Spacious, warm and well decorated property, in a beautiful setting. Abundance of games to play, and food staples in the kitchen which we were welcomed to eat. Property manager was lovely, and incredibly welcoming. A brilliant holiday, and we were very lucky to have the snow fall just before we arrived. The bus which leaves from the village was very useful for accessing other areas of the region.

Traumhaft

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Der Gastgeber ist zwar nicht vor Ort gewesen, aber es wurde alles toll organisiert. Die Nachbarin hat uns durch das Haus geführt und war immer bei Rückfragen erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben gewesen und die Lage auf ca. 1500m Höhe war einfach nur traumhaft. Absolut empfehlenswert, gerne jederzeit wieder.

toller Kurzaufenthalt

Sehr schönes Haus, sehr geräumig und gemütlich ausgestattet. Die An- und Abreise hat sehr gut geklappt und die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich. Wir, 7 Personen mit Hunden, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem schönen grosszügigen Ferienhaus

Wir waren Mitte März in Wergenstein in haben den Aufenthalt in diesem grossen schön restaurierten schweizer Bauernhof sehr genossen, viel Platz, schöne Wärme durch den Specksteinofen und wunderschöne Winterstimmung. Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Beautiful house in a charming village

We stayed here as 5 adults for a work retreat and had a great time! the property had everything we needed: two large dining tables, so we could work at one and dine at the other; a well-equipped kitchen to prepare all the meals we wanted; a comfortable living area with fireplace; a terrace with a large table for lunches in the sun; ample windows to enjoy sunrise and then bright sunlight all day. The village is quaint and has instant access to sledding (sleds are in the garage), snowshoe (the local hotel has 6 pairs available to rent), and ski touring routes. Simon was excellent to communicate with and the housekeeper Jolanda made check-in and out very smooth. Would certainly look to stay again in summer, as there seems to be so much more to explore!

Great Mountain Hideaway

Very pleasant stay in Wergenstein; we (family of 5) had a great summer week. If you are looking for an authentic old Swiss farmhouse with a surprisingly modern part in the back, this is a very good place to stay. Very well-equipped. Simon (Host) and Jolanda (caretaker) are nice and helpful!

Wunderbar

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Hütte ist sehr geräumig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch als grosse Gruppe sind wir bestens untergekommen und haben uns alle wohl gefühlt. Ausserdem waren Ankunft und Abreise sehr unkompiziert und die Kommunikation sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Great spacious house, would recommend to anyone

We had a great holiday in this house with a family of 6 during the summer holidays. Although the weather was not ideal, the house provided so much space we could also spend good quality time inside when needed. All the amenities are available and you can order fresh bread from the nearby hotel. From the house you can do all kinds of activities; go even further up and walk to up to 3000 meters of go down and visit towns in the valley (great shopping at Chur, only 40 minutes away) or go swimming in the beautiful lakes in this area. The local caretaker is also very nice and helpful as well as the communications with the owner. Would recommend to anyone, especially large families or groups.
