Awesome Lakefront Home With Panoramic Views And A Private Boat Dock

4 bedrooms--Beds enough for 8-10 people, 1 bathroom

Located at Lake Pomme De Terre, an Amazing Lakefront View Home fully furnished on wooded lot with private boat dock near Pittsburg, MO. This 1500 square foot home has a huge covered screened in porch facing the lake, less than 100 yards from the waters edge. There is also a very large outdoor deck facing the water, great for grilling out and relaxing. You can literally walk down to your dock for swimming and boating, in clear view of your back deck. The home is complete with free Wi-Fi, plenty of parking, 4 bedrooms The living room has a flat screen TV with Local Springfield channels , a WII gaming system (includes games) and an extensive video library with DVD player. There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker and filters, can opener, blender, toaster, regular utensils and plenty of disposable utensils too! There is a full bath with shower, vanity, and toilet. There is a fire pit area in the side yard with lawn chairs available. A propane grill is ready for use on the back deck and there are several chairs to sip your coffee or favorite beverage, and enjoy the breathtaking view. Our lovely home overlooks the lake (west facing) so their are beautiful sunsets on the water every evening Perfect for honeymooners, weekend getaways, or family gatherings.

Lake Pomme de Terre offers plenty of wildlife and relaxing lake access that is not as overcrowded as other Missouri lakes such as Lake of the Ozarks and Tablerock.


Cleaning fee is $100 for all stays.

We had a wonderful stay. When we had questions the owner responded in a timely manner and was very helpful. Bug spray is needed on the dock. The mosquitoes were huge and thirsty. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful views and quiet and serene. The walk to the dock was a little scary, but all in all would recommend friends. The house itself was perfect and the screened in deck was outstanding. We spent most of our time on screened in deck.

Quite and relaxing place to stay at. Cute and cozy home with great view of the lake. You have to walk a ways down to the boat dock. Better to just put in with the boat and not have to carry all you need down the hill.

My family and I loved our weekend getaway! The house was stocked with all the amenities we needed right down to the wood for the fire pit. Things that could be an issue for some people but didn’t really bother us are the steep climb to the dock, climbing back up onto the dock after you jump off as it doesn’t have a ladder and GPS wasn’t working right. Other than that everything was perfect!

Quiet and peaceful place to stay

We enjoyed how quiet this area was and our view was great! We didn't go down to the dock except for when we first arrived and spent most of our time in the screened deck area and at the fire pit. The beds were comfortable. The house itself could use a power wash because there were lots of cobwebs and such on the exterior but didn't impact our stay in any way!

The panoramic view of the lake was beautiful! The house was comfortable and clean and fishing was good! Check in was super easy. The hill down to the water is steep and a little challenging to climb. But overall a really nice place to relax on the water!

A place of peace!

The coordinates that Vrbo gave were off by 8 miles and the first location was a little sketchy! With no homes to be seen! Then the mailbox on the home said 2772 and own sent us 2771! And the home has monster of a hill that you can not safely go down ! Other than that the beds were amazing! We slept like babies!

Overall is was great, it was waterfront with the dock being a bit of a challenge to get to,, rough terrain, the cabin itself was set up great and the screened in back porch was the real ticket, the only thing is that no outdoor lights were working and knowing guests were coming the outside entry had lots of spiders and cobwebs hanging around, that said My family would consider going back...Thanks
