Luxury penthouse overlooking the Mosque

The penthouse is located in the Jewish Quarter, just a few minutes from the Mosque, the Alcázar and the Synagogue.

It is the top floor of an old mansion restored. From the living room, the room and the terrace you can enjoy wonderful views of the Mosque. In the huge terrace you can have breakfast or dinner while listening to the bells of the cathedral, enjoying the nice weather of Cordoba. Do not miss the sunset looking at the tower. Ideal for romantic days in Cordoba.

It has a spacious living room to two heights. In the main part is the living area and dining room with a window with a beautiful view of the tower of the Mosque. At the top, but regardless integrated part is a single bed.

The room has two single beds that can be converted into an XL bed, you can choose how you want when booking. Upon waking you can also enjoy the views of the Mosque through the bedroom window.

The best thing about the house is its large terrace with a variety of plants and trees where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just enjoy the good weather that usually do in Córdoba with stunning views of the Jewish quarter and the Mosque.

The kitchen is complete with appliances and utensils, as well as the bathroom.

The host was very helpful in giving us directions and assisting with parking when we got there. The setting is so perfect for seeing cordoba. But plan on getting lost while walking!

We had the pleasure of staying at El Jardin de Wallada for 4 days last week. It is such a lovely and relaxing apartment, with everything we needed. It is well-appointed and exceptionally clean. We adored the hours we spent on the terrace overlooking the old jewish quarter and the tower of the mezquita. What a special place! The apartment could not be better located for anyone wanting to experience the old city. Also, the booking, check-in and check-out process could not have been easier. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have been able to stay here.

Great Central Position with a Fabulous Terrace

Lovely apartment, the best position and part of a fantastic old villa and courtyard, views of the Mosque and easy walk to the river walks.

Great location

The best part of our vacation experience was Alba, the representative we worked with. She took our calls whenever we had questions even on Sunday afternoon and made us feel very welcome. This apartment has an excellent location right inside the old city wall. The view of the church tower is magnificent day and night as it’s lit. The patio around this penthouse apartment makes it even more special. It’s a great location to enjoy Cordoba.

Beautiful apartment in Jewish Quarter

Loved the apartment. Unfortunately we had rain both days we were in Cordoba and we were not able to utilize outdoor patio. It was close to everything in the Old Town. The Tower of the Cathedral/Mosque can be seen from the windows and the patio.

This was a lovely apartment centrally located in the historic area. Fantastic view of the Mezquita from the living area. The patio was a great place for relaxing and having a glass of wine.

The apartment suited us very well and came with on site parking which for this area is very rare. For a busy area we found the apartment to be very quiet apart from the bells on the nearby Mosque. We liked being able to walk to some very good restaurants nearby in fact the Steak house immediately outside the front door was excellent.

Spacious apartment in great location

We loved this apartment. The location and layout were ideal. Much more spacious than the pictures indicate. The building is beautiful inside with wide halls and the units are spread out. The terrace is huge and very private. When you walk out the front door in the building you are so close to all the attractions and numerous restaurants but it is very quiet in the building. we would definitely stay here again!

The one positive about the apartment was the stately building it was in. This was magnificent.The apartment itself was definitely not LUXURIOUS but dated and extremely cramped in both kitchen and bathroom The generous outdoor living area was so dirty we chose not to use it-very disappointing.The floors inside also seemed unclean.The bed was comfortable.5 coffee pods for 2 people for. 4 night stay was all that was provided. Not even a bottle of water! Extremely poor after our previous host’s generosity supplying the basics for an enjoyable stay.The one lounge was also extremely uncomfortable- we sat on the dining chairs in preference.I would recommend looking elsewhere in Cordoba for accommodation- very disappointed!

