The Antigua Inn exceeded our expectations, was such a convenient location, and the host Laine was so accommodating, responsive, and just a pleasure to work with. Thanks again for everything!
Antigua Inn was the perfect location for our family weekend! The proximity to the plaza, ample parking and lovely outdoor spaces made the weekend. Laine is an excellent and responsive host. Looking forward to another stay at Antigua Inn!
Our group of seven adults and two children stayed here over the weekend. We were very comfortable, plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the patios in the evenings. The kids were able to safely run around inside the fenced yard. The house has every amenity you would get in a 5 star hotel. We all truly enjoyed our stay!
This was my second stay at the Antigua Inn. It is a special place, beautifully designed and decorated, with spaces to be alone or with your group. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Convenient to the Plaza!
The proximity of this beautiful home to the Santa Fe Plaza was so helpful. We parked our cars and walked to many sites as well as to the Indian Market. Our group consisted of three couple and one single traveler. Everyone enjoyed their own comfortable room with a private bathroom after very busy days. We happily gathered around the large dining room table for games, puzzles and origami challenges and any meals we prepared at home. Food shopping was just minutes away so it was easy to shop for the things we wanted on hand.
Perfect location close to everything you want to do in Santa Fe. We were a party of friends so each had our own room with en-suite bathroom, plus a common room and kitchen for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. Pictures don’t capture how charming the spaces are. Very pleased overall and would definitely stay here again.
This is a beautiful property that used to be an upscale, boutique inn. It is really well laid out with every bedroom having its own bathroom. Randall and Laine were great hosts and were very responsive to our requests. We would definitely book it again. The location is excellent.
We used Antigua to house most of us for a boomer fraternity reunion, with some others joining us for meals from hotels nearby. Place was perfect for our group--really beautiful outdoor courtyard with chairs and tables. Nice inside dining room. Well stocked--but tight squeeze--kitchen with all the appliances you'd need including MULTIPLE coffee makers. We used the space for bkfsts that we made, happy hours before we went out to dinner, and for one catered-in dinner. It worked great for all three types of events. The layout of the place means that everyone has their own bathroom in their bedroom. Plus a nice sitting room off the dining room with a bathroom and TV etc. We put all these areas to good use. The place is SO convenient to most of the main stuff you want to see in downtown Santa Fe and all of its shops and restaurants--like 5 to 15 min walk thru beautiful neighborhoods. Would definitely stay there again
Great location; easy walking distance to the Santa Fe Plaza, Palace of the Governors, Restaurants and Shops. Everyone said the beds were very comfortable, even the sleeper sofa. The Inn was beautifully decorated & comfortable (except for the outside furniture that was very worn, especially the pillows.) The lighted make-up mirrors in all the bathrooms were a nice feature. The host, Lanie, was very responsive to all my questions before arrival and quickly addressed a few minor issues after we arrived.
Some items to note – these are not negatives, but we would have like to know ahead of time:
• The only couch was in a room that was used for sleeping by one of our 5 couples. Even when the couch wasn’t in bed form, there was still only sitting area for 3 or 4 people. So the primary gathering area for our group of 10 was around the large kitchen table.
• There was no TV in the kitchen area, so our sports loving family was not able to watch their sporting events together.
• The kitchen was a galley kitchen; excellent set-up for one cook but challenge with 5 couples.
• The expresso machine described on the website, was not there.
We rented three properties for 22 family members. The Antigua Inn is a very special place. It has been so artistically decorated and appointed. We loved the property indoors and outdoors. The only difficulty is finding the place as it is down a gravel alley-like road, around corners and worth the reward once you get there. It would have been helpful to have more detailed instruction from the manager on how to approach the location. It is an absolutely fantastic location as it is withing walking distance of everything there is to see and do in central Santa Fe. You get the real Santa Fe experience in this property.
The Antigua Inn is a spectacular property. The interior is fantastically decorated, very comfortable, and has everything you need. The location is great! A short walk to the Plaza, Canyon Road, great shopping and restaurants.
We were three couples and a single friend. Each couple and the single had a room. The Rose Room isn’t functional as an adult room but is great as a hangout room.
I can’t recommend this property more! Do not hesitate to book the Antigua Inn.
The description doesn't even do this house justice. There are four wonderful bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and outside entrance/patio. King bedroom upstairs with a full bath (tub/shower) and walk-in closet. Three amazing bedrooms downstairs, each with bathrooms (showers) and small closets. The Pueblo room appears to be ADA compliant with a ramp and wide doors (no roll-in shower). The fifth bedroom has a fold-out couch (and bathroom). We used this as a sitting room/TV room, as the only other public space is kitchen/dining room and several outdoor patios. The hand-carved furniture in the theme of each room is gorgeous. The kitchen is wonderful, very well equipped, but it is a small one-person kitchen. The house was built in 1906 but it has been very, very, nicely updated, while still honoring the history and Santa Fe ambiance (even windows into the walls where you can view the original adobe). Everything inside was clean and modern. It is within walking distance of the square and so many restaurants, shops, galleries. It was perfect for our family get-away (grandmother and two teen-aged boys). It would also be great for several couples. We will definitely come back!! Vacasa/VRBO did not send me the access code. The owner was very quick to respond and let us in. He was also very patient with my husband to walk him through making the TVs work. We had everything we needed. What a wonderful vacation in Santa Fe!! Thanks!!
This was an incredibly beautiful property in a fantastic location; we really enjoyed the craftsmanship of the home restoration. We were able to easily walk to all Santa Fe plaza areas of interests, what a gem!
