The lodge accommodates fifteen guests across ten comfortable bedrooms, comprising three double rooms, two twin rooms, one flexible double/twin arrangement, and four single rooms. All bedrooms are furnished with quality linens and fresh towels. The property's three bathrooms each have six-foot bathtubs and there are two additional shower rooms ensure ample facilities for larger parties.

At the heart of the house, the drawing room is the cosiest room with its magnificent Steinway grand piano and welcoming wood-burning stove. Here, guests might while away evenings with board games, cards, or jigsaw puzzles, whilst enjoying the comfort of the fire. The formal dining room provides an elegant setting for memorable meals, prepared in the fully equipped kitchen featuring a classic three-oven Aga, separate hob, microwave, substantial fridge, two chest freezers, and modern food preparation amenities.

For entertainment, the lodge offers a modest pool table and table tennis facilities. Those requiring connectivity will appreciate the superfast WiFi, though many guests choose to embrace the tranquil isolation that Lagafater affords.

The estate's extensive grounds are yours to explore, with woodlands, rivers, and windswept moorlands at your fingertips. As a working sheep farm, we kindly request that dogs be kept on leads when near livestock, though they are otherwise welcome to enjoy the grounds with their owners.

The Lodge benefits from full central heating throughout, ensuring year-round comfort, whilst the dark skies above offer exceptional stargazing opportunities on clear evenings. A resident housekeeping couple occupy a separate nearby cottage and are will be there to show you around and to assist with queries about the property or local area.
