Located in the heart of Chianti Classico, between green olive groves, vineyards and oak trees, Villa Casanova is the place to spend holidays in peace and joy!

As its point of reference there is the ancient Tower of "Galatrona" that you can visit and once you arrive in a breathtaking view that sees 360 degrees the wonderful Tuscan hills with its most important places.
The foundation of the tower dates back to the Etruscan and Roman populations.
'Galatrona' is also the name of one of the best wines that can be found in the Petrolo Estate with 'Tower' (big tower) and Boggina! This charming estate is, in fact, famous worldwide for its delicious nectar of the gods that can not be missed!
This Tuscan country house, is completely isolated and is located on a hill that offers absolute peace and tranquility with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and villages.
The large garden that surrounds the house has a swimming pool equipped with deckchairs and parasols ...
A barbecue and a large outdoor table invite you to enjoy the sound of silence and birdsong the excellent Tuscan sausages and good wine!

You get to Villa Rita following an arrow at the beginning of the dirt road that read CASANOVA along a dirt road there is a private entrance and is only the second yellow house with ample parking in front.

Florence, Arezzo, Greve in Chianti, Siena are at 30/45 minutes 1 km and 1.5 km there are the small villages of Bucine and Mercatale with all that you can serve .... COOP supermarket, pharmacy, small shops and restaurants.
You can go to Florence by train
Train station 10 minutes - in Montevarchi.
Nearby you can visit charming old villages and a few minutes there is a wide variety of restaurants that offer the things most typical of Tuscan cuisine!
Nearby is the famous "Rendola Riding" that offers wonderful horseback riding and for those who love cycling there is the possibility to rent.

For those who are fond of golf, about 45 minutes there is the beautiful Golf of "Bagniaia" among the most beautiful in all of Tuscany.
For those who love the Spa ... to 30 minutes there are the ancient and modern "baths of Rapolano" to spend a day immersed in their wonderful warm waters .....

IMPORTANT
FOR THESE WEEKS 2 WEEK CLEANING / LAUNDRY / ELECTRICITY COSTS have a cost of more than Euro 90 (Saturday linen change, cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen) that will be payable upon arrival.

WINTER
In winter, heating costs are NOT included.
It will be calculated with a counter and before the start payment will have to be made. The security deposit in the winter and € 500.
It is estimated around € 40 per day (for 10 hours of heating for both floors of the house) If you turn on just the upstairs (the expense is to be calculated to approximately € 20 per day for 10 hours of heating).
The wood for the fireplace is included.

The rent of the house runs from Saturday to Saturday on a weekly basis.
IN PERIODS OF LOW SEASON .. ON REQUEST THE HOUSE WILL THEN BE RENTED FOR PERIOD EVEN MORE 'SHORT and there will be even more flexibility on dates!

The owner lives in a farmhouse not far from the property and will always be at the disposal of the guests for any problems or information they may need without invading their privacy.

Great location, great host

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Rita. Rita was very supportive in her explanation on the property, on things to do and places to visit or not to visit. She even very pro-actively supported us with groceries, since we arrived just before the easter holidays and everything would have been closed.

Perfect Tuscan Vacation!

Just what you want for a Tuscan farmhouse vacation. Beautiful house, with rustic feel, but modern amenities. Air conditioning was really welcome because we were there during a heat wave. Rita is a great host and can give lots of recommendations. Highly recommended!

Authentic Tuscan villa in secluded, peaceful lovation

We all thoroughly enjoyed the homely nature of this villa which remains a family home. There are sufficient modern conveniences to give a comfortable stay without the feeling that the authenticity of the villa has been compromised. It has all the qualities you would expect of an older important grand wine estate house with plenty of outdoor spaces for shade or sunbathing and a lovely pool, table tennis and hammock. Communication with Rita, the owner who lives close by was wonderful and she does everything she can to give you support if required but remains unobtrusive. We had a wonderfully relaxing 11 nights here enabling us to see much of the local area and included days in Siena and Florence

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful Tuscan villa with our family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely stunning, set in a classic countryside, the villa itself has all the charm you’d expect from traditional Tuscan villa.The outdoor space was a highlight for us: we made great use of the swimming pool every day, and the ping pong table was a big hit with everyone. We also enjoyed using the grill in the evenings, perfect for relaxing and dining.Our host, Rita, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. She made us feel right at home and was available whenever we had questions or needed recommendations.Florence was about an hour’s drive away, which made day trips to the city very manageable. The nearby towns were also beautiful and full of character, we loved exploring the area.All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Tuscan getaway.

