Aspen retreat was perfect for a stay in the woods. It’s isolated but close enough to attractions in the hocking hills area. The cabin is big, but feels cozy.

This is a wonderful place for couples 3 bedroom 3 bath. We have been coming now for 4 years. Also very private which works good for us because we are outside listening to music and playing cornhole. See you again next year !

This was a beautiful, spacious cabin with all the amenities in a peaceful area. Plenty of hot water with three bathrooms and a nicely stocked kitchen. Had a little trouble getting the TV to work on main floor but could watch in the basement. That was me being mechanically challenged! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home with me and my sisters for a wonderful trip

It was a great place to stay! Close by everything in the area. We loved the hot tub. There wasn’t much toilet paper available, and also no tissues anywhere.

Although the place was very nice, the place was not very clean. We found food under and behind furniture. Animal feces on the bathroom wall and down onto the sink. The floors were filthy and unfortunately we had no access to cleaning supplies. No mop or vacuum just a broom. We did contact the owner to who responded several days later.

The Aspen Retreat was beautiful, clean, and just the place to get away for a restful retreat. The hot tub was perfect and the pool table and air hockey made for a fun evening in. If we get the opportunity, we would definitely stay again!

Make sure you get the door code before arriving on site there is no signal at the lodge. Wifi signal was weak. The grill was not cleaned.

We stayed at the same cabin two years and found everything to be five star. This time not so much. Upon driving in the lane the branches needed trimmed. Scratching on our new car which wasn't ideal. Need trimmed. The drain in the basement sink minimal draining with a trickle of water coming out. I was afraid it would be the same for the shower, however, it was not. I did read a previous review that mentioned the same problem so wasn't anything we did. The bath towels.....thick and like sandpaper. Paper products, gas station quality. Disappointing. Some items seemed like they were on their last leg. I think it has been abused in the past two years since we were there last. Oh well, easy fixes.
