The apARTment is the place where I grew-up in. It was built during the communist era in the second half of the '80. It was a period when the city of Constanta was expanding due to a growing need of workforce required for sustaining local industries. For this reason, many young families from all over the country were allocated housing in the area. The whole neighbourhood reveals a socialist type of urban planning where housing units were built around common spaces and commercial complexes where inhabitants could interact and satisfy their daily needs. Today the urban landscape has changed a lot, nonetheless it still maintains the spirit of those long gone days.

One of the unique benefits of The apARTment is the possibility of experiencing a stay in a building from the communist era and understand how people were living in that period. The area is very quiet and the location has been recently renovated to provide a high level of comfort.
