Alders Chalet offers you the tranquility of a beautiful forest setting all while minutes from the popular Keystone ski area. This home was built with comfort and luxury in mind. Make use of the pizza oven when spending a night in, or grill up a feast on the wrap around deck. Once dinner concludes, enjoy a soak in the large private hot tub, sit by the fire in the living room or watch a movie in the basement theater room. The basement also has a pool table, workout room, sauna, and steam shower.

In the summer months take advantage of a trail behind the house for a leisurely hike. Advanced skiers can take it directly to the gondola to hit the slopes in no time. Let Alders Chalet and River Ridge Rentals help make your next mountain getaway a vacation you will never forget!

Great house for a group of 11. Roomy, clean. Enjoyed the location as well. Quick drive to river run parking for skiing. Also an easy walk into river run village when not carrying equipment. The property mgmt responded quickly to any concerns.

The amenities and layout stood out the most. The house is incredibly well set up for a group, especially the kitchen, dining area, and living space. Check-in was seamless and we didn’t need to contact the host at all, which honestly speaks to how smooth everything was. It was a comfortable, easy stay from start to finish.

Everything about this rental was exactly what we’d hoped for. The check in process and communication leading up to our trip was perfect; very simple and easy to reach the rental company and very timely responses. The rental itself was even better than expected by the pictures. We took this trip with 10 friends to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was everything I had hoped for. All of the amenities were spot on: Hot tub was huge and hot; Steam showers (in master and game room) were impeccable and much needed; and the sauna made the chilly days on the slopes melt away. The beds were all incredibly comfortable and had ample blankets for coziness. Needless to say, if we make our way to Keystone again, The Alder’s Chalet will be our host again if they’ll have us! We even requested a late check out last minute so we could hit the slopes in the morning before we left and they happily accepted. Thank you for making my 40th birthday the most memorable one yet!

Mountain Home Vacation

Spent one week at this well designed, spacious and beautifully decorated home. All the amenities included are as described in the listing. Very comfortable home with wraparound decks and outdoor furniture. Overall, very welcoming and well stocked home made for a perfect escape from the heat of Houston in a beautiful alpine setting along the Snake River.

Very Nice Home, great location!

We were a party of 8 including two children and the home was perfect for us. The only knock is that there is a twin bed in the office/study but it is elevated with no safety rail, so don’t count on using it. The pizza oven was a nice thing to have and the kitchen was very well stocked with every cooking appliance you may need. The steam shower and sauna plus the jacuzzi gave us plenty of options to enjoy relaxing after skiing. It’s walking distance to the village but if you are skiing you will want to drive and park or take the shuttle which has a stop just across the street

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great place! Had lots of amenities, up to date, and place was clean when we showed up. Only complaints, and minor ones, were the wifi password in the online guest handbook wasn’t correct. Password printed in the place was right. Ice maker didn’t work but could have been user error. And lastly, it would be nice if there were a snow removal company lined up for the driveway with the ability to coordinate with people staying there at the time. Other than those items, the place was great to stay at and would stay at again.

Guys Annual Ski Trip

We have a group of 6 guys who do a week ski trip every year for the last 10 years, and always pick a new mountain. This property was the best we have ever stayed in! It’s even better than the pictures look, and the Murphy bed in the theater room made it a great 6th bedroom so we all had our own. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to cook every night. Hot tub was amazing with a view that can’t be beat. Walking to lifts is a bit far (10m) but the red line shuttle stops right in front of the house .

Great house with tons of room for multiple families. Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. All of the cooking supplies we needed and great bath products. We loved being so close to the slopes and even walked to the ski village in the snow one day. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Family vacay

The 14 of us - 3 generations - came from 3 states to enjoy the snow and the mountains together. This was an awesome house for our 8 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of hangout room in the great room, room for 4 cooks at a time in the kitchen, and a lot of bathrooms. The resort management was very responsive and helpful, and we love skiing and boarding at Keystone!

Had a great experience at River Ridge. Just got back from a five night ski trip with a group of 11 guys. Accommodations were absolutely perfect and clean. Pizza oven was a nice touch and we really enjoyed making our own pizzas. Location is perfect very close to the skiing at Keystone. This is a fantastic property and hey great value

Great Family Get Together

Lots of comfortable space for a large family ski vacation. The check in process is convenient. The property manager was super responsive to our needs. The only drawback is that the two twin Murphy Beds in the "Loft" are right over the living room and are not really good for children because of the noise from below.
