Boardwalk Cottages Mt Martha - Cottage 2

Nestled amongst trees on our 5-acre property, eat breakfast on the deck and enjoy listening to the birds. Overlooking our family vineyard, dam and the Balcombe Creek Nature reserve, our studio style cottages are self-contained and well equipped for short or longer stays. With a queen and double bed, they accommodate up to four people. The two cottages are well away from our main residence, and we leave you to enjoy your privacy throughout your stay.

At our very doorstep is the Balcombe Creek Boardwalk. Take a stroll to the heart of Mount Martha Village and beach or to the historic Briars Park and Homestead. By car, you are close to the attractions of the Mornington Peninsula. Enjoy some of the regions finest wineries & restaurants, visit markets, play golf, ride the Eagle Gondola at Arthur's Seat, soak in the Peninsula Hot Springs, pick fresh Strawberries (in season) or challenge the kids in the mazes or tree surfing.

We had the most wonderful stay. The cottage was beautifully set up and comfortable. The hosts provided great food basics to start our stay, like milk, honey and eggs. The setting in a forested garden was so relaxing. Great big swing in the trees for kids. Also, being so close to the boardwalk /Belcombe reserve meant morning walks were a dream. We hope to be back!

A relaxing stay!!

We had a lovely week away in Mount Martha. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well stocked with all that you needed for breakfast and more. It is in a beautiful and relaxing location within easy reach of the many attractions Mount Martha and the surrounds have to offer. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to others.

Melbourne Getaway

Close to Melbourne city and really close to the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience. This property was a lovely Mornington Peninsula escape. The loaf of fresh bread, toasted with home grown honey for breakfast on the deck was just wonderful escape from the city bustle a short drive away. A great central location for us to use to explore the area for the first time.

This cottage is exactly as the pictures show, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful vista out to trees, birds and rolling green hills. The wifi was much better than the low expectation that was set and as others have commented, the staple supplies in the kitchen are much appreciated.

Character cottage in lovely setting.

A gorgeous cottage amidst beautifully treed property. Everything you could ever need is supplied by Julie and Andy with extra treats as well. Loved the high ceilings, exposed beams and dormer windows - lots of character and the fans, and air conditioning were perfect for Vic weather with hot one day, freezing the next! Would definitely stay here again when we are visiting our folk again. Thanks Julie and Andy for your generosity and hospitality.

Fantastic get away

Well appointed, clean and homely in peaceful surrounds. Loved all the extra touches- the fresh bread, eggs & juice. Plus other goodies. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels/linen available. Everything was thought of. The hosts were lovely and nothing was to much trouble. Beautiful week away

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. Julie and Andy kindly provided us with breakfast foods + a bowl of Easter eggs! We felt very welcomed. The cottage itself is well maintained and very comfortable and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed walking down to say good morning to the lovely sheep at the bottom of the hill! This property is also very conveniently situated if you are planning on doing some local-localish exploring. There are two walking tracks just across the road. Mt Martha beach and the Briars wildlife sanctuary are walking distance. The cottages are near enough to main roads that driving to nearby suburbs is a breeze. We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider returning! Thankyou so much for having us

Little Slice of Paradise

The Cottage was absolutely beautiful perched on the hill overlooking the tiny winery. Its location is great, a short walk along the boardwalk to the village of Mt Martha and convenient to major roads, but still has a feeling of being quiet and peaceful. Thanks to Julie and Andy who were warm, friendly and very responsive to our needs and added so many lovely touches to ensure that we felt at home from the start. We especially loved the fresh eggs, yoghurt, Tim Tams in the fridge, the bircher muesli, jams, olive oil and many other things in the cupboards to ensure that we were comfortable, and especially the fresh home baked bread on the kitchen counter on arrival. Plenty of fresh towels and meticulously clean. Marley the dog is adorable! We will definitely return in the future.

We have been staying at Boardwalk Cottages for many years. The cottage is located in amongst gum trees and is a short walk to the Briars and the boardwalk to Mt. Martha shops and beach. Perfect place for Mornington & SandBelt Golf

We were in town to play golf at SandBelt courses such as Yarra Yarra and Sandy Links as well as end of the Mornington Peninsula courses such as St Andrews Beach and The Dunes. Drove up to the Frankston station to attend the Penfolds Victoria Derby Day at the Flemington Racecourse. Mount Martha is a great halfway location. We were in one of two cottages on a huge property, the owners home above and a vineyard below. Easy access to park across the road and convenient to the M11 motorway. Easy access to restaurants, grocery and to beaches.
