Overall our stay was great. It's a beautiful cabin in the woods, perfect for a winter getaway. The place was clean and tidy. Only real frustrations are one towel per person was given, which wouldn't be a problem but for the hot tub, and the fact that the dryer was out of order, and clearly had been for some time, as a semi permanent sign stating so had been afixed to it. That is clearly problematic given the aforementioned hot tub and the fact that most will likely use the cabin as a base when going up to Mount Baker to visit the snow. Not being able to dry your clothes after a day on the mountain was troublesome.

Hi Darren: Thank you for the 4-star review for family Cabin #44! We are delighted to hear that "overall (your) stay was great", and that you found it to be "a beautiful cabin in the woods, perfect for a winter getaway", and that "the place was clean and tidy". We will share your kudos with our housekeeping team. They will be equally thrilled! Regarding one towel provided per person; that information is correct and included with the "preparing for your stay" info that we send to our Guests with every confirmed reservation. That way, they can plan ahead accordingly. We sincerely apologize for the situation with the dryer, as the dryer had previously been repaired, but unfortunately, it appears that the sign had not been removed. We're happy to hear that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub and BBQ and the indoor fireplace during your visit. Many thanks for the exceptionally neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan
We very much enjoyed our stay in this fun rustic raven themed cabin. It was impeccably clean, including the hot tub, which is not always the case with rentals. We enjoyed views of Mt. Baker and used the house as a base for nearby hikes. There were lots of games and puzzles for evening entertainment. The only downside was that the bunkbeds were VERY close to one another. making it a little difficult to get in and out of, but our daughter is not very big so it wasn't a huge deal.

Hello,
Overall experience was great. I really enjoyed our time there. My family and I stayed for 3 nights. We celebrated my fiancee birthday in this location. We really enjoyed how close Noosrack Falls were and enjoyed the cozy amenities.
We would like to come see what it would look like during winter season.
The only gripe would be, that it was pretty stuffy with only a heater option available. Nights were pretty uncomfortable on the second story.
But other than that everything else was really nice my family and I enjoyed our stay.

Hi Christian: Thank you for the great review for rustic family Cabin #53! We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay, and that the cabin worked well for your "birthday weekend getaway". The location is definitely convenient to local area trails and in very close proximity to the Nooksack River. You are absolutely correct in that this rustic cabin-in-the-woods is not equipped with an air conditioning system. Fortunately, we don't experience too many unusually hot nights, so having the windows open usually does the trick. We hope that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub and BBQ during your visit. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan
I am an avid vacation home renter and I have never had such a frustrating experience. There is literally nothing in the way of kitchen supplies, no place to store your food item (except out on the counters), and the heater consistently malfunctions. The pull out sofa upstairs was a complete disaster, definitely unusable as it slopes straight down and has a massive crater in the middle. Was kind of like sleeping on a waterbed half full?!
We had to buy EVERYTHING to make a meal—including aluminum foil, salt and pepper, oil, etc. There was absolutely nothing in the kitchen aside from some dish soap (which we were surprised to find). The pans/pots were so difficult to use for basic breakfast cooking (eggs stuck to pan despite all efforts, and cast iron pan was basically useless for pancakes bc it is bent and had hot spots, burning half of the pancake). I’m no chef, but I can scramble eggs and make pancakes—except for in this kitchen. Forget it. Bring bagels and order pizza.
This house has so many rules and there are signs posted everywhere so you don’t forget them. Makes you feel like you’re in a boarding school versus enjoying your vacation. And don’t forget to wash all of your towels and linens before you leave 🙄. Seriously?! Who has time for that?!
Isn’t that what the cleaning fee is for?
I found this place to be habitable, but not enjoyable, as I couldn’t sleep on the pull out, couldn’t cook a decent meal, the heat stopped working twice In two days, and I was too concerned about breaking a rule to relax and enjoy myself. Would not rent again. Not my kind of vacation home.

