Heaven for climbers

Maria’s spot is a must-stay for climbers. To start, Maria communicates very well to help set up a taxi to and from the port of Kalymnos. Our driver Rafael is the man. The apartment couldn’t possible be in a better location. 10 minutes to the Poets wall, 35 mins to the Grande Grotta, and all the walls between the two are just outside the back door. We would absolutely stay here the next time we’re in town.

The property in the photos is not the property we were given to stay at. That said, the property where we DID stay was better. Instead of Massouri, we were in Myrties. Instead of a 3 BR, we had a 2 BR. Instead of being up the mountain, we were right on the water. It was a fair trade in our book.We loved where we did stay. Location was great. Place was clean. Host was helpful.

Die Wohnung liegt wunderbar ruhig und dennoch günstig, um Restaurants und Einkäufe in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Terrasse ist groß, die Aussicht toll. Da die Servicekraft wohl krank war, ließ die Sauberkeit leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. Das Gefrierfach quoll über von Eis. Auch wäre eine Erneuerung von Betten und Bettwäsche angebracht. Die Vermieterin war aber sehr hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar und wir durften am Abreisetag bis abends in der Unterkunft bleiben. Für den Preis hätten wir aber ein besseres Niveau erwartet.

Great place, great location

The property is in a great location. You can walk to the other end of Massouri in about 15 minutes. The owner, Maria, is very responsive to any questions and requests. The only suggestions are to put in a full-length mirror somewhere in the unit and provide a broom and dustpan so renters can sweep up the sand that will inevitably be brought in after a day on the beach. Those were minor issues though.

Geräumig große Ferienwohnung

Insgesamt ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub. Nur leider ist genau hinter dem Haus eine Baustelle in der unter der Woche teilweise zwischen 9-14:30 sehr laut gearbeitet wird.jedoch ist Maria sehr aufmerksam und versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen!
