Charming apartment in house, completely independent with private garden and pool. Located on the fringes of the village of Casciano di Murlo, about 20 km from Siena, in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Lovely view of the hills, shaded veranda with garden furniture and private barbecue. Peaceful.
The apartment (about 55 sqm) is located on the ground floor and opens directly onto the veranda and garden. It offers a spacious living room with TV and double sofa bed, a kitchen and dining room (with washing machine, toaster and dishwasher), a triple room with a double bed and a single sofa bed, a bathroom bathroom with shower. Elegantly decorated. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. WiFi Internet.
Private pool (6m x 12m) with sun loungers and parasols, located in the large garden with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills.
Shops and restaurants nearby. A beautiful, quiet stay

A wonderful spot for us, in between Rome and Florence. The hosts were great, the property beautiful. Small town to walk to the store and a few eateries. Wonderful location to drive to Siena, the beach and other great towns close by.

Great location for touring Tuscany. Situated in lovely village with all amenities, including a restaurant. Spacious apartment with small terrace overlooking garden and countryside. Large pool which although advertised as private is also used by host and extended family, which was a surprise. No toiletries or towels for pool provided by host. Overall an enjoyable relaxing stay.

Great Home Base in Tuscany

The gardens are beautiful and inviting, and from your seat on the patio you can take in the lovely view all the way down, over the olive trees, to the rolling hills of the Crete Senesi. The house is quiet, comfortably but simply furnished, with plenty of space for a couple or small group. In the heat of summer, I’m sure it’s a wonderfully cool retreat. The apartment has all bases covered as far as appliances and cooking equipment, but there were no pantry staples like oil or salt. We were able to find what we needed at the local bottega and the co-op stores in larger towns. I suspect this is a Covid policy, and not a bad one, just something to be aware of if you’re planning to cook. Hosts Marcello and Letizia are friendly and helpful, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your vacation. We wished we spoke more Italian so we could learn more about the area, but, alas we had to just go find out for ourselves.

Das Haus ist toll gelegen. Das komplett eingezäunte Grundstück ist sehr schön angelegt und weitläufig. Unser Hund konnte sich frei bewegen und hat oft mit Viktor, dem Hund der Besitzer gespielt. Der Pool ist wunderschön mit tollem Ausblick. Wir hatten den Pool für uns alleine zur Verfügung. Die netten Besitzer des Hauses waren immer ansprechbar, haben aber immer unsere Privatsphäre respektiert. Der kleine aber lebendige Ort Casciano die Murlo hat alles was man im Urlaub benötigt. Eine bzw. zwei kleine Bars, eine Bank, eine Apotheke, einen kleinen gut sortierten Supermarkt und ein Restaurants. Alles nicht touristisch, sondern authentisch italienisch. Zum Meer, z.B. zum schönen Marina die Grossetto fährt man ca. 60 bis 70 Minuten. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Grüne Oase in idyllischem Dorf mitten in der Toskana

Wunderschönes Landhaus im Toskana Stil mit atemberaubendem Garten und Ausblick. Toller Salzwasserpool (trotz leider nur 2 Sonnentagen Ende April). Gelegen in einem kleinen Örtchen mit süßem Bäcker, kleinem Supermarkt und schönen Restaurant. Ausflüge in alle Richtungen möglich, zu zahlreichen idyllischen Dörfern, ebenso wie zu größeren Städten (Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, etc.)Sehr sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich im Hintergrund halten aber jederzeit ansprechbar sind.Vielen Dank Marcello und Letizia für den tollen Urlaub in dieser grünen Oase.

Gut geeignet für warme und trockene Tage und Erkundung der Umgebung

Küche und Wohnraum sind gut ausgestattet. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in der untersten Etage eines Hauses, welches sich in einem Bergdorf befindet. Die Zufahrt geht über enge Strassen und ist für große Autos etwas schwierig. Die Lage ist gut zur Erkundung von Volterra, San Gimignano und Siena. Nach Siena dauert die Autofahrt nur 1/2 Stunde. Der Swimmingpool ist groß und im Sommer sehr gut zum Baden geeignet. Leider haben wir ihn auf Grund des Wetters (kalt und regnerisch) nicht nutzen können. Ähnlich verhielt es sich mit dem großen Gartenteil. Bedingt durch das Wetter und des in den Hang gebauten Hauses war die Wohnung auch etwas kühl.

Het is een fijn en zeer schoon appartement, groot genoeg voor 2 personen. Badkamer is recent vernieuwd en voorzien van een prima douche. Grenst aan een prachtige tuin en het zwembad ( delen met eigenaar) is goed verzorgd en voorzien van voldoende goede bedjes. 2 lekkere stoelen op het terras om s avonds nog lekker buiten te zitten zou een welkome aanvulling zijn. Schönes Appartement mit Terrasse und parkähnlichem großen Gartengrundstück

Die Unterkunft ist -wie beschrieben - gut ausgestattet. Die Eigentümer, die oben im Haus wohnen, sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hervorzuheben ist das riesige parkähnliche Grundstück mit grossem Pool. In der Nähe sind viele Highlights der Toskana mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.
