting poor coverage?
