"Casa Do Vale" is a country house with 400m2, inserted in an area of ​​1 ha. It has capacity for 10 people, 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, two in the pool. It is set in a tranquil valley surrounded by countryside. Distance 30 minutes from Lisbon by car and train from the village of Azambuja. North direction of Lisbon.

It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday, you can swim in the pool, play tennis, enjoy other sports and make good barbecue.

We loved it. Big, quirky, relaxed, chilled. The pool was lovely. We used this as a base for a wedding, but actually, loved it in its' own right and will be back. Pool table got loads of use!!!!

Lovely two weeks in July

We have just spent two lovely weeks in this beautiful farmhouse. A very quiet location with stunning views but within easy reach of supermarkets, cafes etc. The gardens and pool area are beautiful and the tennis court was very popular with all ages - a real bonus! The nearby train station was very handy for trips without the car, especially to Lisbon. I can thoroughly recommend this property and would like to thank Margarida and her family for all their help during our stay. We hope to return! Doreen and family from Cheshire.

Entspannter Familienurlaub im Casa da Vale

Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen im Casa da Vale. Casa da Vale ist ein tolles Haus, in guter Lage, in der man nicht gestört wird und man auch keine Nachbarn stört, der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Einrichtung ist zum Teil schon etwas älter. Wir spielten Tennis und Billiard, schwammen im Pool, spielten Spiele und kochten zusammen und lernten dabei ein wenig das schöne Portugal kennen. Lissabon ist mit dem Auto in 40 Minuten zu erreichen, die Strände am Atlantik (Peniche) in etwa 45 Minuten. Der nächstgelegene größere Ort ist Aveiras da Cima (ca. 1,5 km), er bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf und zahlreiche Gastronomie. Besonders hervorzuheben ist allerdings die Herzlichkeit, Unterstützung und Gastfreundschaft unserer Vermierterin Mariana. Vielen Dank für alles!

Relaxing Holliday

The accommodation was great. We loved the billiard table in the living area the barbeque and the large swimming pool. We also tried tennis on the court. Unfortunately, the kicker is not for sale. So, you can still enjoy it if you want. Shops for daily needs are 6 km away. We really enjoyed our holiday in Portugal.

Décevant, cher pour ce que c'est

Les étoiles font références au prix et non pas au confort. La maison est à 60 km de Lisbonne, il faut compter 50 minutes par l'autoroute payante, sinon au moins une heure s'il n'y a pas de bouchons. Contrairement à ce qu'annonce la propriétaire on est à plus d'une demie-heure de Lisbonne. La maison est sur une pente exposée plein Est. La terrasse est au soleil le matin. La piscine a du soleil dans la journée jusqu'à 18h30 seulement. Il fait vite froid à l'ombre, dés qu'il y a du vent. Les 2 premiers jours, nous avons eu 45°C, c'était exceptionnel, il n'y a aucun ventilateur dans les chambres, on nous en a apporté un, mais il a fallu réclamer. A notre arrivé, il n'y avait pas de machine à laver, il fallait aller au lavomatic d'intermarché à 10 minutes de la maison, on nous en a apporté un le 3e jour, mais il a fallu réclamer. La maison a quelques petits problèmes de confort et d'entretien : - les invasions de fourmis (déja signalée en août 2015 par emmanuelle) : dés qu'on laisse un aliment dans le placard ou sur le plan de travail ou dans la poubelle, tout est noir, complètement recouvert de fourmis. Il faut tout mettre au réfrigérateur! - aucun ingrédient pour cuisiner (ni sel, ni herbes ou épices...) - les lits et matelas sont de style ancien et très inconfortables, on a vite des problèmes de sommeil ou mal au dos. (déja signalée en juillet 2016 par Olaf et laurence en aout 2016) - les évacuations se bouchent facilement (toilettes, douches...) - l'eau de la piscine n'a jamais été très transparente, malgré la chaleur, on n'avait pas envie de se baigner, car on ne voyait pas le fond de la piscine. C'est pas faute d'avoir mis des produits dans l'eau, mais surement faute d'avoir un aspirateur en état de marche et des pompes efficaces. - l'eau de la piscine est froide, il n'y a pas de bâche. - Vieille télévision, pas de lecteurs DVD, ni DVD. La maison est très calme, au milieu de rien, il doit y avoir une porcherie ou station d'épuration pas loin, il y a des odeurs en fin d’après midi, et des mouches tout le temps. La propriétaire ne se met pas à la place des locataires, c'est dommage, car Lucia et son mari font tout pour rendre le séjour agréable, avec les moyens qu'on leur donne. Nous n'avons pu obtenir aucune petite remise sur les 15 jours. La propriétaire nous reproche de ne pas avoir réclamer pour les lits, les toilettes, ect...mais nous avions déjà des allés et venus matins et soirs, pour la piscine, nous souhaitions un peu de tranquillité !

