This house is awesome with spectacular views overlooking the River. It has 2 large decks overlooking the river.

The house was just recently remodeled with all new furnishings. All of the furniture is completely new with modern finishes. It is very large and spacious with open beam - vaulted ceilings. It is over 2000 sqft and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are 2 separate living areas.
The Yosemite River home is conveniently close to everything, although away from everything just enough to enjoy some Peace and quiet, spectacular views, and fresh air. The spacious balcony deck will be your source of relaxation under the stars after a long day of wonderful adventures in the local area and park.
Amenities include central heat/AC, 2 - 55" TVs and DVD player, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, unlimited free WIFI, washer and dryer, board games.

Bedding, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, and iron are all provided.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home: dishes, mugs, pots, pans, a coffee maker and much more!
We took our time to put together something special in the property that even though your in natures elements, you can feel safe, clean, comfortable and cozy in a newly remodeled property on the River. We put all new Furnishings from the couches, chairs, tables, beds, everything. It is something amazing and absolutely beautiful

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is on the river technically, however the river is at the bottom of a very very steep hill. Everything needs updating, from the pots and pans to the carpet. My family all slept well and we enjoyed having so much space. Being so close to Yosemite South entrance was really nice.

Nice but not as clean

When we got inside we immediately noticed that it wasn’t as clean. The floors had dog hair and there were ants on the walls. There was also spider webs from the lights and there was a dead roach under one of the beds. Aside from the cleanliness of the house it had a nice view and enjoyed our stay at the house.

Sweet location, small issues, loved overall

We loved this little cabin stay! It’s nice and close to Yosemite, just about ten minutes to a good grocery store. We loved the waterfall in back that makes fantastic sounds and the beautiful view. There was plenty of space for each of us and three functional bathrooms which was fantastic. What we didn’t love was that the AC has a hard time keeping up with the heat outside (on the main level) and, because of the heat and the windows, working or cooking in the kitchen is like being in hell. Mind you, the outside temps were over 100 the week we were there. Maybe eat out for dinners? Generally we loved it and it was very comfortable and cute and a great choice for us.

Deceitful pictures

The home was old and unkept cabinets were old, countertops really bad, AC only worked downstairs, clothes dryer did not work at all, carpet was filthy , the top balcony has a safety issue it’s not secured someone is going to fall 50ft and die. I could continue but what’s the use. Do Not choose this home pay the extra for a better home

Yosemite

There was 1 broken chair on the upper deck; the stream is pretty but down a steep hill and not accessible ; the kitchen was clean but cabinets warn and water streaked; chipped counters and not inviting for cooking. the windows in kitchen and living room with the sun screens had a lot of cob webs and gave a creepy feel. The lower level is air conditioned and my husband and I slept there. The lower level and laundry carpets are stained and should be replaced. Location to South Park gate was fine, driving to the village in the park was long. We were glad our 5 year old grandchild did not come, the yard is steep and the deck is high and supported by 4x4's. The house needs a repaint and deep clean, but surface clean was fine. towels, dishes, bathrooms all clean. Good communication on getting in and out of house. quiet location.

Very Disappointing!

House is overall dirty. There was spider webs and dust all around walls that were very visible and disgusting. I reached out to owner and he sent out housekeeper and she told me spider webs were just cleaned 2 days prior when it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in years! I don’t think that house has ever been deep cleaned. The shower had rust. Shower curtains were very old and grimy. The kitchen cabinets and countertops were in very poor conditions and not recently remodeled as stated in description. All the kitchen ware is very old and cheap. There was debri all over and around kitchen utensils. Yosemite was 30 minutes away not 15. There’s no safe way to access the creek from the house. Don’t waste your money with this property. Very disappointing and wished we would’ve stayed elsewhere.

Nice property with a great view

House was nice and view was amazing. Loved listening to the creek below and watching the wild turkeys and chipmunks. Away from town but close to stores and restaurants.