Wonderful rural property

Casanova is a perfect Tuscan farmhouse on a hill with gorgeous views and a lovely host. It is a classic Italian rural home but with a very efficient air conditioning which was an absolute godsend in the heat of 2022. Rita also kindly adapted one of the downstairs rooms for my daughter who uses a wheelchair. Thanks so much!!

Heavenly!

We visited during a July heat wave and had a fantastic time. Day trips to Siena, Florence, wineries with great local advice from our wonderful host Rita. Returning “home” to air conditioning and the wonderful pool was amazing. It was easy to cook meals at home or drive to local restaurants. Rita is a generous and attentive host, always checking to make sure we have enough towels for the pool, arranging a special visit to the Galatrona tower, sharing her spectacular family wine, and even taking in our laundry when it unexpectedly rained one afternoon while we were visiting Siena. We would love to return again to this magical place!

Wonderful Villa

We had a fantastic time staying at Villa Casanova. It is so beautiful there under the splendid oaks looking out over the beautiful Tuscan countryside we didn’t want to leave. Rita, our host was so warm, welcoming & charming and helped us with everything we needed to organise. The villa has a perfect location close to supermarkets and local restaurants and an easy train ride from Florence, while feeling so peaceful up in the hills. The villa itself was great for the kids as well, they loved playing table tennis & volley ball in the pool. There are lots of lovely walks too especially to the Tower Galatrona, from the top of which you can see the whole of Tuscany, just wonderful. Thank you Rita so much we had a truly beautiful holiday. We had an absolutely wonderful week at Villa Rita. Rita was so helpful to our family. She set up a crib for our 19 month old travelling with us. When we arrived the first day, there was milk for her and a bottle of wine for us. Rita was available to answer any of our questions. The photos represent the home perfectly. The kitchen was set up with everything one needed to cook meals. The COOP to get groceries was within a 10 minute car ride. We walked 8-10 minutes down the hill into the town of Mercatile to a bakery every morning for fresh bread and croissants. The outdoor pool was a great place to relax and cool off. There is a historical fort one can walk to in about 45 minutes up the hill and it is very scenic. scenic.Venturing out of Bucine, we picked up a train in Montevarchi (a 20 minute car ride max) to head to Florence. Sienna and Arezzo were 45 minute car rides and wonderful cities to see as well. Rita helped to make arrangements to visit 2 vineyards; one we had lunch at and the other dinner. These visits were definitely highlights of our trip. We would love to come back to Villa Rita. Thank you Rita for everything!Erlinde

Ein herrschaftliches Haus in schöner Lage! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Villa CASA NOVA mit Pool besticht durch ihren historisch anmutenden Charakter und liegt am Fuße eines wunderschönen Weingutes in Nähe Bucine/Montevarchi. Alle Zimmer des antiken Hauses sind liebevoll erhalten und haben jedes für sich eine ganz eigene persönliche Note. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und von Bucine aus das naheliegende Chianti Gebiet erkundet – für uns immer wieder ein Traum! Rita ist eine sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Vermieterin, sie wohnt auf dem Grundstück nebenan und hat uns mit ihren Erzählungen und vielen guten Tipps begeistert – ein liebenswerter Mensch. Sie ist stets um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Wir können die Villa CASA NOVA auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Une belle découverte de la Toscane dans cette Magnifique villa chargée d’histoire. Très spacieuses est magnifiquement meublée. Beau et grand jardin avec grande table dans un espace ombragé. La piscine bien entretenue avec filet de volley, table de Ping pong et jeu de fléchettes pour le bonheur de la famille. Merci à Rita Qui nous as très bien accueilli et expliqué le fonctionnement de la maison. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir . Je recommande a 100%

Dolce vita à Bucine

Rita est une personne délicieuse qui sait vous accueillir, en plus elle vous propose des activités comme par exemple les cours de cuisine avec Modesta. Allez-y c'est top ! En ce qui concerne la maison , elle est entre les vignes et les oliviers, à l'abri du bruit, proche du célèbre domaine viticole de Petrolo: un petit coin de paradis! C'est une maison différente des autres, avec beaucoup de charme et d'âme. De nombreuses photos familiales vous rappellent l'histoire de cette famille. Très bien pour les personnes en recherche d'authenticité. Nous, on a adoré ! Bon emplacement pour visiter Florence ( en train) Sienne, Pise et la région du Chianti.
