Prime corner ocean view location just steps from pristine Pacific Beach. Two-story, 3 brdm + loft, 2-1/2 bath with view from every room. Nautical decor throughout.

Open-concept living, dining, kitchen, sunroom, plus master bdrm w/walk in shower bath on main floor. Freestanding gas fireplace and flat screen HDTV in living room. Cozy sunroom to sip your morning coffee or watch the evening sunset. WIFI throughout

All second floor bedrooms have ocean views and vaulted ceilings. Two queen bdrms, and a loft with 2 twins. Full tub bath accessible to all rooms.

Wonderful, well appointed kitchen with all appliances and amenities for cooking & entertaining. Charming beach theme serving pieces and linens for casual or formal meals.

Covered entry mud room leads to full laundry. Large southern exposure cedar deck and covered BBQ area protected from wind and directly accessible to lower living areas. Excellent deck furniture and beautifully landscaped fenced yard, perfect for your dog. Plenty of parking.

The house has no landline phone and some cellular services are weak, but WiFi works for reliable FaceTime calls.

Everything was amazing! Kristen and Scott were very responsive and the house was perfect. It was stocked with more cooking gadgets than we have at our home, and was perfect for making our Christmas dinner. This beautifully decorated home was way more than we expected. Very clean, was well stocked with everything we would need, including pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cutting boards, baking pans, etc. That’s just the kitchen. All the bedrooms and bathrooms had more than enough fluffy towels and washcloths. The beds were all very comfortable, the bedding & pillows very lovely. The decore throughout could be featured in Better Home & Gardens. All the furniture was so very comfortable. All we had to do was bring our clothes & food. Then there’s the outside! Lovely fenced yard. And the view! The beach was less than a block away. House is wonderfully situated on a corner lot. The lawn was beautifully kept. Lush & green. This place was a breath of fresh air!

We are native Pacific Northwesterners that have vacationed on the Washington coast all of our lives. We were even married on a beach nearby. What a thrill it is to have such a lovely home in an ideal location for our family to use. It is also a joy for us to be able to share it with wonderful renters and know that they are as thrilled as we are when they step through the door!

Why they chose this property

We have regularly stayed at Pacific Beach and have always admired the location and charm of Sail Away Cottage. The layout is ideal for our immediate and extended family as we hope it will be for all of our rental guests. The decor is perfectly fitting of an idyllic beach getaway, charming, yet casual and very comfortable. The darling sleepy village has the basic necessities just a few steps from our front porch, but most importantly, we love it for the wide open beautiful beach, walks, kite flying, castle building, clamming and campfires. Summer is great, spring and fall maybe better and wild stormy winters, perhaps best!

What makes this property unique

This beautifully built and decorated cottage is amazing in every way. It even has a picket fence! Location to the beach is as good or better than any in town, and one can walk to coffee and groceries as well.
