Apartment on the ground floor of a house in Rudina, a peaceful village surrounded by olive trees on the peninsula of Kabal.

Ideally located between Hvar and Jelsa, 2km from Stari Grad, close to the sea and hiking/biking trails.

The guests enjoy the exclusive use of the garden and BBQ. Privacy and tranquillity guaranteed!

The famous Zukova Bay (known for its crystal clear waters and calm, ideal for swimming) is accessible in less than 15 minutes by foot through the forest.

The apartment has a separate entrance and directly overlooks the garden.

It consists of a large living room with library (books in several languages), a dining room, a kitchen (oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher), a large bathroom with Italian shower, two bedrooms (double bed and twin beds) as well as a sofa bed in the living room.

The house is surrounded by a garden with olive trees and other Mediterranean fruit trees.

Very nice apartment in a great location

We spent 10 days in this beautiful apartment. Catherine was very helpful, thanks again for your recommendations. It’s just a 10min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches, to Stari Grad with plenty of restaurants and bars it‘s just a 5min drive. Overall we had a perfect stay on island Hvar and can fully recommend Maslina Tree House.

Ein erholsamer Urlaub

Wir als Familie haben die 14 Tage in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Schon bei der Anreise haben wir wertvolle Tipps von Catherine erhalten. Es empfiehlt sich unbedingt die Fähre ein paar Tage vorher online zu buchen, da diese stets komplett voll ist. Alles in der Ferienwohnung war wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden gestellt und nach einer Woche gewechselt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man zum Kochen braucht und die Außenanlage mit dem Grill stand uns exklusiv zur Verfügung. Sogar die Kohle wurde von Catherine gestellt und sie hat es abgelehnt, dass wir neue besorgen. Jedes Zimmer ist mit einem Deckenventilator ausgestattet und in Kombination mit der Klimaanlage konnten wir wohltemperiert schlafen. Ohne diese Zusatzaustattung hätten wir die heißen Temperaturen nicht aushalten können. Catherine wohnt zwar über der Ferienwohnung, sie war jedoch stets sehr dezent und wir haben von ihrer Anwesenheit nichts mitbekommen. Fragen/ Informationen haben wir schnell über SMS geklärt. Der Kontakt mit ihr war immer sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Den Strand in der Nähe (10 - 15 min zu Fuß) haben wir sehr lieb gewonnen. Er ist sauber und nicht so stark überlaufen. Der Schwimmerbreich ist mit einer Kette abgegrenzt. Da der Grund schnell abfällt, sollte man aber schwimmen können oder zumindest über Schwimmhilfen abgesichert sein. Die Kinder und wir hatten viel Spaß am Schnorcheln. Wir sahen viele Fische und einmal sogar einen großen Oktopus.

Un petit coin de paradis

Loin de la foule des grandes villes, nous avons passé quelques jours merveilleux dans cet appartement qui occupe tout le rdc. Catherine est aux petits soins. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le jardin et le petit coin de baignade. Merci encore!

Tolles Ferienhaus!

Genau wie in der Beschreibung! Haus ist gemütlich und alles da was man braucht! Vermieterin ist in der Wohnung drüber und total nett und wahnsinnig hilfsbereit. Die nächste Bucht ist ca 15 Min weg, Allerdings der Weg nicht für kleine Kinder geeignet, für Erwachsene kein Problem! Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Traumhaftes Quartier in ruhiger Lage

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, gute Ausstattung. Der Garten und Grill durften mitbenutzt werden. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hat gute Tipps zur Erkundung der Insel. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement parfait tant en termes d'équipements que de décoration. Idéal pour 4. Il dispose en plus d'un extérieur avec un barbecue permettant de prendre tous les repas dehors. Très bien situé dans un environnement calme, proche d'une plage magnifique accessible à pieds (bien chaussés!) et à proximité de la très belle ville de Stari Grad. Plein de possibilités de visites, de randonnées à pieds ou à vélo à faire sur cette île. La propriétaire donne également plein de conseils sur les choses à faire ou les bons restaurants à découvrir !

Un petit coin de paradis ...

Super séjour, la maison est pour nous idéalement placée: au calme et à quelques km de tout. On a particulièrement apprécié l’accueil de Catherine et ses précieux conseils, merci ! La plage à 10mn à pied est super agréable avec ces grandes pierres plates.

