7/15 Beach Road, Hawks Nest

Beaches at Hawks Nest - middle floor modern apartment opposite Bennett’s beach. This apartment has air conditioning, 3 generous sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, built ins, internal laundry and a large balcony with seating area. The Beaches complex has a pool, BBQ area, underground parking and a lift that services all floors from the basement carpark. The unit is located approximately 100m from the surf club, 10-minute walk to the Hawks Nest Golf Club and a 10 minute walk to shops & cafes. This property has WIFI.

*Guest need to supply their own linen (sheets & towels). There are blankets doonas and pillows at the property. Linen can be hired from Tea Gardens Laundromat 49971422.

Please be advised that should issues with the wifi require a technician it may take some time to rectify due to location.

We do not accept school leaver groups or party groups.

The number of occupants must not exceed the number of persons that the property sleeps. No bookings will be made to persons under 25 years of age, identity checks are carried out upon arrival.

We require all guest to complete a Hawks Nest Beach Realty guest registration form before arrival.

Please note this property does offer WIFI. There is limited cell phone reception within the area. Please be advised should issues with the WIFI require a technician it may take some time to rectify due to location.

All guest must ensure they abide by the NSW Short-Term Holiday Code of Conduct Regulations. Guest can find a full copy of the legislation Code of Conduct under policies. Guest will also be emailed a copy of the code of conduct at the time of booking.

Fabulous location but in need of better maintenance!
The property was in a wonderful location and our initial reaction was that we had chosen well. From the outside the block is modern and pleasing on the eye, with excellent lower car parking and an escalator. However, on gaining access to our first floor apartment, it was immediately evident that the interior decor and some fixtures and fittings are in need of maintenance and tender loving care. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings adequate but the apartment interior is in need of a repaint and the old drill holes filled and made good. Another disappointment was the failure of the maintenance/management team to have the bed-linen and towels we had previously ordered and paid for, delivered. This had been overlooked, so we had to drive back to the real estate office to collect these essentials personally. The staff at the real estate office were apologetic and courteous. Whilst there, we informed them that we were unable to turn on the tv in the apartment and that the sink in the en-suite bathroom was not draining water. In fairness to the management team, they were able to resolve these 2 issues within the hour. The carpets in the apartment are badly stained and grubby which, along with poor vacuuming, badly cleaned windows and unswept balcony areas added to our feelings of disappointment. There is a beautiful, communal pool for use with this rental and along with its fantastic location, was the main reason we had chosen this particular apartment. We were sure that our grandchildren aged 8 years and 4 years would love using the pool. When we went to use it, it was very dirty. There was a film of something or other floating on the surface of the cloudy water. The sides and bottom of the pool were shadowed with patchy mould. This pool had clearly not been cleaned properly for some time. This is a potentially serious health issue and prevented us all from enjoying this facility. There were other issues with the apartment, fairly minor in nature but irritating just the same. These have been brought to the attention of the office staff who stated that they were already aware of the staining to the carpets but had not been informed of the other issues by previous renters.
