Windways is a beautiful and stately old Bahamian House built in the mid 1900's. The house has been updated and it has a wonderful family feel. The house has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The house has large living, dining and family rooms as well as a large kitchen and breakfast nook area. A one bedroom cottage is also on property and is included in the booking. The property is huge with lots of bearing fruit trees. There is also two enclosed patios and a two car garage. Private chef option available.

Clean place, huge house

Myself and 10 other girls stayed in this house for a bachelorette trip for 6 days and we had 0 complaints! The place was exactly was pictured and was very clean upon arrival! Would definitely stay here again

Tropical Wedding

We were in Nassau for our daughter's wedding and Windways was perfect accomodations for everyone. There was room enough for everyone to gather together, as well as sneak away for quiet time. The grounds made for lovely family photos and everyone enjoyed the pool, the grill and meals outdoors.

The grounds are lush and beautiful and the house is updated and very spacious! Our group of 12 had plenty of space to spread out and gather together. The pool was the perfect spot to have fun and cool off. We did not receive the door code ahead of time, but was able to call guest services and they helped. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe with the entire property being walled and gated. Every bedroom had its own AC unit although the shared spaces got a little warm in the heat of the day bc the AC settings reverted back when we left the house. Overall, we would stay here again!

Beautiful property

Our family of 7 just spent a week at this amazing home in Nassau. Well maintained historic home with modern features. Gorgeous, large kitchen with a big round table in the dining area. Great for meals and playing games! Four spacious, comfortable bedrooms, each with their own large bathroom. The outside property is beautiful and private, with fruit trees, plants and bushes surrounding the home. Outdoor dining and bar area, with a nice BBQ is next to a very nice in-ground pool, with lots of lounge chairs. Security system is top notch, though the home is in a very nice neighborhood. We were greeted by Charmane, who was just lovely and gave us a tour of the home. Scott and Kent were very helpful and gracious.

The hosts were over the top in terms of service. We were a family of 13 aged from 1 to 72 and we all agree top notch!! One small issue the host couldn't have known about but when we pointed it out there were 2 maintenance guys there asap!!

The property has good bones. If you squint hard enough, it's really lovely. The size of the space, layout, and amenities give it solid potential as a vacation home. The outside is nicely landscaped. The high ceilings and molding have character.On the other hand, many little things don't work. The master bathroom shower didn't get hot water. The house has an ant infestation (the ants are tiny). We couldn’t get several of the stovetop burners to work. The outdoor compressors for the air conditioning are quite loud. Several lights are burned out (the oven light, pendant light above the kitchen island). We couldn't get the Sonos sound system to work. The garage door was inoperable. There's no washer and dryer. Much of the furniture, appliances, decor, and structure was dated. Like furniture you'd find at a garage sale.The several blocks around the property (Montague Heights) are pretty nice, and they have more character and authenticity than a resort property. But the broader, surrounding area is filled with abject poverty and few amenities.

WOW!!!!

The pictures don't do Windways justice. My group and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful estate and all it's amenities. Particularly the pool and outdoor kitchen that was wired for sound. There are bathrooms EVERYWHERE, and it has a TRUE gourmet kitchen. Our only complaint was that we felt a little mislead that the cottage had to be booked separately, especially since the pictures were displayed as one property. We will DEFINITELY be back...possibly next summer. We even spoke with the manager about hiring a chef 🤷🏾‍♂️

Fun family vacation

Very large, beautiful home! Pool was stellar and we loved the outside area with large table. Ten family members including 2 small children enjoyed a week of pool time and visiting Nassau. Can’t say enough good things about property manager Kent! Super nice and helpful at every turn. Especially with my broken wrist event mid week! He quickly got us to the hospital and was on alert to pick us up. Great food delivery from Silk Cotton-food was delicious too. Don’t miss Graycliff for dinner-it is expensive but a real event to experience. Also the Friday night fish fry-excellent Bahamian food. Loved Windways!

Best vacation at Windways!

This vacation by far is the best ever! The house and staff are absolutely amazing. 12 adults with more than enough room in this beautiful mansion. Everything about the house was over the top. And did I mention the beautiful pool! Our thanks to Kevin and Lee for transporting us in the big air conditioned van. What nice polite guys. To the housekeeping staff for having the place immaculate when we got there. Kent was always responsive and helpful anytime we needed him or just had a question. Thank you so much! And to Scott for coming by to check on us and hanging out awhile. You are such a nice person and you made us feel like family. We were sad to leave but will definitely be returning soon. Resorts are definitely not for this group! The Windways house and staff are more than 5 stars! Sincerely, Sherry Cole, friends and family....

Traumhafte Ferienvilla

Wie im Paradies ... wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser gemietet, aber Windways war der absolute Traum. Tolle Einrichtung, sehr geschmackvoll, ein wunderbares Masterbedroom, tolle Küche und ein phänomenaler Garten mit Pool. Falls wir mal wieder auf die Bahamas kommen, dann definitiv wieder in das Windways.

Beautiful!

Eight of us just spent Thanksgiving week at Windways - 5 adults and 3 kids aged 10 and under. What a treat! It's beautifully restored and spacious...the pool added a lot of fun for kiddos and grownups alike. The garage full of pool floaties was an added bonus and entertained us all for hours on end! We grilled dinner every night poolside, and also enjoyed a few grilled breakfast buffets. It's very close to area attractions (we visited Atlantis and Blue Lagoon), grocery stores, etc. I would highly recommend this little slice of heaven and look forward to going back. We had a ball!!

