Our ranch provides easy access to the best the area has to offer. This well appointed four bedroom home is outfitted with all the amenities you will need to maximize enjoyment during your stay. The outdoor lifestyle is what this place is all about. The beautiful deck, pool, and hot tub are over the top and the views are simply gorgeous. The property features a wet weather creek and reservoir that attracts turkeys, ducks, wild boar, and deer. Take a hike, a dip, then head to the brewery for some R&R... your perfect day awaits. All four bedrooms have 50" HDTV's and there is a 70" monster screen in the living room so if you want to stay inside and watch the game (DirectTV/NFL Sunday Ticket!) or get caught up on work (satellite internet), you're covered. In addition to having all the major pay-for movie channels like HBO and Showtime, we also have a great DVD library for the film buffs out there. Hanging out by the fire pit is a great way to cap off a day and don't forget to break out the s'mores. The house is outfitted with high end appliances across the board and even seasoned chefs will find themselves well equipped in our kitchen or at the helm of our state of the art grill. The home is filled with lots of interesting original artwork and the grounds surrounding are serene and picturesque. Located less than 30 minutes to downtown Austin, you get the best of both worlds.

The outside was AMAZING. The inside quirky but fun. Only real issue was the odor coming from the guest bathroom. It unfortunately smelled like sewage, not pleasant at all. We all used the bathroom closest to the master bedroom instead.

We had a good time here on a girls trip

There were some things that needed to be repaired… some screens on windows were torn, ledge between living and dining room was cracked and wobbly, patio chairs were dated/worn, outside table was broken. Washing machine did leak on our last day there. Air conditioning did have a hard time keeping up with the heat outside. Pool was fantastic and lots of pool floaties to enjoy. The house was clean.

Wonderful stay!

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this cozy place tucked in the hills southwest of Austin. We spent a good chunk of time in the hot tub and pool and enjoyed the scenery and privacy. I would definitely stay here again!

Driftwood getaway

This home had everything we were looking for! Pool, grill, firepit, big beds, great kitchen, washer and dryer. And a lovely view of the hill country. If you like visiting wineries, breweries and distilleries, you’ll be in the right place with this house.

We loved the outside and pool set up. Wished they had more shaded area to sit by the pool. Grill was not working at the time so that was disappointing. Overall the house provided a nice getaway for my family and I. Close to wineries!! We would stay here again.

I couldn't have DREAMED for a more perfect home for my family's summer vacation!

This beautifully updated ranch-style home in the Texas Hill Country is heaven on earth. Three generations spent our days swimming, hiking, cooking, exploring and relaxing at this gorgeous retreat. We took fun daytrips to the local wineries and distilleries, shopping for antiques in Wimberley, enjoying family adventures in New Braunfels, and catching up with friends in Austin. Many priceless memories were made and we are already planning to book this house again next summer.

We like to spend time at Canyon Lake. I booked this property at the last minute for my wife's birthday and was so glad I did. We sat outside in the mornings watching the deer and turkeys while enjoying the view from the back porch. The home is just a short drive to Canyon Lake. In the evening, after being at the lake, we enjoyed the hot tub while the kids played in the pool. The house was very accommidating with 2 large King rooms allowing multi famies to enjoy the property. Great food and entertainment just minutes away. Look forward to going back in the Fall to sit around the fire pit and enjoy the views of the Texas Hill Country. The owners were very responsive and available if needed. I highly recomend staying here at the Driftwood Ranch Retrear.

Those who prefer to stay inside will find themselves quite comfortable atop any of our premium mattresses covered with luxury sheets and pillows.