Hi Lacy:
Thank you for your review for family Cabin #44. WOW, that's a pretty harsh review for a cabin that typically receives very favorable comments. Although you didn't mention them in your review, we hope that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub and the indoor fireplace during your stay. I'm not certain what you're referring to as "Kitchen supplies", as the kitchen is fully equipped. We're at a bit of a loss as to which cast iron pan was bent, but will check into this and replace as necessary...thank you for reporting it...albeit after the fact. You did report that you were experiencing a problem with the furnace, but when we returned your call, you mentioned that you figured it out, and everything was good-to-go...no need for assistance. Although the cabin has both a land line and wifi connectivity, we did not hear back from you regarding any other issues throughout the duration of your 2-night stay. As you failed to fold the bed component of the hide-a-bed into its proper location prior to your departure, we checked the hide-a-bed for defects, but found none. Yes, as it clearly states in the materials that are provided with every reservation; due to local health department regulations, we are unable to provided any form of "food product consumables" including coffee, tea, spices, condiments, oils, etc. We send this info to all Guests so that they can prepare for their stay accordingly. We can only apologize that you didn't take the time to read them beforehand. The gated resort-recreational community in which the cabin is located does have a number of rules and regulations...many of which can result in fines. As you're staying as a Guest in someone's private residence, house rules apply, so we provide reminders so as not to have our Guests caught off guard. Most Guests appreciate this, but apparently you didn't. You mentioned that you had to wash all of the towels and linens prior to departure...well you don't and you didn't. All that we ask of our Guests is to start a load of kitchen and bathroom towels. Guests are not requested to strip the beds, etc. That, in addition to a three page list of other cleaning requirements is what the Cleaning Fee pays for, and what the housekeepers do. It seems that you had a miserable weekend, probably due in large part to the unfavorable weather conditions encountered during your stay, and we would prefer that you look elsewhere for future stays. Respectfully, Dan
We just so happened to stay when the big snowstorm hit Western Washington. Despite fast snow accumulation and power outages we had a wonderful stay. The cabin was the perfect mix of rustic and modern. The hot tub was great after a long day of riding at Baker. Communication with management was easy and they were always helpful. Highly recommend Mt Baker lodging and will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed this cozy cabin, made lots of fires, relaxed in the wonderful hot tub. The cabin has nice ski chalet touches and the kitchen even though a bit small, was very user friendly for our family with 4 teens to feed. Also, the front mud room has a nice heater to keep ski clothing and gear dry and warm.

Nice stay in Glacier
The property was very nice and well set up. Wasn't the cleanest rental property, but was clean enough. Bunk bed room was incredibly small and the bunk beds need some maintenance. The main couch has also seen better days. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Hi Kelcey: Thank you for the 4-star review for family Cabin #44! We are delighted to hear that you had a "nice stay in Glacier", and that you found the cabin to be "very nice and well set up". We apologize that the housekeeping wasn't up to our usual standards. A quick call or e-mail to our office during your stay, (the cabin has both a landline and wifi connectivity) and we would have been more than happy to dispatch a member of our housekeeping team to take care of any shortcomings. Unfortunately, we did not hear from at anytime during your 2-night stay. The cabin is rustic, and the furnishings are befitting of a rustic cabin-in-the-woods. The bunk bed room is rather small (as shown in the pictures) and is primarily designed to accommodate families with children versus adult sleeping accommodations. We hope that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub and BBQ and the indoor fireplace during your visit. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan
Beautiful setting hey hunt lots of atmosphere about the cabin. Light switches more difficult to find and overall lighting was inadequate. We enjoyed the hot tub which was clean and easy-to-use.
kitchen was well equipped with good appliances. Bedding was inadequate for the pull out couch upstairs and the pillows smelled Rancid. We had to wash the pillow cases before we could use them.

Hi Richard: Thank you for the great review for family Cabin #44! We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay, and that you found it to be a "beautiful setting (with) lots of atmosphere. We're not sure why you were having difficulty finding the light switches, but we are available to assist our Guests whenever the needs arises, and are just a phone call away. We're happy to hear that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub, and we will pass your kudos along to our maintenance team. They will be equally thrilled! I do need to make one correction in that the hide-a-bed is not intended for sleeping purposes, and is not advertised as such. That is the reason why linens/pillows for it are not provided. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan
This is a very cute cabin. Perfect for parents with a few kids looking to explore Mt Baker. Very clean and well put together inside. We picked up on the raven theme pretty quick! Enjoyed the hot tub (only once because it was summer). Grill was spotless and worked great.. (sorry couldn’t find a grill cleaner to clean it off after we used it). Lots of games available to play if you don’t bring your own (including a cute game that includes the dog!). Nice neighborhood for walking dog in evening to a play area for kids to run. Only down fall for us was heat. We brought fans once we realized it would be 80 with no air conditioning. Evening windows were fine to keep open but most were not made for screens. 4 back windows for bedrooms and kitchen... only 2 had screens and one was bent. So we set up fans to try to cool the house while keeping moths and mosquitoes out. Was a bit challenging and probably only cooled down to 75 upstairs since we couldn’t keep more windows open. Looks like lots of fixing up and upgrades happening here so I’m sure that will be fixed soon. Can’t speak about pans on previous posts.. We brought all we needed as we usually do to these places and made pancakes and everything just fine. Also found that signs around place were mainly community rules but since I wasn’t throwing a party or setting off fireworks I wasn’t worried like a previous reviewer 😂👍. All in all, nice private location, clean cute cabin and amazing trails to hike at Mt Baker. (And extremely organized process to get keys etc..)
Thanks for everything!
