Gorgeous Sunset View & Sandy Beach on Shell Lake with Game Room!

Summer Rates range $700 - $800 per night. We have a 5-night minimum stay summer months June/July/Aug & Fall/Winter/Spring Rates range $399-$650 per night. 2-night minimum fall/winter/spring months -Taxes include 5.5% State of WI & County Sales & Use Tax plus new City of Shell Lake 5% Room Tax. Enjoy the sunset views from the deck of this beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 full bath Cabin on 2600 acre Shell Lake. Fish off the dock, play in the sand, hang by the fire, have some fun in the game room, take walks, bike or just relax. Shell Lake has very good clarity. Wonderful to swim in. We have a large sandy beach & as you walk into the water it’s gradual & does not get deep until past our dock. At the end of our dock, the water is about waist high or so. The town of Shell Lake is a few miles away, across the lake from the cabin. The area around the cabin is very wooded & East Lake Drive is great to take walks around the area or bike, ATV etc.. Located within blocks of the Wisconsin ATV/Snowmobile trails of the Indian-head region of northern Washburn County. Shell Lake is known for Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike & Muskie fishing. Shell Lake is a 2-hour scenic drive from the northeast side of the Twin Cities. We have a set of ordinances for all renters of our cabin from the City of Shell Lake: no fireworks, no tents/trailers/campers on property, no launching boats off the private beach (use public boat launch in Shell Lake only), no driving ATV's on cabin beach & cabin lawn, quiet time outside on beach & on all outside decking is 10pm, no more than 4 motorized vehicles are allowed to park on the premises at any time, the maximum # of occupants is 10 (children ages 0-3 are welcome & are not included in the total count). Payments received online only.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Return the keys
Tom Elliott our cabin caretaker handles all in person check-ins and in person check-outs.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All reservations are subject to owner screening and approval before they become final. This will occur within 48 hours of the booking.
No RV's/Campers/Tents or any supplemental sleeping accommodations are allowed on the premises. Quiet time outside on beach & all decking is 10pm.
No ATV's on beach or lawn. No fireworks. No more than 4 motor vehicles are allowed to park on the premises. No launching boats/jet skis at cabin beach

Absolutely beautiful cabin on gorgeous Shell Lake. The owners, Pam and Doug, along with their property caretaker, Tom, take great care of their property. We enjoy the amenities too, especially the boats and game room! This is our third time renting, so you can tell just how much we enjoy it!!

Great Week at the Lake

Cabin, property, and lake do not disappoint. Everything you need for a great week at the lake. Indoor activities for a rainy day, perfect beach and swimming for sunny days, quiet and beautiful lake for fishing, boating, and relaxing on the water. Great Family Vacation Spot!

Beautiful home, beautiful beach, beautiful lake. Perfect place to spend time with the family. So much to do both inside and outdoors. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and plenty of space. Kids loved the game room and had pool tournaments for hours!

Long Weekend Getaway with our Adult Kids

This was our first time staying at this beautiful lake/beach front property. The in person check in process was fast and easy. Lots to do outside as well as in. We all kept busy and had a good time. This is one of our top places to stay now as a family getaway.

Beautiful Property, Great Getaway!

We just returned from a wonderful weekend! The cabin was spacious but still cozy, with lots of places to hang out and enjoy great family time. What makes this property unique

Big sandy beach and very clear water with a sandy bottom. The lake is usually not that busy. You can boat across the lake to Shell Lake and dock your boat and have dinner at Lakeview Bar and Grill in Shell Lake or get hot dogs and ice cream at Scoop N Brew or have breakfast at Shell Lake Lunchbox. All 3 located on main street.
