We ended up getting married with about 65 people and 40 or 50 were able to stay with us comfortably. The property is BEAUTIFUL and was perfect for us and our guests absolutely loved it!! Rackam was extremely helpful and patient with us. Would love to come here again someday when we have kids and show them where we got married and have a family getaway.

Amazing place for our family reunion! The WiFi worked great for those that had to work a little, A/C was good to beat the unusual 90 temps outside, and the pool helped us cool off as well. Loved the big back porch, yard games and river for fishing. So many amenities and details provided to make it feel like home. We want to go again!

A beautiful location on the Cub River. We enjoyed the large grass area and activities as well as the large deck space with lots of tables and seating. The pool temperature is brisk as it is unheated but very clean. The two hot-tubs balanced it out nicely.The host is easily available and did all that he could to help us enjoy our stay. One of the many vehicles we had there experienced a problem and we were able to get a friend of the hosts to come visit onsite and help us get a solution.

The property was as listed and more than we imagined. It was very comfortable and since it was used, we felt right at home. The two hot tubs were a hit and the pool was excellent with very little chlorine or chemicals but still very clean. Our family of 20 had a plethora of beds to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed or required. No complaints. Thank you Scott and Loren for your excellent communication and suggestions.

Red Cub Lodge in Preston Idaho is well worth booking! One of the most awesome locations our family has ever visited. The property was well maintained and the owner a delight to work with. Lots to do and a favorite for our group of 30! The river was a favorite spot to rock hunt, wade, and read. The pool is big enough for a lot of people and deep enough to dive into. The meticulously kept and spacious green lawns were great for cornhole, badminton, and horseshoes. And the mammoth weeping willows were the crowning glory of the property! Don't miss out on this gem!

We used this for a family reunion of 40 people and had a great time. Great private location a 45 min drive from Logan, 15 min from Preston. We used the firepit, hot tubs, pool, outdoor games, etc., there was something for everyone. Good hiking nearby to beautiful waterfalls. Kitchen was perfect and well stocked. Fridge and freezer large enough for a week of food. We used both glamping tents and they were fun. Living room area was large enough for our group to watch World Cup together. The deck is huge and great in good weather. Hosts were very responsive and are great to work with. If you're looking for a night out, Big J burgers in Preston or Smithfield was a favorite flr burgers and thick shakes.

Check in went very well. Owner was there to greet us and give us advice on the grounds and use of the pool and hot tubs.Kitchen was well equipped and family was able to cook and serve meals mostly on the deck.Faculties were great with so much we could do right on site.

Red Cub Lodge is magical! Our first big family vacation with 24 people and it was amazing! Loved sleeping in the tents with the sounds of the water rushing by! Wonderful experience and wonderful host!

Wedding weekend at the lodge

We had about 30 people staying at the lodge for 4 nights and we had our wedding ceremony and reception there. We couldn’t have asked for a better location! Everyone raved about the scenery and the amenities the whole time. No complaints!!

We loved our stay! There were 33 of us, from 75 to 7, and we had a wonderful time. We loved the new deck and ate on it every meal. We had family gatherings on it in the evenings and even a dance party one night. We would recommend this house to all our friends. Check in and out was super easy and when we had a question about anything, it was answered quickly.

Idyllic Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion held at Red Cub Lodge. The venue was as described, with plenty of room for our large group, both inside and out. We particularly enjoyed the spring-fed swimming pool and dual hot tubs. The property manager was communicative and helpful. We will definitely consider staying at this lovely place again in the future.

Exactly what we wanted

This property is perfect for a family reunion. The bunk room would be so fun for a bunch of cousins to enjoy. Plenty of beds for a huge group. The outside was fun with lots of activities available.

Beautiful Location, Never wanted to Leave

The property was beautiful, and had enough activities to occupy adults and children for 4 full days. The lodge is not huge inside, but the distribution of bathrooms worked great! The living area was comfortable for meals and hanging out. Perfect for a family reunion. Looking forward to going back again.

Excellent family-oriented property.

Our family of 30 consisting of adults and children all voted to stay here again. The pool was pristine, the property well-maintained, and the sleeping arrangements ideal for our group. One of the owners lives on the property and was very responsive to our needs. Highly recommended.

Perfect property for family reunion of all ages

Our whole group loved this property and we had a great time for our family reunion. Before our stay, the host was helpful to quickly answer any questions we had as we prepared to come. While we were there, we had some unforeseen issues that were out of the control of the host but he was quick to help resolve them for us. He was excellent and we would love to come stay again in the future.