Beautiful home but not a good stay for the summer

The house itself was very pretty. The creek is not easily accessible plus its next to the freeway. We went on June 18-21 and as soon as we got there, the house was extremely hot. We immediately turned on the AC but the house did not get cooler than 82 degrees. Our entire stay was uncomfortable due to the temperature of the house. The house needs a new AC system. Besides being hot all day except in the mornings, our overall stay was nice. Its located near shops in Oakhurst. It has plenty of space for a large group. Do be careful with spiders and insects inside the house. We had to kill a huge dangerous spider we found in the bathroom.

Nice but not real nice

Nice space in home. Air Conditioning did not work great during the day but we weren’t there much. House needs a thorough cleaning and probably new carpet. Pictures make it seem like River is right under balcony when it is actually pretty far down and not accessible.

Beautiful Home

This home is beautifully situated. As soon as you open the door to the deck you hear the beautiful water flowing creek. We did not trek down to water but took a walk around the neighborhood you compe up to park where you can get a little closer. Park nicely situated when traveling with children if interested. The home was beautifully decorated and spacious, kitchen is well equipped all you need is there. I would definitely come back. Thank you Sajith for opening your home to us.

Great time away from home

This was a great home to stay while away from our own home. It has everything you need to cook. I like how the bedrooms were in different floors. The downstairs room and the living room has a great patio with a view to a beautiful river stream. I would definitely stay here again.

Cleaning needs to be improved!

The location of the property is ideal for visiting Yosemite or Bass Lake and is close to town for shops and grocery stores. The home is large enough for 2 -3 families and the onsite views and BBQ are pluses. However, the cleanliness of the home was very poor and it’s in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Upon arrival we discovered that one of the refrigerator doors was full of slime and dishes had caked on food. The dishwasher was broken and only 3 of the 4 burners on the stove were working. One of the showers had a black ring of grime and there were cobwebs all over the home. It was clear that the property has not been cleaned often. Prior to our arrival I had emailed the owner to ensure the cleaning was up to CDC standards and he assured me it was, but obviously it was not. When we arrived we had to sanitize all the high touch areas and washed all the dishes by hand. Not a great way to start a vacation when you want to come and just relax. After the 3rd night one of the bathrooms got plugged and stopped working. I texted the owner but didn’t get an update from him until several hours later and was just advised to use another bathroom in the home. He advised that he would refund me for the cleaning (still waiting). Also, the creek that is under the house is not easily accessible and the top deck railing is loose and the deck stability was a bit scary. I think this would be a great place to stay if the cleaning was improved and the appliances were fixed to make the stay more enjoyable.

Family getaway.

This is a beautiful property. The creek running behind was a bonus. There was a note on the counter when we arrived that the dishwasher was broken, but other than that everything was in great shape. I would recommend this property.

Close to bass lake

This property was beautiful. It was so close of a drive to bass lake it was easy. Close to town to run for things forgotten but the kitchen was fully ready with pots and pans and dishes for cooking it was awesome. Only thing was that the house to the creek was a very steep climb so just be aware but it was fun to go down and sit at the creek. We had breakfast outside in the mornings and listened to the running water. It was amazing. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us 4 adults and 6 kids. Had a great time.

Great Place to spend with family and friends

Loved this place. It had all amenities that was listed and information provided were accurate. Spent the Christmas eve and 25th here with family and friends. The house was fabulous, spacious,well maintained with all bed rooms were in different floors and were amply large. It was a perfect relaxing place for us to stay on our way to Yosemite which was about 30 minutes drive to the park entrance. It was very easy to contact Sajith and he was helpful with information for our trip.This would be definitely a nice spot for spring vacation as well.Liked the creek behind the house a lot and enjoyed the scenic beauty . A good vacation spot for any time of the year and we will certainly come again and would recommend this place.

Absolute Gem. Clean tidy and conveniently located

We had a great time at Sajith's place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly as it does on the pictures. It was very clean and has everything you need for cooking bbq. We went down to the creek behind the house took a bath and had very relaxing weekend. It is very conveniently located to the Yosemite park and bass lake. I would absolutely visit again !
