This Apartment is a gem, everything is freshly painted and delicate. Furniture and equipment is of high quality and were mostly purchased in 2015/2018. New kitchen and beds in 2018. The livingroom and all bedrooms have air-conditioning. It is located at Playa de la Lucera, Calahonda, Close to everything. Here there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room with open kitchen. Privat terrace with large dining table (can sit 8 +), large corner sofa, delicious hammock, deck chairs and sun loungers.
FACILITIES A weekly maid service with change of linen and towels is included. However, clients are required to bring their own pool/beach towels. Our house is managed by a professional maintenance company with bilingual staff. They provide a 24 hour emergency service. We can arrange airport transfers, car hire, golf, tennis, restaurant bookings, tours, etc.
SWIMMING POOL Located in the lawned gardens below the complex adjacent to the beach is the swimming pool. A children's shallow area is set with the main pool. Sun beds and parasols are not provided by the community but all the apartment have their own.
SHOPPING A 10 minute walk gives you access to the large El Zoco and Riviera shopping complex's , where there’s excellent supermarkets offering fresh fish, meat and bread counters. If you prefer to shop at the market there is one in La Cala (10 minutes away by car) every Wednesday and Saturday and another across the road at Calypos every Thursday. During the summer season the shops all open on Sunday but outside that time you will need to use the mini shops at the petrol stations (one across the road) and the OpenCor supermarket at Riviera.
EATING OUT Really you are spoilt for choice; locally just across from the complex is a parade of restaurants offering Spanish, Italian, English food all serving a variety of food at great value. Across at the El Zoco complex is an even larger choice of restaurants and bars. Then of course there are the beach bars one is on the door step but there are lots of others too many to mention here and they are all good - try the paella its what this area is famous for.
BEACH A short stroll across the gardens takes you via a private gate onto the beach here there are both sandy and rocky sections to suite both children and sunbathers alike. Slightly further afield is Puerto Cabopino which is ideal for families as the beach is more like a UK one where you are able to wade in some distance before it gets too deep. Here you can either set up your own spot or stroll along to one of the Chiringitos which have sun beds ready laid out for you.
SPORTS Calahonda has its own sports complex –Club del Sol – which is equipped with 12 tennis courts, 4 paddle courts, 4 squash courts and a 450m2 gym. Water Sports – from Pedalo’s to Hobicats and Water Skiing to Jet Skis all are provided by licensed operators. Tennis - can be found at the Don Carlos hotel in Elviria, Club Royal Tennis in El Rosario and Club del Sol in Calahonda. Golf - Calahonda has its own par 3 - 9 hole course at La Siesta. For the more serious golfer the Costa del Sol boasts over 30 courses set in stunning locations. Snow Skiing - The Sierra Nevada ski resort is about 2 hours from us and the season runs from December into May. All equipment can be hired once you get there all you need is some warm clothes. Adventura Amazonia is a new tree top theme park opened this year in Elviria the first of its kind in Spain and caters for all the family definitely worth a visit during your stay.
OUT & ABOUT During your stay we recommend that you head for the rustic Andalucía countryside and visit some of the Pueblos Blanco’s (white villages), perched on the top of hills with breath-taking views and stunning scenery. The Moorish city of Ronda, the caves at Nerja and the Alhambra located in the city of Granada are all worth a visit, not to mention Gibraltar and across the straights to Morocco. There are so many activities available certainly enough to keep everyone happy. To keep life simple you can book day trips, and entry tickets from our Management company office located in Elviria.
The new promenade along the ocean goes all the way to La Cala, where you can enjoy the day with a stop at one of the small restaurants. Buses run all day in direction Marbella and Fuengirola, or you can cross the street and find Restaurants and food shops in the immediate vicinity.

We had an excellent stay at Anne's apartment and she was an excellent host. This residence was very well equipped making our stay that much more enjoyable. The views were also fantastic. I would not hesitate to book again.

