This lower ground one bedroom, one bathroom apartment rental on the ground floor offers a private walled garden with dining furniture and barbecue facilities. Complimentary wifi during your stay.

The lounge/dining room has a Smart TV and access to the Community TV channels Patio doors lead to the private walled garden with table and chairs, This is an apartment for either a couple or single occupant.

The kitchen has a washing machine, oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.

The sleeping area is separated from the lounge area by a partial wall and has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. Please note the bedroom does not have a window.

The bathroom offers a shower, vanity sink unit and toilet.

**Please note that this apartment really benefits guests in the summer by being lower ground it stays cooler in the apartment vs apartments higher up. It does get sun in the garden in the spring, summer and autumn but not so much in the winter when the sun is lower in the sky. In the winter therefore, it can be chillier in the apartment. Heaters are supplied but due to limiters installed in properties in Spain you cannot have too may appliances running. **

About La Manga club La Manga Club is a private 1400-acre resort situated on the lower slopes of the pine-covered Murcian hills amongst lemon groves. The crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean are nearby. Located on the Costa Calida (warm coast) the weather allows for all year round sports. As well as being a golfer's delight, the resort has one of the most highly regarded tennis centre's in Europe (28 courts), health and fitness centre, water sports, horse riding, swimming pools, restaurants and bars.

Attractive and conveniently located

I have stayed in this apartment a few times now with my partner. It is ideal for us containing everything we need. We really like the garden and often sit out in the afternoons and evenings. It is well located close to the Bellaluz pool and square. Its a short walk to the tennis centre and other amenities. We love La Manga and intend to revisit it and this apartment in 2009!

La Manga Apartment

I went to La Manga for a wedding with family staying nearby. The apartment was closed to the pool, where we all met up daily, closed to restaurants and some shops. Short walk to other facilities on the complex. Quite a bit of walking involved, which I enjoy but not for everyone. Loved to sit out in the small garden for morning coffee. The whole complex was very well kept and very clean.

From the first night, i was planning to leave to stay in a hotel, as the place was dark and smelt damp. The door stuck half way as you entered. The beds were hard and the bedding was not good. The pillows were old and had gone into lumps. on a good note, it is in a good position for food and drinks and the pool was lovely. We have had a holiday home ourselves, so we were expecting something with a licence to be good. It didn't spoil our stay, but it could have been a lot better.

It is advertised as " ..a beautiful apartment...on the ground floor.." but in reality, it is a gloomy basement, with a single window--which is necessarily obscured by lace curtains to provide some much-needed privacy.The electricity supply wiring is underpowered, which caused the system to trip frequently. There is information about this in guidance material at the property, alleging that Spanish electricity supply is not like UK etc. I doubt that this is a valid excuse, and in any event , the situation should have been fully disclosed to would-be renters beforehand, prior to their committing to the place.The windowless internal bedroom is very cramped with the two single beds jammed together, leaving just enough space to get to the bedhead--by walking sideways. The bedding is of poor quality.The bathroom is adequate, but the extractor did not work.

Apartamento ideal para dos personas, se ajusta perfectamente a descripción y fotos. Piscina a escasos 20 metros, zona muy tranquila. Añadir que la cocina no dispone de cafetera, sí hervidor de agua. El único PERO es que el jardín no estaba muy limpio ya que había olor y heces de gatos.

Ok for a short visit

Didn’t really appreciate that the apartment was on the lower (basement) level and with the other properties surrounding it, the garden didn’t get any sun. This was a February stay, so it may be different in the summer months. It was quite cool in the apartment when we arrived and putting on more than 1 heater did trip the electrics. The proximity to the swimming pool, Bistro restaurant (excellent food) and supermarket was very convenient.

Thanks for your feedback Margaret and for your stay at our apartment. Yes, unfortunately there is not a great deal of sun in the garden during the winter months but the garden does get sun in the summer. We do find that not having direct sun in the garden all day long helps to keep the apartment cooler in the summer months. In Spain, there are regulator switches installed in properties to ensure that not too many appliances are on at the same time and sometimes this can trip the electrics if there are several high electricity usage items on at the same time.