Beautiful property & home would highly recommend!

We just spent 7 nights at this beautiful renovated estate home with our family of 6 adults and 2 children (2 & 4 yrs old) and can’t say enough good things about it. Every room with it’s own ensuite was perfect and the pool itself with a shallow end and steps into the deeper end was perfect for the little ones. Scott and Kent are friendly and helpful for all your needs: We mentioned that one of the shower head wasn’t working properly and they had it replace the next day. If you are looking for a large private yard and great location this is your rental.

House was beautiful with upgraded amenities but with the charm of when it was built.

Family had a phenomenal time celebrating my wife's 30th birthday. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor dining area. Every room was well decorated. Very safe as well since entire compound was gated. It took up the entire block so no neighbors. I would highly recommend Chef Perry Sweeting if you want to splurge on a personal chef. Also, Kendall King Taxi service was great. We had a large group and his luxury bus was able to accommodate everyone. He drove us every day and it costed less than renting two minivans for the week. We felt like celebraties for the week. Would highly recommend WindWays.

What a beautiful property!

My family and I had the most wonderful time at the Windways Estate. The home was even more lovely in person. The property was so spacious, well kept and decorated. An extremely safe neighborhood, nearby to the Atlantis resort, which was one of the reasons for our trip. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

Beautiful Property - Lots of Privacy - Perfect Location for families!

We stayed at the "Windways" property for 7 days. It was absolutely beautiful!! The grounds were lush and well groomed for privacy, along with an outdoor grill, sit around bar area, and an amazing pool. The house was large and spacious inside and each room had its own private bathroom. The house staff who helped us were a couple of amazing ladies, kind, polite, professional, and I enjoyed talking with them. My family did a lot of BBQ's outside by the pool. Having a private pool available was the best choice we made when choosing a rental, we used it the entire week. When we left to the airport, one of our family members left his passport in the bedroom nightstand. I called the house staff and she immediatly got in touch with Kent (PM), who rushed it over to us at the airport. It was after we had already turned in out rental car and didn't have a way back to the property. I can not thank them enough for making my families first time to the Bahamas a memorable experience. We hope to visit the Island again soon. Thank you Windways staff, it was amazing!

Fantastic Vacation

The house is gorgeous. The staff were beyond helpful and ensured our stay was very relaxing. We all slept well in the very comfortable bedrooms, made breakfast and lunch in the large, open kitchen. The property was clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again.

The Most Gorgeous Property

I recently stayed at Windways with 7 other girlfriends for my birthday. I absolutely loved this property. It was so beautiful and comfortable, we barely left the house, because we enjoyed it so much. The pool was amazing and the house was big enough for everyone to find their own corner and relax. The communal table outside was perfect for us to dine and we even used the grill. What can I say it was a perfect vacation home for 8 women. I would recommend this property to anyone. Its a sight to behold in person.

Charming, elegant and peaceful

The newly refurbished Windways estate is beautiful, to say the least. The charmingly appointed bedrooms along with the tastefully furnished salon and sitting room, allow for a family to find privacy or gather together if they so desire. The outdoor areas were just perfect; the pool and inviting pool furniture, not to mention the expansive garden with numerous areas of shade that just beckon you to settle down with a good book. My family had an amazing time celebrating my sister's birthday! All in all, we had a perfect weekend and are already planning for our return. Thank you Scott and team!

Scott and his staff were awesome

We did not actually stay at this location due to the fact that some renovations for it ran over. Instead, we were put in a different house for our vacation that is not listed on this site. So, I can only comment on how great Scott and his staff were. All of our questions were answered and everything we requested before out trip, like a baby crib and high chair, were there waiting for us. Also the locals were all very nice and accommodating. My family and I loved all of it and even though the kids all threw huge fits about not wanting to go home it was all worth it. You can definitely count this as a recommendation from my family to yours.

Best Christmas Vacation Ever!

Due to extensive renovations to Windways, our host, relocated us to the beautiful Victoria House which is one of only three houses on a very private beach - a definite upgrade from our original reservation. Our host decorated the house with a Christmas Holiday theme, which was a big hit with the children and adults alike. The house was so spacious that it easily accommodated the 12 people in our party. It was also conveniently located to Atlantis and other fun spots in Nassau. However, the crystal clear waters and the opportunity to snorkel kept all of us happily relaxed at the beach most of the time. The house also had its own pool, a large indoor and outdoor patio, as well as a terrace where we ate most of our meals listening to the waves washing along the shore and watching the sun quietly set on the Bahamas. What a treat! The owner also greeted us with a lovely basket of fruit, a starter kit for our first breakfast, beer, wine and soda. We were also offered daily maid service. Some minor problems with the internet and TVs were quickly attended to by the owner despite the holidays. We were very impressed with the level of attention and service we received. It far exceeded our expectations. The owner and his team were very quick to answer questions about local eating, shopping, etc. We all felt as if we were their personal guests not just a customer. I would highly recommend renting from this owner. I don't think you will be disappointed in the least. In fact, I would rent from Scott and his team again without hesitation and have told family and friends about our stay.
