La Casita is a newly built one bedroom studio (275 sq. feet) surrounded by trees on a large private lot and is a 3 minutes walk to a semi-private beach. La Casita offers a private, independent getaway. It is located close to Sosua (3 kms) and Cabarete (7 kms) and 15 minutes ride from Puerto Plata International Airport (POP).
The house offers guests a queen sized bed, tv and internet access, kitchenette with cook-top and fridge, bathroom with shower, patio with seating and outdoor shower, and is close to the beach.
La Casita is located in the gated community of Escondido Bay (between Sea Horse Ranch and Sosua Ocean Village) and has 24 hour security with total privacy, yet minutes away from activities and amenities, including restaurants, supermarkets, golf courses, casinos, a nearby children's water playground (at Sosua Ocean Village in the community), gym, cafe, tennis courts, horseback riding, Ocean World , and Cabarete which is known for its nightlife, windsurfing and parasailing.
Three restaurants/cafes are in close proximity within 5 minutes walk: full-scale restaurant at Sosua Ocean Village, Bar at Grand Laguna Beach Condo and El Patio Cafe.
The seashore has a lot of fish making it a good location for snorkeling, fishing and spear hunting.

Why they chose this property
This is an extremely quiet place in close proximity to the beach. The beach is perfect for surfing when there are waves and a good place for swimming and fishing when the ocean is calm.
What makes this property unique
Standing alone studio, nearest neighbor is about 50 meters away. OK motors Sosua offer very reasonable rates for car rentals. They will bring the car on the day you wish to your door and will pick it up later or will give you a ride back home.