A lovely apartment in a great location in Cordoba

We found the apartment to be extremely comfortable, light and spacious and it is well equipped. It has a beautiful large outside terrace with views over the old town and mosqueThe apartment is in a lively and interesting neighbourhood in the old Jewish Quarter where there are many good restaurants within an easy walk. For food shopping there’s reasonably large supermarket through the City Walls and a smaller supermarket in the shopping streets closer by. Most of Cordoba’s sites are 10 minute walk away, they are very interesting and well worth visiting although to avoid the queues it is advisable to book online in advance.Maria and her team met us on time at the apartment with a helpful introduction to our accommodation and the city and responded very quickly to the one question we asked during our stay.We had a great stay and would certainly recommend both the apartment and the city.

Wonderful!!

I loved this place and Maria did some amazing things to make it very welcoming; coffee, tea, little snacks, etc. It was very clean and comfortable and is located in the middle of everything we wanted to see in Córdoba. It is very roomy and has a wonderful little patio for relaxing in the shadow of the Mezquita. And to think that this was once the palace of a Moorish Princess in the 11th century! Just.so.exotic! And the view of the Mezquita from the living room window is even cooler in real life than it is in the picture. All in all, a great place that clearly aims to make visitors to Córdoba happy and comfortable. Do not hesitate to book this! And a shout out to Isabel who checked us in. She was great! Informative, personable, friendly and welcoming.

Perfect!

We stayed for two weeks and everything was wonderful. The location is fabulous — close to everything and on a very cute street. The views from the apartment and patio are amazing. Even better than the photos. The building is very quiet and secure. The furniture is very comfortable and we had all the supplies we needed. The main bedroom is really nice, and the second sleeping space is separate enough from the living/dining space. Maria was so helpful. She left us to ourselves, but was very responsive when we had a question. Parking is in a tight space, not appropriate for bigger cars. Over the years we have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this will be remembered as one of our all time favorites. Perfect. Thank you!

Paradise with a View

We’ve always wanted to experience historic Spanish culture. We found it in this lovely penthouse apartment and the surrounding neighborhood. The view of the Cathedral Bell Tower was magical from the living room, bedroom, and patio. Where else can you sleep with 1,000-year old nightlight? The most entrancing ancient alleyways of this part of the walled city transported us back in time to the Moorish city. The modern city just outside the wall provided all the supplies we needed and the tasty restaurants around every turn delighted our taste buds. Maria provided all the necessities in the apartment. She was also very helpful in answering our questions like finding a bookstore selling English language books and ordering a taxi for our departure. You’ll feel right at home in her apartment and wishing you could return often. Treat yourself to Paradise with a view.

Incredible Location

This was an amazing place to stay in terms of location—fall out the front door with a 5 minute walk to the Mosque Cathedral and Alcazar, and all the shops and restaurants anyone could want. We arrived by car so while we appreciate the parking space that came with the apartment, getting into the lift for the car is not for the feint of heart or for anyone not extremely comfortable driving in very tight spaces. Our rental car took it’s scars! The apartment is clean and spacious, even though the layout is quirky as you might expect in a very old building. The bed was comfortable although the couch in the sitting area was not; overall the furnishings are spare. There are amazing windows, light and terrace spaces around the apartment and with warmer weather those would have been lovely to use. Walking around the Jewish Quarter is a wonderful experience and we enjoyed our time here immensely.

The apartment’s location in Cordoba’s Juderia, a UNESCO World Heritage site; its bird’s-eye view of the Mosque-Cathedral bell tower, especially at night; the old world charm of the unit’s building with a central courtyard and stained glass transom; it’s easy proximity to nearly all of Cordoba’s tourist sites, especially the exquisite La Mezquita; the apartment itself, especially the shaded entry arcade and private terrace, make this a very special choice indeed. We could not have been more pleased or lucky to have found it available. Both it and Cordoba are gems we hope to visit again.

Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral und wunderschön gelegen. Im Herzen der historischen Altstadt von Cordoba. Die Terrasse außergewöhnlich mit einen fantastischem Ausblick. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Anfahrt und die Parksituation sind nichts für schwache Nerven. Allerdings ist absolut hervorzuheben, dass in dieser Gegend überhaupt eine Parkmöglichkeit angeboten wird. Cordoba war der perfekte Auftakt für unsere Andalusienreise.Vielen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Cordoba!