Séjour entre amis (10 adultes) Maison typique, rustique et très spacieuse, très agréable. Vaisselle et linge de toilette en quantité largement suffisante. Petit bémol concernant la chambre avec 2 lits simples : un peu petite et il serait bien de préciser qu'il s'agit de lits superposés (convient parfaitement pour des enfants) Dans un petit village, au calme, mais avec un accès facile aux centres touristiques (1/2 heure de route). Propriétaire à l'écoute des locataires. Merci à Lucia pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

De superbes vacances, muito obrigado !

La maison située à la campagne non loin d'un petit village reste très proche des lieux touristiques (1/2h de route par autoroute, de Bathala, de Tomar, des plages et surtout de Lisbonne). Rustique et spacieuse, elle est vraiment très agréable avec des équipements de loisirs très appréciables : billard, baby foot, tennis et piscine privés. Celle-ci est également très propre (draps et serviettes changés chaque fin de semaine) ce qui est agréable. La propriétaire a un réel souci de ses locataires. En outre, nous lui avions demandé qu'une personne puisse nous préparer les repas et elle a su trouver une perle ! Rosa, qui parlait un français impeccable, a pu nous faire découvrir la cuisine traditionnelle portugaise en nous concoctant de délicieux petits plats. D'excellentes vacances reposantes à renouveler bien vite !

Un must !

Maison magnifique, très spacieuse, très propre, extrêmement calme. Qualité remarquable de l'accueil et du souci du locataire. Equipement "de loisirs" rare : billard, baby foot, tennis privé, piscine privée avec accessoires et jeux,....Tout est fait pour le bien être des hôtes. Seul petit bémol : la literie (à ressort et ferme). Petite agglomération rurale un peu en dehors des centres touristiques mais qui restent très proches ( 1/2 de route, accès autoroute au village, tant pour les plages que pour les monastères d 'Alcobaça, Bathala, Tomar,...). Une excellente adresse où il serait bien tentant de revenir !

Excellent value for money

We had a great time at the Casa do Vale. The house is perfect for summer holidays in this area, the huge living room of the ground floor stays relatively cool and there are lots of things to do and see in the area. Also when you decide to stay home you have a huge 10m long, 2.5m deep, swimming pool, billiard table, tennis court and football table. In nearby village Vale Paraiso you can buy fresh fish (from Peniche) every Thursday and Saturday morning at the small local market. Next to the cafe/bar at the entrance of the village fresh bread is sold every morning from approx. 6AM on until 9:30AM. Some points of attention when you book: the beds/mattresses are old style and not ideal if you have sleeping problems or a bad back; the house has some small maintenance issues (e.g. shower heads need to be checked/substituted); there is no Wi-Fi; the house is in a rural area and flies are abundant. All in all we had a great time and would surely like to come back some day. The only advice we have for the owners is that they would greatly improve the comfort of staying in the house if they would substitute the mattresses of the beds for more ergonomic ones.

Lieu de rêve auquel il ne manque rien pour passer un agréable moment avec enfants et amis. La réalité est encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos. Mais je ne veux pas trop faire d'éloges car trop de monde vont vouloir louer la maison et je ne pourrai plus y retourner faute de places ! A refaire sans hésitation !

Séjour très agréable entre la piscine, le tennis, le billard. Maison spacieuse dans un cadre typique à côté d'un petit village. Effectivement, bien située (à côté de Lisbonne) et les bords du Tage. En revanche, sanitaires et ustensiles cuisine un peu vétustes. Une attention particulière doit être portée à l'entretien de la maison : fourmis envahissantes.

Mooi royale vakantiewoning

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad op het platteland van Portugal. Het huis is een ideale familie bestemming en met alle faciliteiten hebben we ons goed vermaakt, waarbij de pooltafel favoriet was.Zelfs voor de zwembadhanddoeken was gezorgd! Margarida en Joao bedankt voor een heerlijke week!

A so great and enjoyable stay!

We had a very great stay in Margarida's house this summer. The villa is just gorgeous, especially for resting near the pool, cooking great BBQs, and relaxing. The house is huge and full of all the necessary basic stuff. The kids just loved the pool, the tennis court and billard, while the parents enjoyed the relaxing place and area. Margarida and Joao the gardener are very helpfull and welcoming. We really do recommend this place for a relaxing and pleasant stay! We hope to return soon!

Vacances dynamiques dans une belle propriété

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison et les infrastructures sont parfaites pour 8 personnes; Enfants et adolescents peuvent être occupés toute la journée grâce à la piscine, court de tennis et billard. La maison est très propre et dispose du confort néccessaire pour passer des vacances inoubliables . Jao, le jardinier , est l'homme sur qui vous pourrez compter pour vous parler de la région;

We have a very good vacation in the house with two families. The house is very clean and everything you need is there. The pool, table tennis, tenniscourt, pooltable. Margarida thank you for everything so nice to take and bring our laugage to the airport. greetings to your nice son and st Juan the gardener.
