Our beautiful new lake home features wonderful views, gathering spaces both inside and outside and comfortable private spaces for guests to rest.

The main level has one bedroom (king), 1-1/2 bathrooms, a laundry room, and a gorgeous open-concept area with an incredible kitchen and island, breakfast bar, dining area and living room with stunning lake views. The French doors open to a spacious covered deck with a comfortable sitting area, a dining table and an outdoor kitchen with a sink and propane grill for guests to use. The deck has retractable screens which can be raised for unobstructed views or lowered to keep out bugs or reduce unwanted wind. Steps from the deck lead down to a grassy area where guests can sit and enjoy the views or play yard games.

The lower walk-out level has four bedrooms (two king, one queen and one queen over queen bunk), two full bathrooms (one with a tub) and another wonderful open-concept area with a family room (including an arcade), dining area and kitchenette featuring more stunning views. The kitchenette provides guests with another refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and a counter-top Breville oven. The French doors open to a spacious covered patio with another comfortable sitting area and dining table with a propane fire pit.

The boat house deck provides yet another comfortable sitting area with a propane fire pit and - you guessed it - more stunning views! With the boat house right on the beach, guests can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets almost every night from this deck.

Steps from the front yard lead down to a sandy beach where guests can relax while watching or helping the kiddos make sandcastles, walk to the end of the long dock to relax on the bench or jump in the water, or take the steps down into the water for some fun water activities! Two Kayaks are available for guests to use.

Walnut cabinetry throughout gives our home a warm welcoming vibe and blackout blinds in all bedrooms help ensure a good night's sleep.

Prior to booking, be sure to fully review the Rental Agreement. By booking, the Primary Renter acknowledges reading and agreeing to the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Upon booking, the Primary Renter has a choice between paying $89 for a $3,000 property damage policy that covers accidental damages or being charged a $3,000 refundable damage deposit.

Pickerel Lake has two wonderful state parks with playground areas, swimming beaches, bathroom facilities, campsites, sleeping cabins, hiking trails, boat ramps and fish cleaning stations. As a reminder, no cleaning of fish or game is allowed anywhere on the property.

Guests can take a scenic and mildly challenging two-mile hike from our house to Pickerel Lake Lodge. The trail winds through the East Pickerel Lake Recreation Area swimming beach, boat ramp and campgrounds and through a public boat ramp.

When you drive up to the back of the house, you can park in the double car garage that leads into the main level of the house. There is plenty of additional parking behind the garage.

Depending on the weather, our lake home may be available for rent late fall, winter or early spring. However, as we do not provide snow removal, guests would have to shovel the driveway if necessary to get to the garage.
