This light and bright Seattle Spanish-mission style home was built in 1905 and lovingly remodeled in 2015 with all the character of an old house preserved. It's also located on a major bike route and the bus stop across the street is serviced by frequent transit. This rental is for the whole house, including the front deck, a private fully-fenced backyard. There is also a garage available for off-street parking.
The home features a light-filled living room with TV, separate dining room with seating for 6-8, and a chef's kitchen with high-end appliances (Blue Star range). There are three bedrooms, two with full-sized beds, and a quiet master bedroom with a queen. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower surround. There is a second bathroom with a bathtub/shower adjacent to the laundry closet.

Great location, close to major Seattle attractions with plenty of room for family and guests. We stayed Thanksgiving week and cooked dinner for in-town family. Everyone had a great time! Thanks!
We loved this home. Short rides to various spots and a lovely walk to the water.
The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We all enjoyed staying here.
Our family had a lovely time here when we came to celebrate our son’s wedding. With approval from the owners we hosted a dinner for out of towners. We set up tables in the peaceful back yard and it was just perfect. Several impromptu gatherings later we can heartily recommend this house for its great hospitality, location and utility. And the beds are super comfortable! Also the host was super helpful and quick with his responses to my requests and questions. Thank you!
We wanted a nice place to stay for two small children and two adults, in a pleasant neighborhood, and we had a wonderful time in this house. Great kitchen and garden!

Why they chose this property
The Dexter House is a really unique and recognized property in the neighborhood. It's style and brick construction stand out among the more traditional old craftsman houses and modern new construction on Dexter Avenue. With some modern updates, the place has become a great home-base for exploring Seattle.