Stayed at property for 10 days. Spacious rooms and well equipped. Large terrace with benefit of all day sunshine. Easy access to beach and walkway following the coast to La Cala in one direction and Cabopino in the other.
Do not hesitate to book this apartment. Everything about is excellent and 5 star. Very well equipped, it has everything.

Wonderful post Xmas break
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was exactly as described on the web site, clean and well maintained. Casa Care the owners local Manages were very good throughout the booking process and we available over the holiday period should we have needed them.
WE enjoyed it some much we will be booking again for half term.

Really pleased with this apartment, everything you could need is available. Really lovely and so well equipped. The complex is well maintained.
You must collect apartment key in La cala, which is fine but just didn’t know till a few days before going.
Management were able to arrange our transfer which was so handy.
We spent 3 weeks over Christmas in this nice apartment in Calahonda. The apartment is situated in a private community direct by the sea with easy access to the beach walk. Layout and size of the apartment are ideal for 6 adults. Terrace and the views from living-room and master bedroom are magnificent. You have everything you could possibly need for your holiday in this apartment and the owner even installed a handrail for the stairs for easier access. The only negative about the place is the age of the community (not quite so fresh as it probably used to be) and access with car. Direction Marbella you have to go to Riviera to turn and when you come from Malaga you have to go to Calahonda to turn. And this street (A7) is very busy! The swimming pool is not heated (we knew that) and was actually closed during our stay. So all together, the apartment is absolutely superb but the surroundings not so.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have rented a few flats by now, but this one has the best equipped kitchen of all and used it a couple of times for cooking in the evening. Overall, the flat is very well equipped. The terrace is very large and invites you to relax in the evening. The large TV including Apple TV is nice to have, but was not needed by us. At first we thought the nearby motorway would be annoying, but it is almost not to hear. The close restaurants were all very good and reasonably priced. The communication with the host and also with the agency was very good and if we had a problem it was solved quickly - even in our absence. The only disadvantage of the location of the flat could be the beach, which is directly next to the complex. There are many rocks in the sea here, so it is difficult to swim directly in front of the complex. However, if you walk a few metres further, you will find some spots where this is possible. Really recommendable, however, are the beaches Playa de Cabopino, Playa La Cala or the beaches in Fuengirola, which we visited by car. All in all, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything about Anne’s place is fabulous. The place is very cozy with EVERYTHING you might need during your vacation. Location is superb. Property management is easy to get ahold of and very quick on answering all the questions you might have. We had fantastic stay! Will recommend and try to come back for more😊

Appartement parfait avec un équipement comme à la maison. La climatisation de tout l’appartement n’est pas un luxe. Magnifique terrasse avec vue sur mer. Le seul petit reproche c’est la proximité de la route à 4 voies qui est fortement passante et gênant dans la chambre avec les lits simple. Supermarché à 10 minutes à pied et restaurants variés à 5 minutes à pied à vers le Doña Lola ou en bord de plage.

I can safely recommend this apartment. It is very well located near the sea and pool. There are several good restaurants nearby. Plenty of space for 2 families. Large terrace with good furniture. Kitchen with everything you need for your own household.

Perfect location
We spent a week in this villa beginning of October. Having never been in the area it was a little confusing finding the lock box for keys. A suggestion would be to put in an electronic lock on the door. The villa was on the top floor and we had wonderful sea views. The living area was spacious and nicely furnished. Our 3 year old granddaughter loved that the TV had Netflix so she could watch her shows. Our favourite area was sitting out on the spacious terrace.
Located right on the beach our favourite activity was walking the boardwalk which starts about 100 meters from the property. There were a large cluster of restaurants about. 10minutes walk from the villa and two larger supermarkets about the same distance.

We fall in love with this apartment at once we enter the it. It is bright and cheerful with stunning views and large terrace. We love this white buildings in Andalucían style. The area is lovely planted and beautifully maintained. The pool area is located right by the sea and it is easy to take a bath in the sea even if you are lying by the pool.
