Cute, cozy cottage getaway

Cute, cozy, and cheery...this little ranch house is on a quiet street in the quaint fishing village of Wenona, a small community on the southern tip of Deal Island. Crabbing and oystering are a way of life on the island. It makes for a peaceful vacation retreat. Even though water view is from just one window in the house, what this does mean is that you are very close to water...just minutes from a public boat ramp! This little house lives large and pleasant with its newly remodeled kitchen offering plenty of counter space, lots of big windows and bright light, and fresh paint throughout. We have so enjoyed this home and hope you will too with your next visit to Deal Island.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO on Deal Island. The area is absolutely beautiful, and the quiet, peaceful setting was exactly what we needed. The neighborhood is super friendly too. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and relax! Will definitely be booking again for another wonderful trip.

This was the perfect little getaway stay! The home was super clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and the check in/lock box was easy to use. The full kitchen came in handy for our budget; we were able to go grocery shopping beforehand and cook our meals there to save on costs.

Wonderful Stay

We loved this little house on the peaceful island. The house was very clean, with comfortable furniture and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The island scenery was so beautiful and relaxing. We made day trips to Raccoon Point and Chincoteague for some beach time. The house stayed cool despite a major heat wave, so it was the perfect place to unwind after a summer day out. Would definitely recommend!

Little House in Wenona

I absolutely love this property. It is filled with everything you need for any length of stay. I always bring my GSD - she loves going for walks and seeing all of the wildlife.

Quiet and cozy

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. The skipjacks were showing up for the races when we were there and the small beach was a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Got to see the sika deer the first night there and it was overall a very comfortable place to stay.

Excellent Accommodations

Awesome place to stay.The house is wonderful and very clean. Was a little disappointed due to all of the private property surrounding us, but there is plenty to due in the surrounding areas . We enjoyed the beach a few minutes up the road and found lots of fresh seafood close by. The history was also nice to learn about the area.The neighbors are pleasant and friendly too.
