This cottage is one of two homes on a 1-acre lakefront property on Lake Norman in a one-of-a-kind family compound with two lake houses and a private dock on a 1-acre, 300 feet of water frontage.

Both of us grew up near the water -- He lived most of his life on coast of Georgetown and Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, whereas I grew up in the tropical islands of the Philippines. After retiring from a busy IT career, I am rekindling my passion for resort/property management by sharing our waterfront family compound on Lake Norman to visiting guests and their families in the area.

Why they chose this property

We found this 'piece of paradise' as a quick getaway place from the hustle and bustle of work life 17 years ago. Not one moment of regret. The peace and tranquility refreshes our souls after a hard day's work.
