Yool Caanal Condominiums is a long time favorite, located on a nice stretch of Half Moon Bay!

Yool Caanal offers simple comfortable accommodations with fantastic views of Half Moon Bay. Each unit features long beach side terraces perfect for looking out over the bay and blue Caribbean waters. 

The units consist of a well equipped kitchen, living and dining area. 

-The master bedroom is furnished with king bed. 
- The second bedroom with two single beds. 

Both bedrooms have recently renovated private bathrooms. The master bathroom is ensuite, and the guest bathroom is right next to the guest bedroom. AC in bedrooms only.

You will find excellent snorkeling just out of front of your unit in Half Moon Bay. Because Yool Caanal sits on a quiet stretch of Half Moon Bay it is a great place to watch the sea turtles come out of the ocean during the nesting season. 

To us, Yool Caanal offers what it is that has made Akumal one of the last best places. A quiet easy comfort that will put a smile on your face for no reason at all, Enjoy!

Wonderful condo on the beach

This was the perfect condo, on the beach, in a beautiful area. The half moon bay is charming and quiet. The cleaners, security, and property management team were kind and helpful.

Amazing location right on the beach with great views, nice snorkling and a real holiday feel. The children and is have enjoyed every minute. It is close to the turtle snorkling bay and the sites of Tulum and Coba can be easily reached. The whole area is very relaxed and welcoming. The house itself is provided with all one needs, and the housekeeping service is a huge plus. We only wish we stayed longer.

Lovely condo on the beach. Very reliable and throughout housekeeping. On the north end of Half moon bay so the beach collects very little sargassum which made snorkeling off the beach easy the entire trip.

Memories on the Mayan Riviera

We were delighted by the size of the condo and charmed by the many personal touches the owner made, such as the beautiful dishes and artwork. The kitchen was well equipped for making many meals, the two balconies were used, depending on whether we were seeking sun or shade. We shared many games around the dining room table. We shall remember this vacation and perfect location for years to come.

Our Stay May 14th - May 21st

Great Location/Stay. Everything worked out nicely. Had couple of situations which the property manager took take of promptly!! Will definitely recommend to friends/family and look forward to coming back in future. Sargassium was an issue but nothing to do with the property although they tried to clean up as much as possible. Thank- you!

Our 5 day stay at the Yool Caanal Condo was Excellent! The cleanliness, location and the view were fantastic. When we had questions or issues the manager was on top of it immediately and made sure we were satisfied. Cleaning services were great!There are 3 restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well as 2-3 mini grocery stores. I would recommend a stop on your way from the airport to a regular grocery store if you’re wanting to cook meals while you’re there since there isn’t one we found close by at all.There are snorkeling facilities within 8 minute Walk. It’s a quiet community but it has so many great activities to explore! We Will go Again

Only downside was seeing tourists out walking in the bay then seeing the damage they did to the small corals growing in the shallows perhaps every property should include a message about protecting the ecosystem in their confirmation/welcome message.

The location is perfect, three doors down from the best restaurant (La Lunita), at the end of the bay with little to no saragassum and easy access to fantastic snorkeling which we did twice a day. Only sad thing was seeing so many people walking in the ocean as the coral starts quite close to shore.

This is also a great spot for people who enjoy snorkeling- walking distance to Yalku, right on the shore of Half Moon Bay, not far from the Akumal turtle bay, and driving distance to many cenotes. Very pleasant living and dining areas and highly usable kitchen, with terrific daily cleaning service (gracias, Mirna!!). Walking distance to breakfast cafe and restaurants. We also highly recommend the massage therapist at Hare Krishna Spa- he works wonders on backs and necks sore from snorkeling. Other useful clarification: check in and check out is at reception of Nahil Condo next door.

This is the calmer side of the Bay and the snorkeling is fantastic. The condo is close to easy water access. The TV was upgraded this year and is a smart TV with Netflix. The ground keeping and housekeeping staff are very friendly and do a wonderful job. Booking through Akumal direct has always been very easy and professional. While I was there and issue arose. I contacted my rental agent Marsha, with Akumal Direct, and she solved the problem within the hour. I have used many rental agencies throughout the world, Akumal direct has been the most caring and accommodating.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We brought our 7 year old and had a wonderful week vacation. The condo was about 1 hr 15 from the Cancun airport. Check in/out was easy by getting/giving the key to the maintainance man (very kind). He didn't speak English but our high school level Spanish did perfectly fine to communicate. Housekeeping cleaned daily. She was also very nice. Beautiful view from condo of the ocean. From here we visited and love the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary (loved it), Coba Mayan ruins (awesome-get a guide and they'll bike you through and share great info), Tulum, local cenotes, snorkled locally with the sea turtels/rays with a guide and also enjoy the beach access on property. The private beach is shared with the 4 units and is small but adequate for quick access. the shore and waters have a lot of rocks so water shoes are a must.

We might not have needed it for our 3 night stay, but was a very nice touch. they responded quickly to one maintenance issue after our arrival. Beach is clean and their maintenance people do great job of dealing with seaweed every day. Had AC which we used at night. Lots of windows with screens and light. We had everything we needed there. and we'll be back hopefully some day. few small things: get shutter doors on master. Get some comfortable deck chairs in addition to table chairs (such as adirondack type of thing); the deck had possibility of being fabulous, but without those comfy chairs it wasn't as inviting as it could be. Replace screen door on deck.
