"Little Willows" Widemouth Bay, Sea and headland views *Indoor Swimming Pool*

Little Willows sits nestled in the vast 13 acres of countryside in Widemouth Bay Holiday Village, overlooking the award winning and Blue Flag rated surfing beach of Widemouth Bay. One of Cornwall's outstanding beaches with its vast expanse of sand, safe bathing and wonderful surfing.

The site is peaceful and quiet with the bungalows set amongst well kept lawns and trees. Situated on a small family run site, the bungalow has its own private sea-view patio area with garden furniture and a large shared lawned area in front with further seating. Inside is a home from home feel, with high spec kitchen, and a spacious open plan living and dining area. Bedrooms offer comfortable beds and generous storage space. Please note: towels are not provided.

During the main holiday season (Apr 1st - Sept 30st) on-site facilities include indoor swimming pool, bar with pool tables, Sky sports TV, games room and light family entertainment (main school holidays only) in the concert room. Tennis court and children's play area, dog walk and car park are open all year round.

The unspoilt traditional seaside town of Bude is just a short 7 min drive away with its lovely beaches, shops, walks etc - there is something for everyone.


A Little About The Area
Widemouth Bay is a very long open bay with a varied and interesting beach. At the more northerly end of Widemouth there is a large sandy area that becomes more exposed has the tide drops, and to either side of this area the sand gives way to some amazing rock formations. The beach is ideal for families and offers a variety of seaside activities. Whether you wish to swim, sunbathe, surf, hunt for marine life in the hundreds of rock pools or just comb the beach for that personal memento, Widemouth offers all this and more. The sun is on the beach almost all of the day with the exception of very early in the morning and the sunsets here are fabulous.

Bude is located on the north Cornwall coast and offers a diverse variety of things to do. Bude is a well established holiday resort with the lovely sandy beach at Summerleaze, to the well served town centre. There are canal walks or boating to enjoy. Bude has excellent Golf links, tennis courts and all other manner of recreational pursuits. Summerleaze beach has a large bathing pool for the non sea lovers and you can enjoy the view from many of the vantage points along the cliff path to Crooklets or south towards Widemouth Bay. Crooklets beach is located to the north of Summerleaze beach and is easily found by either walking north along the coast path for about 7 minutes or if you are in a car then if you pass through the centre of Bude and head out of the one way system at the top of Bude town centre, Crooklets is approximately 500 metres away.

Lovely short break by the sea

Good location in the site with fantastic views, especially of sunset. House had everything you needed and comfortable. Swimming pool fantastic and nice on site restaurant. Would definitely return.

Great location for beaches

Good communication from Clare and the staff on site were really helpful. Very close to a dog friendly beach with lots of other good beaches near by. Also some nice walks in the area

Very clean, well stocked, wonderful sea veiw. The site itself is ckean and tidy. The new pool and bar are great. Walking distance to dog friendly beach and nice pub and restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay.

A very pleasant holiday hub

A great location to use as a base as you explore Cornwall. Close to Widemouth Bay and walking distance to Widemouth Manor, with a friendly bar onsite, it has sufficient facilities for a relaxing stay. I would recommend taking a torch for late night strolls, a camera for the amazing sunsets, and don't forget your bag of pound coins for the meter. A ver pleasant stay.

Beautiful view

We had a lovely stay at Widemouth Bay chalet very clean and tidy. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side so accommodation took alot to heat and being a coin meter had to keep an eye on that. The girls were upset pool was closed and owners not sure when that will reopen. Restaurant on site was good and you can get take aways too. The views from chalet was lovely and the summer it would be amazing!

Lovely stay

It was the cleanest holiday appartment we ever had. So nicely decorated that it felt like a home. We could rest so well here and slept like a log at night. It was really quiet. The bar in the holiday park has a stunning view and the indoor pool is small and very nice. Everybody was very friendly. We misunderstood the pictures and thought you could see the bay while siiting in the living room/on the terrace. For that you have to walk to the bar, which is very close. So no big deal. It was a great holiday.

