About this property

The Carriage House, North Conway Village. Walk to Restaurants & Shops

Our charming Carriage House features an open concept design with high ceilings and a spacious sleeping loft. The master bedroom has a king size, memory foam mattress. Upstairs in the loft area is a Queen size bed and a Full size bed. We're a quick walk to the restaurants and shops in historic North Conway Village. Vito Marcello's Italian restaurant, my favorite, is a quick walk down Seavey St. We recommend a walk into the North Conway village to go to Zeb's General Store and other great shops. Cranmore Mountain Resort is a 10 minute walk in the other direction plus easy access to mountain biking trails and the paved Rec Path. The Conway Scenic Railroad in the village is a 10 minute walk down the well-lit sidewalks. Story Land is a 10 minute drive. We're a quick 15 minute drive to Attitash Mountain Resort and 20 minutes to Wildcat and Pinkham Notch and Mt. Washington. You can take a lazy canoe, kayak or tube down the Saco River (First Bridge beach on the Saco is 1 mile away) and we have camp chairs and beach towels available. Echo Lake State Park (2.3 miles away) is perfect for a family picnic and swim. The valley has some of the best hiking and family fun - Diana's Baths and Arethusa Falls are our favorites. We live on property in the cottage next door with our two Saint Bernards, Iggy and Yara. There is a 3-night minimum stay during peak seasons.

This cabin was the absolute perfect spot for our home base while exploring the area. Super cute, super comfy and very well stocked. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The owners (and Iggy and Yara) were excellent hosts. If you’re looking for a perfect spot while staying in the area, definitely rent this one. It’s a gem!

We stayed at The Carriage House July 18th-22nd. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our last minute trip. We were so lucky that timeframe was available! The house is adorable, very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The hosts live on property with the most beautiful landscaping and home. Great location to the village too. Walked there daily and was about a 6 minutes trip one way. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay here. Wish it could have been longer. Karen and Russ are very friendly hosts. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Just love staying here! Central to shopping and restaurants, and an easy walk to a few hiking spots! We have returned here three times and will definitely be back!

A great spot to access all of the activities of the White Mountains. Loved that we could walk to downtown North Conway and not deal with traffic or parking. The space was well appointed and a perfect fit for a couple for a week.

Stayed here to be close to some hiking with friends over the weekend...very close to Main Street and many good restaurants as well as trailheads! Would definitely rent again...a/c kept us cool as it got warmer Saturday afternoon/night too!

This 1920's carriage house is in a great location in between North Conway Village and Mt. Cranmore. It's close to everything, walking distance to the Village, Cranmore and Whitaker Woods, and the Rec Path. It's in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by majestic pines and other mature trees.

We take loving care of the property. We're both retired, and take pride in being exceptional hosts. Besides, you may spot a bear out back. If not, there's always our Saint Bernards, Iggy & Yara, who we'd be happy to introduce you to.
