About this property

Delightful gite in La Graffeuille with exclusive use of swimming pool & hot tub

Gite la Graffeuille and the owners' house sit in an acre of lovely gardens. The gite is separate and securely fenced off from the main house, with the half an acre of garden, plus the swimming pool ( with safety alarm), being exclusive to the gite guests (open May to October) The wood-fired hot tub is available all year, and is also exclusive to you.
This 2 bedroom, recently- refurbished, gite sleeps 5.
There is a spacious and well-equipped kitchen/ dining room, including a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee- maker and high chair. A washing-machine, ironing board and iron are available on request. The comfortable sitting room has a stunning view through triple patio doors. There is English and French TV, DVD player, CD player, Wifi, and a selection of DVDs and games. The shower room/WC has a walk-in shower, illuminated sink unit, and heated towel rail. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms, the first has a double bed and cot. It leads on to a balcony, with seating for 2 people, overlooking the pool, and the views are amazing. The second bedroom has 3 single beds. All the rooms are heated by electric wall heaters in the winter, and fans are provided in both bedrooms in the summer.
There swimming pool is 8x4 metres, with a constant depth of 1.32 metres (no deep-end)The pool is fitted with a safety alarm and is surrounded by a large deck area, which offers 5 sun loungers, a table with 6 chairs, a parasol, and BBQ. There is an adult double swing in the shade of the trees, a children's swing and boule and badminton can be played on the lawn. There is off-road parking for 2 cars.
Please note smoking is not permitted in the gite.
We welcome well-behaved pets.

The giite wiith the hottub en swimmingpool is perfect .the great garden was perfect for our dog to play in it ! Supermakt Lidl in 15 min .The gite has everything you need , kitchen very good with oven refregerator en enough equipment .We will come back for sure ! Superb Holiday

The most relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Karen and Richard were perfect hosts making sure everything was okay. Always ready with advice and directions of places to go. What a beautiful place

Greeting from Karen & Richard was so nice. A lovely couple who presented the property so very well. The gardens were immaculate and brilliant for the kids and our dog. We had a fantastic relaxing week. Visiting a few beautiful chateau’s. Great location just a few miles from the motorway, in the fantastic French country side. So access to the surrounding towns and villages are easy.

Absolutely amazing

Fantastic property, stayed for one week wished we could of stayed for longer! Hosts are great and super helpful. The gite is so well equipped and one of the most comfortable gites we have stayed in. The pool are was totally private and well cared for, outside eating space and BBQ perfect for some family time. Thanks both for a great week, hopefully we will be back some time soon. Perfect!

We had a wonderful week at La Graffeuille and would have been very happy to stay another week. It is such a special place with everthing that a family could need for a holiday. We loved it all - pool, decking area, large garden (fully fenced - perfect for furry friends!), hot tub, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely balcony for morning coffee! Richard and Karen were so friendly and all communication was clear and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Gite in a beautiful part of France

Richard and Karen were great hosts and equally inviting were their three beautiful dogs. They couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was a problem. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic - very relaxing after a long day out. The gite itself was well equipped and perfectly sized, surrounded by peaceful French Countryside. A perfect respite but also well placed for many trips out, there was just not enough time today everything. We would love to return.

Einer der schönsten Urlaube überhaupt

Wir wurden sehr warmherzig von Karen und Richard empfangen! Die beiden sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Sie sind extrem hilfsbereit, sehr diskret und versorgen einen mit jeder Menge Informationen für Aktivitäten! Die drei "flat coated retriever" wachsen einem sofort ans Herz. Wunderbare und sehr freundliche Tiere! Sehr für Kinder geeignet - die beiden Anwesen sind durch einen Zaun getrennt. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, der Pool immer in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Ausstattung des Hauses und des Pools ist sehr gut und sehr durchdacht! Wir haben uns herzlich willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Gegend ist fantastisch - in Meuzac gibt es eine super Bäckerei und in Lubersac einen sehr gut sortierten Super U. Man ist sehr schnell auf der A20 und kommt gut in alle Richtungen. Wir können das Haus und die Gastgeber wärmstens empfehlen! Karen und Richard sind uns ans Herz gewachsen - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Danke für alles!

Très belle maison avec grand jardin et piscine parfaite pour se reposer

La maison est très bien équipée avec tout ce qu'il faut. Il y a un grand et beau jardin bien entretenu. La piscine est grande et bien exposée avec le soleil tout l'après-midi. Il y a aussi tout le confort avec transats et parasols. On peut bien profiter des longues soirées d'été à l'extérieur. Karen et Richard sont très accueillants et se rendent disponibles si besoin. Fabulous stay

Well appointed modern gite located in lovely quiet location. Amazing outdoor space and facilities. Great for walks our dogs were in their element. Good location for exploring the surrounding villages Fab Michelin restaurant in the village. Karen and Richard were welcoming and helpful hosts throughout our stay. If you are looking for a gem to relax in and enjoy the countryside we would recommend.

Amazing retreat with wonderful hosts!

My friend and I booked this for 6 nights and were super impressed with how immaculately the cottage/gite was kept. Karen and Richard were wonderful hosts, along with their two lovely dogs. The location is excellent if you like the quiet countryside and sweeping green hillside (which was perfect for our much needed holiday). We recommend this place highly.

AMAZING

Nous avons passé un séjour génial dans un écrin de verdure et de tranquillité, tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour nous ressourcer en famille. Le lâcher prise était total. Le gîte est très bien tenu, aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et nous ont offert de belles prestations. A recommander bien évidemment.

We are Karen and Richard Banks, a couple from Monmouth, South Wales, who now live permanently in France. Karen was a Veterinary Nurse and Richard was a lorry driver. We live with our 3 large, friendly Flatcoated Retrievers, and 2 cats.

Why they chose this property

We are located in the in the North-west corner of Correze, in department 19, of the Limousin. We drove through this area when travelling to the Midi-Pyrenees to view houses, and loved it so much that we decided to settle here. The Limousin is famous for its beautiful countryside and abundance of lakes.

What makes this property unique

As soon as we saw La Graffeuille, we fell in love with the pretty house and blue shutters, and the gite was ripe for renovation. We live in a tranquil, rural community, and it has such a relaxing quality. The views are amazing, and there are all amenities nearby, plenty to do and interesting places to visit. Or just sit and relax at the pool!! We are motorbike-friendly. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
