About this property

GoGreen Cabin in the heart of rural France on a private lake

New since 2018 we have a Lakeside Cabin available for up to 4 people on your own private lake. A perfect place for you to switch off from your normal day-to-day life and completely relax. Inside the Cabin you have a little kitchen with a gas hob and gas fridge, there is a dining table for 4 and a cozy lounge area with a log burner. There is 1 bedroom which has a double bed in it plus a shower room. There are also two handcrafted bunk-beds, big enough for adults as well as children. The Cabin is beautifully rustic and has been very tastefully decorated but it just gets better as you open the patio doors onto a large decking area. Half of the decking is under cover so whether you need shelter from the rain or shade from the sun you can still sit outside and enjoy the picturesque views. The rest of the decking leads out on the lake where you can sunbathe, try your hand at fishing or dip your toes in the lake. There is a BBQ for you to eat alfresco. Around the lake there are some rope-swings in the trees, a fire pit, some giant beans bags which are a perfect spot to relax and read a book in the evening sun.
The Cabin is a perfect hideaway if you are looking for somewhere to relax and unwind.

Beautiful place for R&R

The Green Cabin on the lake did not disappoint. A beautiful peaceful place where all you can hear is the bird song and the fish jumping. The cabin itself was beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. It provide all the comforts of home. A great place to escape the rat race and relax. Supermarket a few minutes drive away and some beautiful towns and villages to explore within a 50 min drive. Would highly recommend.

We are Simon & Sophie Green who are in our early forties, originally from Northampton in England. Simon used to be an Electrician and Sophie an Administration Manager within an Accountancy Practice, in our spare time (before children) we enjoyed renovating houses and moved quite regularly in our local village. Following the birth of our first son Louis, we decided to change our careers and set up a Sandwich Shop. We then worked our socks off for 3 years and were fortunate to sell the small business in 2012 following the birth of our second son Freddie. We then set our heart on finding a property in France and moved here in 2013 having found Mirabelles which we hire out as a family friendly Gite.We are now a family of five after the birth of our baby girl in 2017.

The Cabin has been tastefully decorated, its comfortable and should have everything you should need for your holiday. We have also created a comfortable and welcoming outside space which you can enjoy whatever the weather.

The cabin in an amazing position on your own private lake surrounded by forest near to a beautiful traditional French village. It is simply unique.
