Mike and Kath were the most friendly and accommodating hosts we have ever encountered and we would definitely recommend Beehive Cottage for a self catering holiday in the area.

Glad you were so positive about your stay. Sadly the pub looks like being closed for some time and has been closed throughout covid and is unlikely to reopen as the owner have the premises up for sale. However within 3miles we have a wide range of restaurants for eating in and takeaway delivery. Details are in the Cottage.
I booked the cottage for my mother in law. She loved the cottage, it has a lovely garden and the owners were just wonderful with her. I would definitely book again. Thank you.

Thank you for your very positive comments. We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Glad you found such a wide variety of things to do in the area.
He had a lovely stay with our dog sitting in the garden among flowers, vegetables, fruit trees, etc. Kath and Mike were welcoming hosts who urged us to help ourselves to beans, tomatoes, salad leaves, which we did! They also brought us a bowl of freshly picked logan berries, perfectly ripe and delicious. We'd definitely return. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
The owners are very nice and obviously love their garden. The house was comfortable. However with a few tweaks our stay could have been fantastic. We have pointed these out to the owners, but in particular as mentioned previously particulars should be amended to reflect that the George and Dragon is now closed.
Lovely garden, but shared and not secure when you have a dog. Two lovely people who own the property and very easy to get on with. My only criticism would be the advert should be reviewed and adjusted as the pub on the doorstep of the property which to us was a major plus, has been closed two years but not in the advert, and the other point to make clearer in the advert is the garden is shared so not secure and they have two cats roaming about which restricks allowing our dog out in the garden unless on a lead. Other than that an exceptional comfortable property with lovely owners.
We didn’t stay at the property as it was advertised as a super king size bed and with a hot tub and it had neither. 2 single beds we were told to push together and the hot tub broke down before Christmas but he never got in touch to let us know instead his response when I asked where it is was “you can go to the local swimming baths!!!” Absolutely disgraceful so we wasted a whole day travelling there just to have to return home again and the break was booked for my fiancée,s Christmas present. Couldn’t describe how angry I am about this. Disgusting
The cottage is well situated for exploring an interesting and attractive area. It is clean and well equipped with stunning gardens and views of the surrounding countryside. The hosts could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
A very comfortable cottage, lovely hosts, convenient for birdwatching at Kilnsea/ Spurn (provided you have your own transport). At the moment you will have to drive to eat out in the evening but the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. We will happily stay there again and recommend it to friends.
Great property for 2 people to relax in. Lovely garden and seating outside for what was a very sunny week. Owners helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Plenty to do in the week. Quiet and in the middle of no-where - exactly what we wanted.
Hosts were friendly and knowledgable accommodation lovely and generous for two people beautiful outside space and garden
Bed very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay
We loved the peace & quiet. Ideal for walking & cycling or just staying around the cottage. Michael & Kathryn were lovely hosts & made us very welcome. Lovely outdoor space in good weather. The huge bed & sofa were very comfy. Holmpton bunker is worth a visit too.