Well worth a stay

Lovely clean well equipped property with sea views on a quiet site. Note the electric meter only takes old pound coins so make sure you take plenty as there is a humidifier on all the time and if you want hot water from immersion it eats it - we just boiled the kettle as there is an electric shower. Lounge diner nice and spacious but bedrooms a bit snug especially the twin although beds very comfy. If there are 2 of you you can't get out of bed at the same time and very little room to dress so if you need help dressing you will have to go in the lounge ( husband has Alzheimer's and needs dressing so the lack of space wasn't ideal but that is just our own situation). Daughter was in double room and also found it on the small side but comfy Plenty of nice eating places Close by and lovely beaches.

Perfekter Urlaub in Little Willows

Sehr schön gelegener Bungalow in einer kleinen Feriensiedlung über der Widemouthbay, mit einem der wenigen großen Sandstrände im Cornwall. Little Willow ist sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Blick aufs Meer inclusive wunderbaren Sonnernuntergängen. Weg zum Meer/Beach am besten mit dem Auto (3 Minuten). Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Bude, Launceston, Altarnun, Boscastle, Tintagel, Bodmin und Bodmin Moor. Besonders zu empfehlen: Wanderung von Boscastle Harbour nach Tintagel. Besuch Minions mit alten Zinnminen und den prähistorischen Steinkreisen. Einziges Manko: Der Pool in der Ferienanlage ist bis zum nächsten Jahr geschlossen. Herzlichen Dank an Clare für die Hilfe und den Cream Tea!

Couldn't be better

We had a 7 might stay from11th September. We can't fault the property at all and the accessories in the kitchen and rooms make it a home from home. Nice quite location but still handy for Bude, local beaches and coastal walks. Our host had a cream tea waiting on our arrival, a lovely touch. Communication was first class and we can only thank both our host for making our holiday as easy as possible. Thank you

I was pleasantly surprised at the location and the standard of the bungalow. We have stayed in many places where pots and pans, plates cutlery were just not up to much yet everything was fantastic here and would recommend to all to book and enjoy

Park situation and weather!

Wonderful chalet with all mod cons. 2nd bedroom could do with some heating - fan heater not working and does not have a radiator like Bedroom 1. Early break due to Covid and the weather was not kind. However, it would certainly be worth than one visit.

What a great place to stay location was on top of hill over looking the total bay which was in walking distance. Comms with owner great came back quickly to query’s. Nice and clean and what a pleasure to find the beds were very comfortable too. Only one thing needs refining the shower water flow was slow but water was nice and hot. Will definitely book again

What a beautiful place in such a beautiful spot,I must say that we had a lovely stay in this beautiful 2 bed bungalow,very clean an such a home feeling, absolutely gorgeous, Claire the owner she's such a sweetheart,she was so helpful,she did make sure we do settle very good in the house and she make sure we have everything we need and even more. We stayed for 5 days we were able to take our dog with us,the view on this place is beautiful,so many places that you must visit as well in the area,and the ocean is so close. Thank you Claire for our lovely stay we did enjoy it very much, will definitely be coming back,I'll tell all my family and friends . Highly recommended,if you really want to go in holiday in Cornwall and you need a place that is cosy and welcoming and just peaceful,this is the one,you really need to check this place out. My father and I purchased Little Willows back in 2007. It has been a haven for us and our wider family, and we do hope it is for you too. We are invested in continually improving the home-from-home feel, and we hope you will feel instantly relaxed when you arrive knowing that we have thought of everything possible (hopefully!) that will make your stay a very comfortable one.

Why they chose this property

Little Willows has a cosy, home from home feel. We like our guests to walk in and instantly feel at home, many of our visitors have said they have felt it so much they don't want to go back to their own! One thing we are very invested in is making sure the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook a proper meal. We even have an electric meat carving knife on offer, and why not wake up to a lovely cup of freshly brewed filter coffee in the morning? If there is anything not there, please let us know and we will try and add this in for your next visit.

What makes this property unique

The views are spectacular from the bungalow and the village. You will find lots of lovely spots to sit and watch a sunset over Widemouth, including your very own patio.
