-SEA BISCUIT COTTAGE-- -is located RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE OCEAN at Mile post 17.5 on the Beach Road in lovely South Nags Head.

SLEEPING: Bed sizes: 2 Kings, 3 Queens, 2 sets of twin bunk beds, 2 sets of Full bunk beds, 2 Queen Sofa Bed * SLEEPS UP TO 26 People

This cottage has everything to make your visit memorable!
Just imagine....A golden sandy beach kissed by the Atlantic Ocean is just steps from your spacious deck!

This house is equipped with an Elevator so you don't have to maneuver flights of steps. The elevator goes to all 3 floors. To access the elevator you have to go outside onto the front decks. The elevator does not access the inside of the house.

You will have fantastic Ocean Views from the front decks as well as a beautiful views of the Hatteras National Seashore Sanctuary from the back. (Keep your eyes open for grazing deer.)

A wonderful way to start your day is to enjoy your breakfast on the deck while watching the ocean and basking in the warm Outer Banks sunshine!

It's only a short walk to the beach on our Private Beach Access.

Enjoy relaxing around your private 12 x 24 Swimming Pool.

There will be No Rainy Day Blues here!
The Game room has a Pool Table, Poker/Gaming table, Multiple board games, TV & DVD Player and a Kitchen.

The Theater room is equipped with a 50" Smart TV, a Blu Ray player, a Popcorn popper, Mini Refrigerator, and Comfortable Stadium Seating.

2 fully equipped kitchens make dinner time no problem. with Two (2) refrigerators, a Crockpot, Blender, an air fryer, Mixer, & Seafood Steamer pot, is all you need to keep your hungry family happy.

Have some family time in the large great room area or have some private viewing on one of the many Smart TVs located throughout the house.

There are two laundry areas two washers and two dryers.

Family Beach Week

Property as advertised. Great location just a little out of the busiest part of the beach, but close to everything. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Easily accommodated hour eight adults and seven kids with plenty of extra room. The two kitchens were a huge Plus. The Wi-Fi dropped out a few times but was easily corrected by restarting the router as recommended. Check in was easy and communication was good. Would definitely recommend for larger groups and would definitely stay again.

This was the cleanest house that I have ever rented!!! Love the location and most everything about it. Not a complaint, just calling attention to some of the posts on the decks are very loose and the WiFi was very slow! As we were packing to leave a rain storm started and put us in a scrabble, so if anything got left undone, I do apologize!! Thank you so much, Wendy

We had 4 families doing a lil family reunion trip to the beach and this place was awesome! Plenty of rooms and gathering spaces! Easy beach access and great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to go again.

Very nice location

Everything was good . Just hope they get a bigger refrigerator when this one needs replacing. Ice machine had its moments , but started working again . Excellent location for a short walk to the beach. Everyone enjoyed themselves and want to do it again

Wonderful house!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sea Biscuit!! The house had more than enough room to accommodate us and the location was perfect. The kitchens had everything we could have needed and the pool was a huge hit!! Communications with property management was a breeze, they responded to every inquiry immediately. We look forward to staying at this wonderful rental again in the future.

This wasn’t a awful property, but it definitely needs remodeling and repairs!! Proximity to the beach was good. Keyless entry made for easy check in and check out was easy as well.

Excellent vacation experience

We had a delightful experience staying at this property. The location was very convenient, just on the other side of the bridge and the nearest beach access just across the street.. The house itself was well furnished, with a modern kitchen and bathroom spaces and plenty of eating and relaxing areas. The bedrooms were larger than we expected from the pictures. Management was great; my 3 year old got his car stuck in the pool table, and they came out and dislodged it on a Friday evening without fuss. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for big family

Our family visited and loved every moment of it. The pool table was a huge hit as well as the nice pool. The cottage is large enough for of us to have our own bedroom. I would recommend it to anyone. It's just a short walk to the beach as well with a private beach access and the ocean front was awesome. Not very crowded near the private exit. The elevator was a tremendous help with the coolers and groceries.

Huge house with lots of beds!

This was the perfect property for lots of guests. There were several bunk beds and fun places for the kids. I wish there had been at least one roll of paper in the bathrooms to start out though. Very frustrating coming in from out of town with 3 kids and expecting to be able to use the restroom but had to go buy toilet paper first. Otherwise, fun stay.

Our Founder, Dr. Sarah Forbes passed away in 2011. She was a compassionate physician, dedicated to her patients becoming Norfolk General’s first female chief resident of OB/GYN.
In 1958, she became the first female physician to open a private OB/GYN practice in Newport News, VA.
Dr. Forbes was the first woman to be selected to the board, and the first female president, of the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, where she was honored as a member of the “Wall of Fame” – the first and only woman to be so honored in the club’s 65-year history.

Sarah was often honored for her contributions to the organizations she served, and the community she loved.
Among her many awards were the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities’ Humanitarian Award in 2007, and the Medallion Award which is the highest recognition presented by The Boys and Girls Club of America to volunteers.

She served as president of several community organizations that include the Virginia Peninsula Academy of Medicine, the Newport News Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, and the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Her generosity benefited many organizations, including the Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Family Planning Council, First Baptist Church of Newport News, the Peninsula SPCA, Mariners’ Museum, Riverside Hospital, and Christopher Newport University.

We are continuing Dr. Forbes’ Legacy
All of our vacation homes are owned by Sarah E. Forbes MD, Trust which continues her legacy by using our profits to make regular donations to the charities she loved.
We take care of the houses like she would have wanted.
