This 5 star luxury slopeside chalet is the perfect location to spend the vacation of a lifetime. Located at the end of Silver Star Drive - directly on the slope, with the best views in all of Big Sky, this home will provide the perfect escape from reality that we are all searching for. Enjoy the benefits of skiing in for lunch or cup of hot chocolate, the spectacular views from the 7 person hot tub while drinking the beverage of your choice, watching your child sled next to the home, or simply curling up next to the large stone fireplace in the living room and staring at the most amazing views in Big Sky.

This ski-in/ski-out home has heated floors throughout, a stone wood burning fireplace in the living room with 3 bedrooms + a totally separate loft, all with private baths & flat screen TV's. The master suite is on the main level and has a king bed and gas fireplace, as well as a large jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower + large double vanity. Bedroom suites 2 & 3 are located on the lower level. Bedroom suite 2 has a queen bed and private bath, and bedroom suite 3 has a queen bed and private bath.The loft is on the 3rd level of the home and has a queen bed and twin bed with a separate sitting area including 50" flat screen TV and sleeper sofa and private bath. This home sleeps 9+ comfortably.

Rest assured, when you do come to Big Sky, we are taking extra cleaning precautions to make sure your vacation rental "home away from home" will be safe and spotless.

* Big Sky Resort officially opens for ski season the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day. This property is ski-in/ski-out via the Alpine Meadows ski trail and Six Shooter lift. Early and late season ski access is condition dependent and may vary. All lift operations are completely at Big Sky Resort's discretion.

** There are LOTS of WINTER and SUMMER Activities available throughout Big Sky.
- In the Winter, this property offers excellent ski-in/ski-out to Big Sky Resort with a private outdoor hot tub. Also enjoy ice skating in the Town Center, dog sledding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sleigh rides, etc., all within 20 minutes of this property.
- In the Summer, enjoy golf at the Big Sky Resort Golf Course, hiking, biking, fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, etc. all within 5-15 minutes of this property.
- And the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park is only 1 hour away.

The house had an amazing view which was one of the highlights of the trip. We had plenty of space, it was extremely clean and had a fully stocked kitchen as well as plenty of other amenities including bear spray. Would definitely stay again!

Impressive views and great house

We love our stay at this house. We were mesmerized by the views. It was plenty of space for a family of 4. The kitchen was great and we cooked everyday. My kids loved the hot tub and the grownups loved how easy it was to ski in and out daily. Acra and team was very organized and everything was ready at the house for us. Will definitely book again.

Fantastic cabin

Stayed here for a week over spring break with my wife, three kids (ages 4, 6, and 9), and my parents. Cabin was absolutely perfect. Ski in/out was awesome. Hot tub was perfect. Nothing but great things to say. Definitely will return again!

Great ski house for families

We rent houses often and this one was one of the best. Great main floor. We were two families with kids of all ages and there was plenty of room to spread out or spend time together. Kitchen had very modern appliances and was well stocked. We would highly recommend this rental.

Great for family

We enjoyed our stay here. Kitchen has everything we needed and then some. Hot tub was nice in the evening when temps cooled down. FYI there is no air conditioning which I didn’t know (It was 80s when we visited). We made do with following the owners advice and fans provided by the house.

Family Vacation

We had a great visit and the house was just as advertised. We are a family of 7 and the space was perfect for us. It was well stocked and we felt like we are at home...we especially appreciated the humidifiers. The only negative comment i have is that it is time to get a new master bed.

February 2021 Ski Trip

12 Silver Star Chalet was nothing short of perfect! Heated floors, well-stocked kitchen that opens up into a cozy living room, ample firewood, ski-in/out, hot tub overlooking the mountain...you name it, this place has it! Property managers were very responsive and helpful! Towels, toiletries and kitchen essentials all provided including spices, oil, pots, pans, aluminum foil, dishwasher detergent, laundry pods, etc...and even 3 rolls of paper towels. Highly recommend this property and hope to visit Big Sky during the summer!

60th birthday celebration

We had a wonderful stay at the Silver Star Chalet. The house is well appointed and rooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen, bathrooms and hot tub were sparkling clean. This house fit our family perfectly. We loved the ability to ski in/out, although some pushing involved. The week we were there was snowy and beautiful. Only issue was with the fireplace. We had trouble keeping the fire lit and smoke entered the house. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Home Right on the Slopes

Silver Star Chalet was the perfect place for our family to spend a fantastic week of skiing in Big Sky. The house is true ski in ski out as it is right on the Alpine Meadows run, accessed by walking out the mud room t the rear of the house. It was a breeze to get down to Madison Base to drop off our grandchildren for ski school and easy to get back at the end of the day or a midday pit stop. The house is very well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen and general comfort. Fireplace worked great. It was also nice to have an oversized garage which allowed us to keep one car indoors and another in front of the garage. Our host was welcoming and communicated clearly before and during our stay. Can't recommend enough.

New Year family gathering. Everyone had a comfortable bedroom and private bathroom. Nice kitchen and family room. Super easy location both for clip-on & go skiing and for driving to local shops/restaurants. Nice view from the [very clean] hot tub. Couple of suggestions from the family - considering the pricing some nicer towels and some bathrobes would have been appreciated. Some of the kitchen items could use an upgrade. Overall - a really nice on-mountain house. We would rent again.

Perfect Stay!

This was our first time taking a vacation in this area and it was 10/10! This chalet is so cozy, roomy and has the most beautiful views. Our 7 year old and 14 year old slept upstairs in the loft which they had made into their own little space. They could chill out and watch tv up there and use their own bathroom. My husband and I and my parents had plenty of room too. We all had plenty of space with the extra bathrooms. The fireplace and hot tub was used almost every night. Perfect stay!!! Highly recommend!

Family Fun with Adult Kids

We had a fantastic vacation. This was our first visit to Big Sky and my husband said he thinks it was the best ski vacation ever. The house was beautiful, spacious, and included all the necessities from toiletries to kitchenware including spices and 2 coffee makers! We loved the private hot tub and used it every afternoon after skiing. It is a true ski in/out, however when we return, we might look for a house that takes less trail traversing. It was tough for our boarders. Despite that, I would rate this 5 out of 5! Thank you!