We had a lovely holiday here and our host Catherine was just the right combination of welcoming, helpful and discrete. When we had any problems (only minor) or requests for information she was very willing to help us and advise. Sometimes it was a little too hot for us, but that was to be expected at this season. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de deux semaines à Rudina. L'appartement est très confortable et bien équipé pour une famille de deux adultes et deux enfants. Le jardin et l'abri extérieur avec barbecue sont à la disposition exclusive des locataires. L'environnement est très calme. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Catherine, la propriétaire, qui nous a apporté plein de bons conseils. L'appartement est très bien situé : à deux kilomètres de Stari Grad pour les commerces, services et restaurants, et à proximité de beaucoup d'autres lieux de visites, promenade et baignade. Il est possible de se rendre à pied dans la magnifique baie de Zukova en empruntant un chemin piétonnier à travers la forêt. En résumé, excellent lieu de séjour !

magnifique appartement calme moderne et chaleureux

Partis en Croatie avec nos deux jeunes enfants pour un road trip depuis Marseille, nous avons décidé de poser nos bagages, au mois d’août, pour 10 jours de repos à la Maslina Tree House à Rudina sur l’île de Hvar. Nous avons été formidablement reçus par Catherine, la propriétaire des lieux. Après un accueil chaleureux et une visite des lieux, nous avons posé nos valises au RDC de cette maison refaite avec gout et avec tout l’équipement moderne nécessaire (TV, wi fi, cuisine équipée) dans un calme absolu. L’appartement est bien agencé avec ses deux chambres, sa cuisine fonctionnelle et son salon. Tout est hyper propre et joliment décoré. On se sent comme chez soi dans ce bel appartement avec son jardin et surtout son barbecue qui nous était entièrement réservé. Avec l’aide de la propriétaire, nous avons vite pris nos repères pour faire nos courses et trouver des poissons extra frais que nous faisions griller, presque tous les soirs, sur le fameux BBQ, puis que nous dégustions sur notre grande table extérieure en profitant du calme et des belles nuits de Rudina. Nos filles ont adoré leur chambre et la situation puisque nous pouvions avoir accès, à peine en 15 minutes, à la baie de Zukova. Catherine nous a prêté gentiment un bateau pneumatique pour les enfants pendant que nous nous prélassions sur les pierres plates. Magique ! Pour les 11 ans de notre fille, Catherine nous a guidés vers un pâtissier français à Rudina qui nous a fait une composition sucrée « aux petits oignons ». N’hésitez donc pas à la solliciter pour être guidés vers les bons restaurants, les artisans et bien sur, les excursions et les petites astuces pour faire du vélo, occuper vos enfants, dénicher des coins authentiques, et vous renseigner sur les horaires des traversées vers Split. A noter, que vous pouvez, sur réservation, vous faire masser sur place ! Un plus sans aucun doute pour parfaire la relaxation. A recommander donc sans aucune hésitation !

Wonderful stay - beautiful and so close to Zukova!

We travelled with our two teenage kids and spent a week in this beautiful house. Our host, who is French, was very helpful and gave us excellent information on restaurants, travel timetables, beach locations, etc. She is very discrete but always available to answer all our questions. The apartment is on the ground floor of a house but has a separate entrance and we had the garden and the BBQ area to ourselves. We had BBQ almost every night, which was wonderful. Our host helped us buy fresh fish from the local fishermen and even offered us a bottle of wine to accompany it (local biodynamic wine, excellent!). The apartment itself has been recently renovated and is very nicely decorated. It has a large open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area with modern equipment. The bathroom was big enough for the whole family and even had an Italian shower. And the two bedrooms are beautiful rooms, with a lot of nice details. The apartment is about 2km from Stari Grad. We walked to town almost every day (20 minutes) and just took a taxi (quick and cheap) when we were too tired to walk back. We just loved being in such a beautiful village, away from the hustle of the town. And very close to a beautiful bay, Zukova: we visited a few beaches on Hvar island but this was our favourite, and only 15 minutes walk from the house - incredibly quiet, isolated and beautiful clear waters. This was a real highlight when the temperatures were high. One last thing: there are in-house massage services available. I treated myself with a feet reflexology massage which was wonderful. I cannot recommend this apartment enough!