Excellent all round accommodation

Communication with the owner from the initial booking point was simple. This one bedroom accommodation was perfect for our requirements with fully fitted kitchen / shower and air-conditioning and was noticeably clean. My 11yr old daughter spent much of every day at the tennis academy some five minutes walk away. On her return we would take advantage of the large community pool located 150 meters from the accommodation where she made some good friends and during the evening we ventured 100 meters to take advantage of the restaurants / entertainment in the square. Just what we needed.

We only needed a 1 bedroom apartment so this was perfect for us. It's position at La Manga club was ideal for visiting the places we have not been to for a few years, particularly Portman. The square round the corner was perfect for shops and bars. A really enjoyable holiday.

Excellent appartment in Bellaluz

Had a great stay after completing the Camino del Norte. Pippa's appartment is very well maintained and very handy for both Tennis and Golf as well as a great local pub , the Scotsman. The Vivir boutigue is also a must visit clothes shop and all the local residents are very friendly and welcoming.

Perfect location,lovely apartment

The apartment was great for a holiday , immaculate on arrival,every item I needed to prepare a meal was provided, bed linen, towels all provided, lovely terrace for an evening barbecue if required, apartment only a few yards from night life and a great communal pool, would definitely love to return.

Fab Apartment

My son and girlfriend have just returned from spending one week in this lovely clean apartment, well equipped, and nice furnishings. This apartment is very close to the Bellaluz Square where there are a couple of bars and a resteraunt , and a very well stocked supermarket,(which can be more pricey than the main one down at La Sabinas ). We always go the the Los Molinos restaurant which is also called the Windmill, the food and salads are to die for. I will definitely be recommending this apartment to our friends who come and visit us when we are in La Manga. Thanks to the hospitality of Pippa. Lorna Sang

Really nice apartment clean comfortable a home from home beds spotless good which promoted rest and a good nights slee. To have sky sport to catch up with events was grest, kitchen fully equipped washing done before getting home, close to everything you would need. Owners very helpful with no problems from start to finish thanks for allowing us to stay in your home. Will return in the future. Gillian

wonderful holiday

Stayed for one week oct half term and had a fantastic time. Woman on my own, very safe, very friendly always someone to talk to. Have been now 4 times and love this place. La manga rentacar taxi from and to airport 45 euros each way. Went out every nite for dinner either to the square which is on the doorstep or a stroll to Si Bar which was always busy. Supermarket on doorstep also bit pricey but thats to be expected. Pool beautiful , sooo relaxing. Apartment great very clean well equipped. My only comment- it could have a hairdryer - never thought to pack one but borrowed one from another homeowner so it wasnt a problem. People keen to help one another.Lovely outside area. Just fab didnt wasnt to come home! Will be back next year with and without the kids!! Many thanks.

BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT IN FANTASTIC LOCATION !!

We have just returned from our holiday Aug 2009 and stayed in this fabulous apartment. The accomodation was 1st class, very clean, well equipped and excellent value for money. There was NOTHING to fault with this accomodation and we would certainly book this again and recommend to our friends and family. The apartment is located in a fantastic location near to the main Bellaluz square which has brilliant restaurants and bars, but without been too near. The apartment is also 2 seconds walk from the lovely Bellaluz pool which never seems to get that busy. If you book this apartment you will have a fab holiday !!!! Thank you to the Ebdon family for your wonderful help and efficient service !!

A lovely apartment for a couple...

My partner and I stayed in the above apartment and we absolutely loved it, perfect size for a couple, very clean, tidy and spacious with everything you need. Very close to the communal pool which also has a smaller pool for children and a small play area with a ping pong table. The apartment is also right next to the square which has bars, a restaurant, small grocery shop and other little shops around. Would definitely recommend for couples who want a relaxed or sport filled holiday.

Have just returned from a lovely holiday in a very clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment, set in beautiful surroundings. Be advised to walk further afield for better value cafes, bars and restaurant.2 Cafes in the tennis club area are much better value than Bellaluz square. Would also recommend the Chinese restaurant (i think called Wok) near to the cricket ground- excellent! If you visit in April, take some warmer clothing as the evenings can be quite chilly, although we also had plenty of sunshine during the day.
