The Long Point Beach cabin, located minutes from historical
Coupeville on Whidbey Island is a quaint waterfront cabin designed
for individuals wanting to 'get away from it all!' The 180-degree
views provide stunning vistas of Saratoga Passage, Camano Island,
Oak Harbor and Mount Baker.
Walk out the front door and onto the sandy beach where you can enjoy
miles of beachcombing, bird-watching and wildlife viewing. Deer and
rabbits line the street side, while blue heron, grey whales, and
harbor seals will entertain you seaside.
Whether discovering Ebey's landing, walking through the town of
Coupeville, exploring Fort Casey or just sitting on the deck, our
cabin provides the perfect casual retreat for couples or families.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Lock the doors
Please do not put crab remains in the trash. Please dispose in the bay.
When running the dishwasher, put a small amount of vinegar in with the dishes and they will come out much cleaner.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Water Craft such as the row boat or kayaks, must pulled up and tied up when not in use to avoid loss due to tide changes. Life vests are mandatory.
For your protection and the protection of the property, external video cams are used to view the street and the beach. If any concerns let us know.
Check in is 4 pm and check out is 11 am allowing for cleaning. If there is no same day rental we are flexible on the times with prior agreement.

Super smooth check-in and check-out process. Very well stocked kitchen with the best view of the cove while doing any dishes by hand. We looked up after playing a game to see the blow spray from a gray whale swimming off shore! A harbor seal was looking for breakfast right in front of the house. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet getaway with easy access to nature.

Awesome Beach Stay

This is an amazing place. Quit sandy beach with a fantastic view of Mt Baker. Sheltered from the wind. If you are looking for a cabin on the beach this, is it. Definitely want to go back again.

Lovely Time at the Beach Cabin

My sister and I had lovely time at the Beach Cabin. It's a nice beach front cabin with a great view of Penn Cove. In a quiet neighborhood, it's the perfect place to be on the beach while still being an easy drive to other places on Whidbey Island.

Sensational experience

My adult kids and I stayed in this wonderful cabin. We watched Orcas, herons, quail, gulls, killdeer and more. The cabin is charming. The location, ideal. So quiet but an easy drive to Coupeville. We enjoyed beach fires and just hanging in the cabin with a fire and backgammon. The kitchen is so well supplied. We all hope to return.

Our Favorite Cabin

We stay at 3 - 4 properties on Whidbey each year but this is our favorite spot! The Lincoln log style cabin is so charming, the furnishings are very comfortable and the location can't be beat. We've made it a yearly tradition to spend my husband's birthday here and we've taught our children the basics of boating safety with the double kayaks. Fabulous place!!!!

Beautiful, fun, restorative

The house has everything you need to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Close to Front Street and the sculpture garden and well equipped with bedding, towels, kitchen things, and even boats. We have been more than once and will be back next year!

Awesome Location

Location couldn't be better! We enjoyed the rowboat, firepit, and the bald eagle watching. Just a quick drive to Coupeville, yet a quiet neighborhood. Our party included four adults and two kids, and there was plenty of room for all. Good communication with Chris, the host, too. The view is mesmerizing!

We have stayed at Long Point Cabin about 6 times. My daughter, and her husband have it,as well. Couldnt ask for more. Location, beach, cabin and amentieties are unbelievable. Chris, the owner is one of the nicest people ever. Always sad when we have to pack up and leave. Wonderfulbplace to make family memories. Thank you Chris!

Rustic Beachfront Homey Cabin

Loved the cozy cabin and especially the beachfront location. Our daily beach walks were rejuvenating and our dogs loved the freedom of safely running up and down the beach. The few downsides: Penn Cove is in the Navy jet training flight path. They didn’t fly every day but when they did it was very loud. Also, vacuuming up the dust bunnies and under the beds could have been better. That being said the bathroom was very clean. It is an older well loved cabin that families would feel very comfortable for a fun vacation.

We recently purchased a robotic vacuum to address the dust bunnies, so thank you for bringing that to our attention. Sometimes the jets will do flyovers and then you will not hear them for awhile.

Perfect for our family reunion

I was pretty nervous as we headed out to Whidbey, after dragging my family from across the country, but the house couldn't have been more perfect! Right on the water, we were able to watch gorgeous sunrises, keep an eye on the herons, porpoises, and seals, and take in Mt Baker! I've never seen a more thoroughly outfitted kitchen (food processors, griddle, waffle iron, coffee grinder, crock pot, the list goes on!). Coupeville is a really cute little town with really friendly people. It was a quick drive from the house and we even walked into town one day. The arrangement of the house made it easy for all 7 of us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. I'd recommend the house to anyone looking to host a crowd!

Best Home for Family Gatherings

We cannot say enough about the host of the Long Point Beach House. He is a very kind man. The home is situated on one of the best beaches on Whidbey Island. Great for walking your dogs, kids or just sitting watching the wildlife. We have rented from Chris now for probably about 10 times between our families. Most of our time was spent enjoying the beach the wonderful kitchen for Gathering and just relaxing on the deck. The home is located in the area, where you could even walk to Coupeville if you wanted. They're beautiful deer within the countryside. We also had a lot of fires during our stay, as there is a beautiful fireplace and mantle to sit and just enjoy. It was fun to watch people dig for clams on the beach for a few days, and watch the seals chase the fish. It's always hard when it comes time to leave the house and return to Seattle. But we already have reservations in October. Thank you Chris Judd for the wonderful stay as always!Margaret and Lance/Family
