Comfortable house, great views

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in this spacious and comfortable house which enjoys spectacular views over the bay of Le Lavandou. The house is well equipped and has two large terraces on which to relax and enjoy the sunshine. A short walk takes you down into the centre of Le Lavandou (but beware the return journey is steep!). The only little niggles were that no bedlinen was provided, information was a little lacking and we had to post the keys back at the end of our stay (10 euros). All in all, though, we had a great time and would thoroughly recommend this property which represents excellent value for money.

A great place to stay

The view over Le Lavandou and the sea is superb, it was lovely to look over the bay from the bathroom. We stayed in winter and the house was very warm with programmable heaters. The house is well furnished with high quality fittings and original oil paintings including two electric recliners, a large screen TV, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and has a washer dryer which is very useful in cold weather. The kitchen had a lot of useful utensils for preparing food. The beds were large and comfortable and you can raise the backs electrically. There is no traffic going by as this is a private gated development. Raymond the owner gave very detailed instructions on getting to the house and answered our questions very helpfully. Le Lavandou is a good base for accessing the coast east along to Cavaliere-sur-Mer and to Toulon in the west. Points to note: the house is the lower ‚step‘ to another house up the hill, we heard no noise from this other house. The staircase might be difficult for someone with limited mobility.

Wundervolle Unterkunft

Wir haben 14 wunderschöne Tage in dieser tollen Unterkunft verbringen dürfen. Die Aussicht war traumhaft und die Unterkunft war bestens ausgestattet. Es war sehr sauber und in die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchte. Auch standen Gewürze, Frischhaltefolie und weitere Küchehelfer zur Verfügung. Der Vermieter war stets gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Vorab gab es gute Informationen zur Anreise und Ausstattung der Unterkunft. Da das Haus an einem Hang liegt, ist ein steiler Berg für den Ab und Aufstieg zu bewältigen. Nach einem kurzen Fußweg ist man direkt im Ort und hat viele Restaurants zur Auswahl. Für uns und die Kinder war der Berg gut zu bewältigen. Man wird außerdem mit einem großartigen Blick belohnt egal ob man auf der Terrasse oder im Haus sitzt. Selbst von der Toilette aus, darf man die tolle Aussicht genießen. Das WLAN hat gut funktioniert. Dieses Jahr waren in Le Lavandou sehr viele Mücken unterwegs. Dort wäre ein Fenster zum Öffnen mit Mückenschutz wünschenswert gewesen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte wunderbar und sorgte für eine angenehme Temperatur im Häuschen. Die Lage ist schön ruhig und wunderbar zum Entspannen. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen und hoffen, dass wir ich einmal Gast sein dürfen.

Dans un écrin de verdure

Situation idéale proche du centre du Lavandou. Vue magnifique depuis la maison. On a beaucoup apprécié notre séjour en visitant la côte jusqu'à Fréjus,Porquerolles juste dommage que l'île attire trop de monde. Les enfants ont bien profité de la place grâce à une très bonne météo.

Das Ferienhaus haben wir wie beschrieben vorgefunden, wunderbare Lage, von jedem Zimmer aus Blick auf das Meer! Fußläufig Stadtzentrum und Strände erreichbar. Ruhige Lage, nur zu empfehlen. Der Vermieter war auch stets erreichbar.

Nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Toutes les pièces offrent une vue exceptionnelle. Le jardin est superbe. Beaucoup de végétation et très fleuri. Propreté du logement impeccable. Zwei wunderschönen Ferienwochen in der Villa Lou Cantoun! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Durch die Lage etwas oberhalb des Stadtzentrums/ Hafens und des Strandes, die nur wenige, steile Gehminuten entfernt liegen, genießt man von der Terrasse und dem Balkon aus eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Bucht und den Hafen. Von allen Zimmern aus sieht man das Meer mit seinen vielen Schiffen, Jetskis, Fallschirmen und Lichtern am Abend, sogar aus dem Bad durch große Fenster, wenn man sich nach dem Strand eine Regenwalddusche gönnt. Alle Fenster können durch Jalousien abgedunkelt werden und in den Schlafzimmern und in der geräumigen und sehr gut ausstatteten, offenen Wohnküche ermöglichen Klimaanlagen eine zusätzliche Kühlung . Unsere 6- und 10-jährigen Jungs genossen die Ferien sehr, schafften den Ab- und Aufstieg in der Sonne und freuten sich über die Zeit am nahgelegenen, familienfreundlichen Strand von Le Lavandou. Mit dem Auto, das direkt vor dem Haus in einer geschlossenen Anlage geparkt werden kann, konnte man schöne Ausflüge unternehmen. Abends konnten wir auf der Terrasse abseits von den Musikveranstaltungen und Restaurants, deren Klänge leise zu hören sind, unter einem schönen Sternenhimmel in gemütlichen Liegestühlen sitzen,an einem großen Tisch Gegrilltes vom Kohlegrill essen und hatte in diesen Wochen einen freien Blick auf 2 tolle Feuerwerke in der belebten Bucht.
